We missed the Saturday breakfast because of a miscommunication. Sunday the restaurant was closed, so we had no breakfast either day we were there

They were very stingy with the cups in the room. Only 2 for bath and bedroom, for two people. How much does a cup cost? Also, they were stingy with wash cloths of all things. Other places we’ve stayed, there are usually 4 cloths. For a handicap room they only had a king size bed, but it was comfortable for my daughter and myself. Also the toilet seat slipped off its intended place, which was uncomfortable when you sat on it. Generally speaking, it was beautiful and comfortable and clean. Also fell short of coffee in the room. They could have had more than two cups provided because we drink coffee in the room, especially since the restaurant was closed Sunday Also they took a VERY long time to answer calls. Maybe they are short staffed, especially at night.

Check in was welcoming and efficient. We were meeting friends for a mini-reunion and being able to walk around town made this the perfect location. We enjoyed our balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable! Our room was spacious and quiet. Elevators were not overcrowded. There is a nice bar/restaurant in the lobby area, a beautiful courtyard. We will definitely return!

the breakfast was adequate, the location was very good, the room and the facility was clean,of the facility

the ADA room we had was not easy for a handicapped person to get in and out of the facility. it was a long walk if you used the ramp otherwise the stairs were very hard for my husband to use to get to the lobby and door to the parking lot.

The space was very clean and comfortable. The front desk attendant upon check in was great. The wifi was strong, and parking was easy. The location was very walkable. You're downtown in minutes by foot.

The sheets on the bed were pilling a lot. I would not have expected this at a hotel that costs $270 for a night. Also, the bed sagged in the middle. I think a daily additional fee of $25 is pretty insane. You can't say certain amenities are "complimentary" when it's literally paid for in this daily fee.

We were traveling with two small dogs. The room set up was very good. Very good access on the ground floor for dog walking and garage. The area was quiet but an easy walk to cafes and variety of restaurants. Los Gatos seems to be very dog friendly.

Toll House could use a some routine decor upgrade (bathrooms, paint, rugs, etc.). Security in the underground parking garage didn't seem very good.

Check-in was very nice. You are greeted with a smile and offered some wine or cookies upon your arrival, which is a welcome touch after traveling. Breakfast was very minimal (coffee/tea, packaged pastry and fruit), but nice that something was offered to get you on your way out the door.

One of the two indoor treadmills was out of service, but I let the hotel know about it.

quiet, comfortable, conveniently located in heart of Los Gatos -- walkable to everything we had a nice view of mountains, though other rooms face parking lot or inner courtyard the swanky Italian restaurant was lively at night

would stay here again - but overall, seems kind of lacking in character or something - felt somewhat impersonal, as if set up for banquets or corporate retreats and the like

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Room was exceptional! Had a 2 double bed room. Lots of leg room and a quiet balcony to sit out on overlooking the courtyard. Bathroom was beautiful w/ 2 sinks, tub/shower, large screen tv. Air conditioning was fabulous. Kept the room nice and cool. Was provided cold water in the little refrig..

The $25 resort fee that was charged each day. Was not listed on booking.com at time of reservation. Ended up paying more than what booking had.

Nice big rooms. The balcony. Thr bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff. All around great experience

That I only stayed 1 night. Wish I could have stayed longer. I did not care for the sliding door into the bathroom. It goes nice with the decor and eliminates a door blocking the lav. Just every time I would open it I would give it a good push and it would slam against the back door frame. I thought it was heavier than it was. It just annoying to me

Location to family home, and the room. It seems like every time I stay at the Toll House there are many great things about the hotel then there is always the little sneaky business decisions made to somehow put me into a corner that I cannot get around. This time it was the parking pass and breakfast charge. I did not need the parking pass as I walled from my family home and did not need the breakfast, but was unable to "not" be changed - why rip me off, if the money worth that much to you? Very slimy business model!

I did not need a parking pass (I drove but parked at my family home & walked to hotel), nor breakfast, but was charged anyway. The desk clerk could not stop the forced charge, so I took the parking pass and breakfast. The breakfast box, which was the most insignificant, cheep and lousy breakfast I have ever paid for at a hotel. Parking and breakfast charge was a rip-off. Not worth anything to me.
