Great location, right by the harbour, balcony was a nice touch. we were lucky to get the top room so the view was nice. Room was spacious, internet and TV worked fine. Water, tea and coffee always available at reception. Breakfast was great, yoghurts, cereal, fresh blueberries, bagels, croissants, ham, cheese, boiled eggs. We really enjoyed it and would spoilt stay again if we ever come back to Santa Barbara.

The bathroom was a bit dated and could do with a refresh, but that said it was clean and spacious so it wasn’t a problem.

The location was amazing. We went for the old Spanish days festival and it was fun. We got to watch the parade from our balcony. Breakfast was very good. Had good options. Pool was clean. Room was roomy. Customer service was great. I liked that they texted me days before my stay and asked me if I needed anything upon arrival. I asked for a room facing Cabrillo st to watch the parade and they made sure I got it. Was really happy with customer service.

The bathroom was a big turn off. The room seemed to be renovated and clean, but they skipped the bathroom. The tile was old on the floor and shower tile was very outdated. It seemed like there was mold growing on the caulking, water damage on the bottom of the door and walls from the water shooting out from bathtub, rust on the metal fixtures, the fan in the bathroom was very loud and the light was outdated. The doorknob in the bathroom didn't even close properly. For paying $1300 for two nights, I expected a cleaner bathroom, as the bathroom is very important, it makes a guest feel clean, but walking into an outdated & ran down bathroom, makes you feel gross. I was just glad that the room was at least updated and clean.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great with the beach right across the street and lots of restaurants around. Also walking distance to shopping. The pool was small, but clean. Breakfast was fine, but it's exactly the same every day so keep that in mind if you're staying a while. Pricing seems high, but about right for this location.

The bathroom was not very functional. The faucet to the sink was too short so it was nearly impossible not to spill when you wash your hands. Drainage was bad and it seems like there are plumbing issues. The handle on the shower was also very difficult to turn on and required some maneuvering.

The room with separate bedroom and Queen bed was excellent. The staff very friendly and helpful (I had asked to change my room from 1st to 2nd floor to avoid being on the same level as the swimming pool - there weren't lots of people using it though). As for breakfast, there wasn't a huge choice but for a continental one there was a lot (different cereal, bagels, toast, croissants, mini-muffins, yogurths, boiled eggs, ham and cheese), all this with nice oldies music in the background. And something I REALLY must mention: I have never seen a place where the staff kept the breakfast room so clean, amazing - Thank you!

At breakfast you used disposable plates which seems a lot of waste to me, even though they were made of recycled material.

Our son plays football at SBCC so this location is perfect for us to stay at when we come down for games or when we just miss him him so much. I love that it’s right across from the beach with a nice paved trial for running or walking. it’s also walking distance to many restaurants and the boardwalk. They have a breakfast which is included in rate and they also have a happy hour on certain days. For those families visiting their SBCC students, it’s a two minute drive to school and stadium. I believe you can walk but we always drive. Pool is nice and heated. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever come across anyone other than that.

The breakfast gets a tad bit monotonous but it works for a quick bite early in morning (after your beach walk/run) and then you can walk to Chad’s Cafe for some delicious pancakes and a Bloody Mary,

Great hotel, felt more like it was 4-stars. Very friendly staff, communicated with me over texts for arrival information and what not. Parking lot is big and patrolled and complimentary. The continental breakfast for quite a bit better than what American hotels typically offer. And the location is quiet nice too.

The only issue I would say is you hear road noise quite a bit; the windows should have been double pane. And another side problem were the pillows. Probably the fattest and firmest pillows I've ever seen, hard to sleep on and makes you wake up with some neck pain/stiffness.

I was promised a tub even texted was acknowledged at front desk - would need to move to upstairs others taken even though asked in initial registration. - will call next time. t.v & clock radio not working - had to wait on very nice everything man to fix- rooms should be checked before check in to all amenities requested & listed.

This was the best accommodation we stayed in so far in California. Pool is clean, beds are comfortable and shower head has an intense pressure. Nearby to all restuarants and a 20 minute walk to the shops. Free parking and breakfast! Very good security lock down and it has a fan on the ceiling.

In room 106 a constant noise from the fridge or the pipes from the water which ran all day and night. Also if anyone is coming from Europe, double beds are a bit smaller in general where ever you stay for sharing.

Night receptionist was SUPER friendly. after a long drive It makes a huge difference to be welcome by somebody with a smile and super helpful. I was able to charge the EV overnight that was very convenient. Room was fine. You can walk right into the beach walk, and it is just 1/2 a mile from the pier. breakfast was correct.

Morning staff not very friendly, and borderline rude. I guess some people cannot be bothered by clients.

The continental breakfast was perfect….we appreciated the hard boiled eggs the first morning. The second morning, there was potato salad instead of hard boiled eggs….that was odd and we definitely preferred the hard boiled eggs they had on the first morning. The fresh fruit and deli meats/ cheese slices were great.

The only thing that could have been improved upon was more frequent checks of the complimentary hot water for the tea and hot chocolate. It was lukewarm every time I went to use it, and wasn’t hot enough to steep the tea on the rainy days when we needed it! Other than that, no complaints at all! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to Chris at the front desk for being so warm and welcoming and helping us with recommendations!! Thank you to Barbara at the front desk, as well, for being kind and helpful holding our luggage after checkout until we were ready to leave Santa Barbara that evening.
