Really enjoyed the location of this property. The grounds had many seating venues spread throughout the property. Upon returning from dinner, the property was lighted beautifully with many fire pits ablaze-a welcome amenity considering it was windy, cool, and a bit rainy during our stay.

Although the rooms were nicely appointed, I do wish the guest rooms had a couple of chairs for lounging. When returning to hotel after a long day on your feet, the only place to sit is on the bed itself. There was a desk chair, but not a place for extended seating. It was nice to be able to step outside and utilize the courtyard seating areas, but not really an option when it’s raining. Also, because it’s an older facility (although beautifully renovated and maintained), the walls are thin and you hear everything. Not the hotels fault, just an FYI.

Great location. Right across from the beach and pier. Well kept resort grounds and facilities, and very charming. A bit older feeling but we liked that about it. Just around the corner from some GREAT restaurants and bars.

The staff did not seem overly friendly anytime we interacted with them at the desk. We were enjoying a drink by the fireplace outfront and being respectful, and they came out at 11pm promptly with no warning and turned the fire places off. They didn't ask us to leave though, and again didn't give warning or ask how long we may be. Why they didn't just let us finish our drinks prior to turning off the fire still baffles me. They were there all night and could have just waited to see us leave.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the room was so nice and clean! Great location, especially if you're into birds, as a lot can be seen at Ambassador Park, which is right next to the building my room was in! Great blue herons nest in the trees there! Lots of nice places to hang outside & enjoy the view.

There are definitely other hotels that are similarly nice, but a bit cheaper. You're definitely paying for location, but if you're willing to splurge I think it's worth it.

The room was spacious and very clean. No views, but I wasn't expecting one. You are literally right across the street from the beach, so I few steps outside gives you amazing views. The bed was very comfy too. The staff was excellent - friendly and helpful! The outdoor spaces were clean and welcoming.

It's not a secure property (no gates to enter the courtyard and hotel rooms) which wasn't a concern until we saw a man walking across the lawn with what turned out to be a machete. That was a little unnerving, although it seemed the staff handled it right away.

The location is prime. You can see the beach from the property and you are close to nice places for breakfast and the funk zone. The pool and hot tub made things very relaxing and we loved the free bikes!

Facilities did feel a bit dated and we had to walk through areas that were being worked on with toilets in front of them and trash bags etc. To get to our room we had to go by the laundry and cleaning areas. May have just been our area but it brings down the vacation feel a bit.

The location was fantastic. The outside seating area was excellent. The staff were all helpful and responsive.

The rooms were underwhelming and in need of renovation and some TLC. We had two rooms in our party and both were stale, with a mildew smell. The décor was older and IMO, not on par with the nightly rates. Also, we could constantly hear the people in neighboring rooms and outside so the walls/floors are thin.

I liked how close to the beach the hotel is, I liked the firepits out front of hotel , we sat out there on our last evening. I would like an upstairs room next time we visit and not so close to the pool where we hear everything. I liked that we could get beach chairs from hotel and sit on the beach. We always like eating at Chad's cafe.

We didn't like having our room right in front of the pool , we can hear everyone until 10pm. Suggestion, maybe only put people over in that area that travel with children. One of the days our room didn't get cleaned, we had to ask for more towels, cups and creamer for coffee.

I love the location. We walked to the beach and to have dinner. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean

The Valet. You leave your car in the front and have to walk to your room. Then the Valet ended up parking our car rt next to our room. We struggling taking our things to the room when we can have just parked next to our room. Or they could have told us they were parking in that area so we could have taken our things out near the room.

Hotel Milo is right on the waterfront close to restaurants and cafes. The staff are very friendly, check in was a breeze. We were greeted with a special card and Prosecco in our room for our Honeymoon which was a beautiful touch and wonderful surprise. The room was cleaned daily. Gym was perfectly sized and the jacuzzi was very relaxing.

Thin windows and doors which meant you could hear people walking/ talking outside. Ear plugs at night fix this problem.
