The room was wonderful. I could see the Boardwalk from my window and the sunset from the balcony was mesmerizing. The bed was very comfortable. The room featured a large TV, ice bucket, toiletries (makeup towel and wipes were very thoughtful), a microwave, a fridge, and an electronic fireplace!!! There was also free coffee in the lobby downstairs. The building itself was gorgeous: the stained glass, the staircase... I also liked the electronic keypad for security but it was a little hard to navigate it with acrylic nails.
The garbage trucks came in very late at night as well as very early in the morning. So instead of the advertised sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves, I was woken up by them.

Perfect location comfortable and spacious!
The door in my room would click back and forth all day/night because of the wind I had the window open this was in ste 12. It was annoying but I eventually got used to it! That was my only complaint!

Classic 1890 Victorian home, beautifully restored. I was in an attic room two flights of stairs up (no lift on site). Watch your head in this room, it has an angled ceiling. Room comes with a mini fridge and microwave. Water provided in the room; coffee, tea, more water, and sodas provided in the lobby/foyer. No food at all. Reception was pleasant but desk person seemed confused about how to turn on the gas fireplace and did not offer tom show me how to do it. There are no keys; it is all by numeric codes to the lock. Almost no electric outlets in the room. Furniture in the room modern and neutral. Very nice bathroom with rainshower but weak water pressure. Lots of parking on site.
Not enough electric outlets in the room, one almost hidden behind the bed, another behind the mini fridge. Somewhat weak water pressure in the shower.

We liked that the Inn was a restored Victorian House built in 1890. We liked the thoughtfulness of the Receptionist (Lili?) to move us from the tiny reserved Economy Queen to a better sized room for two. I felt very comfortable with our stay there.
It is an old wooden house, so stomping was a common noise. We were there for two nights, and we were surprised that our bed was not remade while we were out. There was an endless supply of coffee, but it was in a common area and one had to be willing to be seen in jammies and unmade to obtain coffee in the morning.

Wonderful little Inn. Great location and price. Staff was very kind. Loved that no one under 21 allowed! Coffee and soda complementary in main building. Very clean and lots of attention to detail. The grounds of the Inn were well maintained and during the spring would be an area I would certainly relax in. Others have complained about the size of the rooms but the reality is you are staying at a historic inn, rooms are shown in photos and beds a available in queen size. For an Inn this was a great little spot and we will return.
Room 15 needs a new matress. Bed was very uncomfortable. There is a smell in the annex building common area but NO smell in the room itself.

Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, good coffee service, large refrigerator, friendly staff, relatively close to beach. We stayed in the annex house which had a convenient dining room table. We liked the historic nature of the main house. The main staff person (owner?) also made a special trip from off-site to bring us extra towels.
The foot of the bed frame in our room had protruding corners that were potentially dangerous as a trip hazard. We pulled the mattress out to make it harder for us to run into. The hotel was informed when we checked out. Also, shower water took a REALLY long time to get warm, so we had to run it a long time before getting in. Finally, the driveway for the parking area by our room was quite narrow and difficult to navigate.

The room was spacious and very well appointed. the staff / owners were extremely friendly. Clearly they put a lot of effort into the remodel and it showed. I particularly appreciated the jacuzzi and other bathroom amenities, including double sink and plenty of vanity space. We had a wonderful time during our stay!
One very small piece of feedback is that while we enjoyed the small table and chairs in the bay window, they seemed a little bit too large for the space. A round table might have been a better use of space. But again, this is a minor detail.

The inn is a beautifully restored Victorian, tastefully furnished and meticulously clean. There was ample parking though we mostly walked since the downtown area and restaurants are only a 10-minute walk. The bathroom fan worked well, the water pressure was terrific and the (basic) toiletries were plentiful. We loved the little display case showcasing many interesting items found during the remodel.
Our room was under the eaves, with a sloped roof (no elevator). The shade attempting to cover the skylight didn't work at all and we were awakened far too early by the light. The bed was soft but quite uncomfortable. Our friend's room was on the ground floor and her upstairs neighbors kept her up a good part of the night, which seems to point to poor insulation. We noticed a lot of car noises where we were. That said, I'd be more selective in the room options but would definitely stay there again!

The Inn is gorgeous and has a ton of personality. It's location is awesome. It's right between the downtown and the boardwalk/beach. Everything was walking distance. Despite what people said about parking, it was easy if you have a regular sized car. SUVs may be more difficult to park, but sedans are easy. I loved the lobby area. It was a nice place to hang out. I also would have loved the front area with outside seating if it weren't for the dumping rain! We had both the downstairs rooms, which were very spacious. Our friends were able to get their fireplace working, which was really nice, but we weren't. We also didn't get a chance to ask for help. :)
We were in the front room and there was a rocking chair right outside our window. People would forget that we were inces away from their conversations! The road noise was pretty loud in our room. Our friends said that the people over their heads were extremely loud and kept them up.

The coziness of the property was part of the reason I love staying here. Not to mention the location, I can walk to downtown and the boardwalk in about 10 minutes! There’s also parking there so you don’t have to worry about finding parking in random places. Lily at the front desk was so kind, she even gave me a bigger room at no extra charge, as it was available :) she was super helpful and accommodating and helped us in any way she could.
There is not anything I didn’t like about the property.
