We loved the location of the resort and how remote it is. You can hear the actual "nothing", it's so peaceful. Best sleep away from home. The bed was comfortable, we can set the heating for whatever we needed. The tiny kitchenette and sink is just perfect for a few nights away. Launa at the resort was very responsive and helped us out during our stay. They also have a 24/7 cell that you can call if you needed anything while the office was closed.

I am such a clumsy person and I felt like the shower cabin was extremely slippery. Just be aware, that's all.

We loved to quite, wildlife, the one room cabins are very nice, BBQ was perfect, loved the little jokes posted around the property. They had so much for us to do there we didn’t need to go anywhere else, played pool, cornhole, table tennis, table games, swam, hot tub!

Not so steep of hills hahaha, we are older but thank God they had roads to drive around.

The resort is quaint and nicely tucked into the woods. The pool and hot tub are pretty and clean. It is tucked away from the main road, so it is quiet and serene. There is a bbq at each cabin and ample parking.

The showers/bathrooms are tiny. I am 5’5” and the shower was barely tall enough for me to fit under the stream. They do not not provide any bathroom amenities, but this was not shared with me when I booked. There was no soap in the bathroom! I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner, but how does any accommodation not provide soap or body gel without notification? Bring your own.

Loved the rustic historic buildings and grounds, very tastefully updated while retaining the warm, inviting charming character. Although too cold to swim, we enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful pool and grounds. Entire property is relaxed…no dead bolts, open viewing of unused cottages, loads of games, antiques, and gathering rooms.

Lower wattage, warm-white LED bulbs. Current bulbs are inappropriately strong glaring and cold…the really ruin the ambiance inside and out. An employee did, however, replace our bulbs with warm light at our request and added a new soft blanket at our request. But bulb wattage was still too high.

It was so beautiful and the pool and club house so welcoming and has historic charm. The room was perfect for my husband and I. It seemed like we were the only ones there. It was a such a wonderful experience. We drank coffee on the porch, walked up to the clubhouse.. This will be our new traditional way to relax and reconnect. Thank you!

If you like wonderful swimming pools in the forest, hot tubs, ping-pong and pool table, it’s easily a 10! The grounds are really enjoyable, the small cabin was pretty cute and clean, the bed really confortable. We loved it!

The only thing I could say is we were kind of lost when we arrived. We followed Google maps and we arrived by the wrong road so we missed the resort’s signs. Just be aware and don’t trust Google maps!

It was beautiful. Amazing retreat.

The room says it comes fully stocked with the basic dishes but there were barely any. We made due with what we had and it was fine. Also the coffee pot sucked. But that’s okay too because the scenery and the rest of the place was top tier.

The beauty of the surrounding woods was breathtaking. The clubhouse was perfect for reading, pool playing and big screen tv watching! uncrowded while we were there and very laid back. Deer, birds and wildlife were fun to watch from the little table on our outdoor patio. We also enjoyed some of our meals on the patio. The resort is close to many historical places; Pinecrest, Dodge Ridge, Sonora, Columbia, and other Gold Country towns.

Liked it very much, wished we had brought our swim suits because the hot tub , spa looked so inviting.

This property is quite gorgeous and a wonderful get away from busy city life. The pool and hottub area was exceptional & very relaxing, the small cottage we stayed in was just the perfect size. Bed was very comfortable, nice desk and bench area to set things down inside the door, lots of coat hangers which was very helpful. Kitchenette was also very nice, did not expect at all a set of silverware or dish ware/cups to have to use and came in very handy. There was even a toaster!

My only complaint is the size of the tv, I do understand however people do not come to get away and just watch tv, it would’ve been nice however to be able to see it better from the bed.

Cosy cabin, clean, good heating and clean bathroom

Difficult to get it It’s quite far from Yosemite National Park, at least a 1 hour drive to entrance. We arrived after dark, had difficulty finding our cabin. Instructions given were not clear.
