It was a family-owned business and it had a charm to it. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom and bed area was clean. Coffee was available.

Room was small - a bit cramped at times - but we worked it out just fine. The TV system was for the birds. Most of the channels we tried indicated that we were not eligible to receive them - and there was no list of those that we available - a lot of 'hit and mostly miss.' The young man came to check it out and told us just to 'work through it.' We did. A bit disappointing - but ... we weren't there for TV anyway.

I really love the mini kitchenette. It's so helpful when you have been on the road. The bed was really comfortable. I love the location. Wonderful bike trails by the river. It was our 2nd time staying here

The first time we stayed, the WiFi worked perfectly in the room. This last visit, it wasn't working in the room. I told the owner, he said to go outside and see if it works from the Gazebo. We did that but it still didn't work inside. It seems like it would be easy to get an extender so it would work in the rooms. I also asked for the freezer to get defrosted so you can fit more stuff in there.

Breakfast wasn't provided and I didn't expect it. Location was at far end of town but not too far from historical downtown. Town park and river walk is very close, where I spent most of my time. Beds were older but still comfortable. Room was very clean, decent water pressure in shower. Ice machine on property. Liked parking in front of my door. If you're cool with not staying at a fancy hotel, this is a good place to stay.

A newer, pillow top mattress would be nice but really have no complaints.

Small motel with friendly owners. They had a motorcycle wash area which was very much appreciated as we drove in from Texas. Comfortable bed! Area to grill as there was no oven in our room. Trolly stop within walking distance.

No oven. Large step at door...watch your step coming out of #12. We had good parking but I did notice all the rooms on the side have slanted parking..no way to park a motorcycle. They do have flat parking at the road..you just wouldnt be able to keep and eye on your bike. Ask for a back room if you need somewhat decent parking. Dont bring a trailer..there is no room for that.

I was extremely happy because I booked this for my son for Christmas gift so he could go snowboarding and he arrives solo and everybody at the hotel was great. Winston was fabulous and my son really liked it. It was actually extremely nice which I didn’t expect he found a great place to eat that had a bunch of variety and was super cheap so I appreciate you Colorado.!!

Exceptional staff and the motel overall has its own charm and character. Simple basic motel, but extra clean, organized and accommodating. Our room had a full kitchenette, eating area, mini fridge, cups, plates and eating utensils.. literally went from the double tree to this motel and I'd much rather spend my time at the Caboose. Cheers!

It was great. I look forward to spending another great weekend there as a little get away. No complaints, great staff and fabulous property.

I truly love this little family motel. It has so much character and it's a little gem. Places like this are becoming more and more rare. The king bed was super comfy It had plenty of spaces for your stuff a tiny little closet and some shelves were quite appreciated The refrigerator was considerably spacious which was helpful for us. I also liked the screens on windows and loved the kitchenette!!!

Freezer needed to be defrosted. Inconsiderate neighbor who started his noisy car in the morning and just sat there on his phone. Obviously this was not the motel's fault.

Was overall a great stay! Staff were friendly and location was great.

Heater was broken in room so it was very cold, luckily we were there for snowboarding so we had layers. The door was also really hard to shut and was not able to lock the deadbolt from the inside. This made leaving a little worrisome that our room could be Broken into.

Nice clean hotel. Short 5 minute drive to downtown, however, still walking distance to a coffee shop (next door), Texas BBQ, and a grocery store. Quiet area, which is why choose this hotel. Also because I prefer to stay in non-chain hotels when given the opportunity, and support local businesses.

Nothing.

Incredibly quaint. Great location in Durango. That is was 3 generations in same family was impressive.

The only thing was a structural one that is incredibly minor. There are a high step to enter/exit the room. Because my gentleman is cane-driven and I’m not a spring chicken this was cumbersome.
