Seriously one of the best little places we have stayed. Super clean, nice spacious room, cute western decor. The staff was so kind and helpful. We didn't even realize that breakfast was included but was a nice continental style breakfast in the morning. Met the best people. We loved the balcony on the river and enjoyed direct access to the 2 mile river walk loop. It is a little outside of town but a super short drive to main streets. We enjoyed several meals downtown but also stumbled on a great little restaurant on our river walk that we walked to for dinner. Had no expectations but was a wonderful meal and love a walkable option. Will stay here again on our next time in Ouray.

The family-owned Hot Springs Inn exceeded our expectations, and we did not want to leave! We seriously contemplated cancelling our next destination to stay longer. Our room was located on the north end building and it was heavenly sleeping with the window open and listening to the sound of the rushing river. The beds were extremely comfy and staff helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening which was much-needed after hiking. The river trail into town was perfect and you pop out at a huge park beside the public pool/baths. One night there was a free concert in the park and it was magical watching the moon rise above the mountains while enjoying music and people-watching. The only thing lacking at the inn is that they could have additional towel racks in the bathroom and some sort of stand or shelf inside the shower to put shampoo etc. We hope one day to return to this lovely town and inn.

Would love for the hot tub cover to block the parking area instead of the river, but don't really think that can change.

The location was within walking distance to the pool, restaurants and town. The room was cozy and backed up to the river. We were able to enjoy the river from the balcony during the day and sleep with the sound of rushing water at night.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. It was a continental breakfast with options like cereal, small bagels and hard boiled eggs. We opted to eat in a restaurant, which never cost less than $50. So if you’re not a big breakfast person the inn is okay, but for breakfast people you may have to spend extra money.

Location, tubs, beautiful landscaping! This was a last-minute booking and we were grateful for it. On-site vehicle rentals were a convenient added bonus. While they initially refused, restaurant staff eventually allowed me to take a breakfast-to-go container up to my husband, who is disabled after a stroke. (Our room was on the second floor, and those stairs were rough for him.) The hotel may wish to consider such issues more proactively and offer alternatives or accommodations to guests in advance.

Overpriced drinks at Tiki bar & lots of noise in the morning (repairs/maintenance) while trying to relax at the pools. Consider last point above.

The room was clean and the beds are very comfortable the balcony has a beautiful view of the river. It’s close to town and the hot springs. The first night was peaceful and relaxing very quiet and we slept great.

The front desk is hardly ever “manned” meaning we went for coffee and it was closed we called down to the office at 2am to complain of a noise situation and it was never resolved because no one was there. They were almost empty but still decided it was a good idea to rent out the room above us to someone who had a “service” animal. The dog was barking, chasing a ball, and running all night from 2am until 4am then again at 7am I called down to the office several times and no one ever answered. When I called in the morning to let them know she just said she would take care of it. But nothing to us to compensate for a lousy night of no sleep! I was upset since it was supposed to be a relaxing trip for rest but we didn’t get any rest on our second night there.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. We had to check out at 3am and they let us pick up breakfast the night before. The view from our deck was nice and we would have enjoyed the river walk if we had been able to stay longer.

The water pressure was weak (maybe not their fault). The hot water was just barely warm enough for a shower. That was disappointing after a week of camping. Parking spaces are cramped and they allowed people to park trailers in the most convenient spaces.

The beds were very comfortable, there was a private deck overlooking the river, the shower was awesome! There is a 2 mile Riverwalk behind the hotel that is perfect for a run or stroll. And you can fall asleep to the sound of the water flowing. Walkable distance to the Hot Springs and friendly staff.

We loved everything! The continental breakfast was good for a quick bite- donut holes, cereal, breads, and frozen burritos but for a day exploring I would head out for a more filling meal. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was unbelievable. The staff made us feel like we were family. The location was right along the riverwalk and was very close to all the restaurants. The rooms were clean and decorated so nice. Having a balcony right near the river was AMAZING. The breakfast, while simple, had many delicious pastries, yogurt, cereal, and breakfast burritos. This hotel was one of 6 different hotels we stayed at during our southern colorado tour, but it was by far our FAVORITE.

It is a little bit outside of Ouray, like 1-2 Minutes, and because of that it is quiet. When we entered the Office, we felt directly different, the whole Office is comfortable and warmly decorated, and the personnel was very friendly and helpful. Inside our Room, we felt the exact same! There was so much love to details and it felt and looked overwhelmingly comfortable. We had a Room with a Balcony, to the back where you could hear and see the lake, it was gorgeous BUT if you closed the door in your room, you could not hear the lake anymore and it wouldn't bother you.

I think that the price for one night, for two people was a bit high but that is all I could “complain” about.

We love, love, love this place! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Has laundry facility on site. Great breakfasts included. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Room was decorated so nice. The balcony off the room facing the stream was beautiful!

Only thing I could suggest is to add a shelf in the shower so that your shampoo and soap doesn't have to be picked up from the floor.
