they gave us a free room upgrade. this place is very unique and has roof top dining with live music! our room had a private balcony, a perfect place to enjoy the view and star gazing. perfect and private for our wedding anniversary. definitely a gem. We really loved our room and the property as a whole. the breakfast muffins were to die for! would definitely recommend!

the jacuzzi in our room was on the fritz, but it was a free upgrade so can't complain.

Very spacious rooms and king beds! The private hot tub was a nice surprise. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very quiet.

A little run down, but they were in the process of remodeling it. No temperature control, so overly hot during the day and cold at night. Space heaters help. Staff did not seem too knowledgeable about area restaurants.

I absolutely love this place! I read and am completely aware about the mixed reviews. May I remind you this is an unique boutique hotel - not a modern hotel??? I m not letting their little flaws and squeaky noises (I m deaf anyway) become issues for me - I embrace it and their unique beauty. Customer services were attentive and have checked in with us ensuring our stay was satisfactory and pleasant. When I expressed a concern or requested something kindly, they are able to reciprocate. Being kind and tactful is the key. Chaco Canyon room was beautiful, comfortable and has special touches. I loved the woven butterfly mat over the little window boxes which subtly glowed in our room nightly. I m definitely coming back and will stay again as long their hot pools open!

Their hot pools were closed for two weeks - I still do not understand they were opened before and will open. All other hot pools were opened at that time. This can be easily managed by limiting guests in group. I understand they were ordered to comply covid regulations and have no control over. But this should be given to us - we decide and choose how we manage our risks not theirs. I actually wanted their pools - not elsewhere. I was pleasantly surprised to receive two complimentary passes to one of the hot springs in Ouray - but my friend and I passed.

The room was cute. The hot tub was lovely.

Stairs were uneven and handrails were too wide and hard to hold on to. Lighting in the room was hard to figure out. The ribs and pork chops were a bit too chewy but the staff was nice in the restaurant. Berry crisp and wine was good.

I liked the town. The Teepee courtyard was cute. The lobby was gorgeous with lush indoor trees. The hot tub was good sized but a bit hard to get out of.

The pool was just 80 degrees which is a bit cold and I wish the on site snow removal were better. I never got the fireplace to work, when showing the room to guests demonstrating the fireplace use would be helpful.

The best place to stay! So different and unique architecture. Love the swimming pool and hot tub, awesome room, excellent living room and kitchen. Very clean, good bed, comfortable pillow.

The staff was very friendly upon check-in. The room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. At the end of every days adventuring we relaxed with a glass of wine in the hot tub on our patio. So peaceful.

Hard to find a dislike so, I’ll just say if there was anything I would like to have had a microwave and a baking sheet for the oven. They did not have room service so we made breakfast ourselves and needed a pan for biscuits. Like I said, hard to find a real issue.

There was no breakfast. The restaurant was closed both days that I was booked for. I was a bit disappointed but the hotel referred us to some of the local restaurants.

I just wish that the restaurant was open.

The location itself, the spa area, especially the hot pool. The architecture of the hotel is really nice. I like this kind of pueblo style. Also the great size of the room/apartment was not expected

Quiet, hot tub was nice, we enjoyed the firepit for smores. Good location. Nice walking distance to the park, stores and restaurants. Liked the southwestern theme and teepees. Mountain views were beautiful. Room for the most part was clean. Outdoor pool is heated and not over crowded. Covered hot tub so it stayed clean from debris. Wifi works good, in case your phone doesn't have good service. Has jetted tub, full size fridge and gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, furnished utensils, dishes and cookware

The first night we stayed in our room it was hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. We opened windows and didn't have a screen on one of the windows also that same window didn't lock. The second night I requested an a/c to be installed which made it better but a/c didn't work as good as it should have. Pool was dirty from the overhanging trees so I had to clean it with their net. Some dishes were dirty and not cleaned very good so we had to rewash them before use.
