The staff was very nice. Great location. We walked everywhere. Pool area was excellent. We stopped in at a few hotels & The Edge had by far the best pool area. We loved the rooftop bar & grill. Great food! Rooms were very nice. We had a view of the pool & the Gulf. Breakfast was included which is a plus. Very pleased. Would definitely go there again.

Spacious rooms.

There was no gym in which I thought I chose a hotel with a gym. Restaurant only served breakfast—had to go other places for lunch and dinner. Beach was in walking distance but I thought it was beach front.

As a local resident of Pinellas County, I was impressed and enjoyed my stay at The Edge. I booked a room (King) because the office Christmas party was next door at another hotel. I believe I got the better deal for the price. From the beautifully decorated Lobby to the hallways that didn’t have that “interior hotel hallway” smell, and the bed & pillows that felt like clouds, it was well worth the price. And we had a balcony! I wish our stay was longer because I didn’t know about all the wonderful amenities included in the Resort fee. Also I didn’t know the pools were heated! I guess reading is fundamental lol. If you’re reading this and trying to decide, choose this one and book it. The front desk staff was friendly. Housekeeping and facilities were very friendly and helpful. I was like tipsy coming back from the party, they made sure I made it to right floor on the elevator lol. We listen and we don’t judge.

If you love cereal, the free breakfast is for you. Please upgrade the breakfast area. The danish was a little dry. The bagel was good though!

The gulf view room was beautiful. The room was clean, housekeeping serviced room daily. The location was convenient and walking distance to lots of things in the area.

I did not like that I was charged an additional fee for breakfast daily added on my room. The breakfast selection was horrible. Wasn’t much of a real breakfast . Breakfast area closed at 10a.m & I was unaware of the time. I went in for 9:45a.m & the guy standing there collecting tickets cut the lights off on my family at 10a.m while we were getting the little breakfast selection items they had available. We received the items in the dark which was unacceptable being that we entered before closing time & paid to have that mess.

The room was clean and quiet. Was outside from elevator, couldn’t hear anything, no doors slamming either.the pool area was very nice as well. The property was clean, breakfast was good.

Get rid of the amenity fee. People pay a lot for the rooms and gratuity already, continental or hot breakfasts are included in most hotels. My pricing when I booked said it includes the amenity fee. When I got there I had to pay. The hotel should have honored that. Having no no amenity fee avoids these things that people are not expecting

I really enjoyed my small weekend trip. Breakfast was awesome and had all the essentials. The fresh grapefruits were the best! The pool has an incredible view, we found ourself at the pool the whole day… who needs the beach! The bar by the pool was nice; and having the restaurant on the top floor was nice. We didn’t have to leave the hotel for a whole day because it had everything we needed. (Which is helpful after a long travel day) The rooms were super clean, including the balcony!! We will defiently be back!

The shower pressure was my only flaw of this hotel. I felt myself showering double the time just To be able to rinse the soap off. The AC unit worked very well, but it was super loud and woke me up everytime it kicked on. (But I’m also a light sleeper) Also, i think there should be complimentary water in the hotel lobby.

Location was great! Killer sunset!! To go breakfeast was a bonus and we'll run!

Glass in small edge pool a bit dirty with scumline hard so too see out; hallway and elevator air conditioner not working but was working in our room.

The breakfast was chaotic. Not that good. Ran out of coffee. I have had much better at Comfort Inn.

Great breakfast included. Awesome view from the balcony room in the Gulf side and most spacious 2- queen room we've stayed in.

The front desk guy was frankly rude/ arrogant in his tone and replies when we asked questions upon checking in. I came back to the desk 5 minutes later to ask another question, and he was sweet as pie to the older gentleman checking in. I'm in my 40s. Gentleman ahead of me was clearly older. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I'm a woman or younger ( receptionist was definitely younger than me) but there was a distinct difference in his tone and answers between me (40-something year old woman) and an older gentleman (if I had to guess, mid to late 60s. This was the only negative for us. Everything else was great! Will stay again.

Great balcony looking out over the water. Loved watching the boat traffic and even dolphins a couple of times. Nice roof top pool, just a shame that the music never stopped.

Plastic! There is nothing wrong with this hotel, it was very pleasant in an excellent location BUT it is doing nothing to help the environment. Still using the old fashioned small toiletries in the rooms instead of large refillable containers. Plastic straws in every drink instead of paper. The worst culprit was the breakfast room - plastic, polystyrene, throw away EVERYTHING!! Even the long-life fruit salad was in ready made plastic containers - how hard would it be to cut up some fresh fruit?? Hire someone to do the washing up instead of adding to the world's plastic mountain. You should be ashamed in this day and age!
