Right on south beach. It’s very convenient and close to everything. We were able to just walk up and now the strip and toThe beach from the hotel. The food at the restaurant is amazing. It’s clean. The staff is nice and accommodating. I like that they checked in before and during the stay via text message.

A little noisy, but it’s expected due to the busy area. However, the staff caused noise moving around and cleaning. We were right by the exit door and cleaning supplies closet on the first floor. Recommendation: Do not order the huge drink, no one finishes it and it’s a waste of money. Order the smaller sizes.

The location was excellent. Just 5 min to the beach. Also at the beach, there is a free public shower and water. There is no shop on the beach just some people selling cold drinks in their bags. The room was ok. But be aware that there is no small fridge in the room. The restaurant and Hotel are separately running. Lift is available in the hotel. Towels for the beach included. The reception guys were very helpful for any problem. Esscipesialy thanks, Henry. He upgraded our room because we faced some issues with the other one. The breakfast was ok. Restaurant meals were delicious.

There is no separate entrance to the hotel you have to pass always through the restaurant and always crowded. It's really hard to find someone speaking English in the Hotel except for reception.

The location was perfect for us. Still in the classic South Beach scene without being RIGHT in the middle. The building is old, but clean and the majority of things are updated. Breakfast was one of three pre-selected options served at the restaurant downstairs; breakfast lasted until noon which also gave a lot of options. Super close to the beach. Beach towel check outs were available.

I asked for an ocean facing room and got what I asked for! I would caution others that ocean facing is also closest to the noise. Because of the building age, slamming doors in the hallway was a regular occurrence.

The location is PERFECT! The price was very decent compared to many other places and best of all they hold your luggage until check in time if you are early free of charge. The breakfast was amazing. Make sure you ask about it when checking in as they will give you a voucher for it. The rooms were very clean the beds comfy and the air conditioner worker perfect.

Location on South Beach was excellent. Staff was all very friendly.

Due to its small size, don’t bother arriving before check in time. Understandably they can’t accommodate early arrivals. Beds were quite hard but well maintained.

Enjoyed stay in the heart of South Beach. Free breakfast is limited to three choices, but is good.

Original room with "Ocean View" was underwhelming. Rm 351 is at the back of the building and the view is up the alley (where garbage is kept). Additionally, there were roaches in the room, and after the third roach, staff quickly switched use to 302, which had a marvelous view of the ocean.

Of course the location is phenomenal right on Ocean Drive! But what I really like about this property is some of the original architectural details, some of the attention to detail, and some of the staff… That’s what sets this little hotel apart and keeps us coming back. I am travelling for work and there’s obviously plenty of places to stay in the area, but if you are looking for warm fuzzies, give them a try over their competition. Hands down - the F&B team and the housekeeping team are both outstanding! Housekeeping are so friendly and unassuming, yet always there when you need them. The F&B team is one of the most hard working - in tune - and swift teams I have seen, to date! Especially considering the constraints of working in a historical space. I have never seen a food runner be able to manage with such grace what one of their food runners can manage, with such a quiet, humble presence. At the front desk, if you are lucky enough to get Henry checking you in, consider it your start to a great vacation! He was warm, friendly and very personable.

Parking, but that’s a given anywhere on SOBE. so don’t let it deter you. The only suggestion would be cleaning the windows. You’re always going to get salt spray being on the ocean, but I think it would make a difference to guests. Maybe I’m a bit OCD, so it wasn’t an issue for me. I didn’t mind at all, I just cleaned them myself! :) If I keep staying there in different rooms it won’t be a problem, I’ll just clean them all! haha! I love this little unique historic hotel and I’ll keep recommending them to friends and family. :)

the staff was absolutely amazing! lily, new jersey I don't remember her name. they were very accommodating. the food from the restaurant is amazing, breakfast and dinner was great. we didn't dine anywhere else. we extended our stay. so we will be coming baci in July.

update the room. cleaning ladies were nice, but they need to look at corners and detail while cleaning
