Excellent location right on ocean drive

Excellent location and the staff were very accommodating. Let me have an apartment for four days as I checked in early. And allowed me to stay there after cancellations. Also a late check out as my flight wasn’t till 5

The location is perfect, right overlooking south beach on Ocean Drive, Lovely Art Deco building ( a little tired, but is classed as a 3 star ) front desk/host were amazing, early check in, late check out were both granted without fuss. Rooftop pool and balcony looking over the sea were a great surprise. We had the 2 bedroom suite, which we used for 5 adults, lots of space, very large beds, good showers, good A/C and WiFi. Couldn't ask for anything more from a 3* hotel at such a good price.

Nothing, Perfect

Room was bigger than expected and the hotel is right on South Beach, very close to 5th. Perfect for hitting the tourist bars and shops. We arrived during Spring Break on a Sunday and the police presence was impressive. It certainly made the area feel safe. THey're certainly trying to clean up the area from partying. There's a lovely promenade walk, which we took to Lincoln Drive shopping. Loved seeing the random Iguanas walking around.... Apparently they're pests though.

Room wasn't ready on arrival. Admittedly, we were an hour or so earlier than the check-in time, but sometimes you get lucky. Because of Spring break, Ocean Drive was closed to traffic too, not the hotel's fault, but did have to park our rental car with a local Valet, which wasn't cheap.

The hotel's location on Ocean Drive is perfect,the beach is across the road. I can highly recommend the restaurant Jalapeño next to the hotel,lovely food and nice staff. I liked the rooftop pool and my apartment was large. The hotel staff were really nice and helped out if any questions. Lots of restaurants and shops near the hotel.

There was a lot of noise from the Jalapeño restaurant at night,so this is not somewhere to stay if you like it more quiet. The hotel could use a little make over,as it was a little dated. But all in all it was clean and nice!

The room was very big! The marble floors and marble in the bathroom was a nice touch, as was the bathtub! A very tall mirror in the bedroom was excellent for planning our outfits. The natural light from big sliding glass doors was wonderful! The room overall was a comfortable temperature during the day. The kitchen looked very nice and was very clean. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the rooftop pool was so relaxing and had a great view! Honestly, this was the perfect location--a few minutes walk from some famous bars and sights in the Art Deco district, and directly across the street from the beach! Many restaurants with late night eats in the area as well, and easy to pick up an Uber.

The walls were a little thin--it was very easy to hear guests in the hallway and in their rooms, especially when they were loud. The pool area was still under construction but open for use. At night, the AC didn't keep the room a comfortable cool--I did have to get up to reset it back to 69 degrees, which was the lowest that the locked thermostat would allow. Also, one of the sliding doors was not able to open-the handle was broken and it was somewhat disappointing as it was the door in the bedroom. A little more decor on the walls in the bedroom would have been more inviting as well.

We had a great stay at The Fritz. Location is excellent, situated on Ocean Drive, one of the most famous beachfront streets in the world. As a result it can be noisy but this wasn't too much of an issue. Staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. We would definitely return

Rooms were equipped for self catering with cooker and microwave etc but with minimal utensils if you actually wanted to prepare meals for yourself so best considered as room only. Air con struggled to keep the bedroom as cool as we would have liked but it was particularly warm when we visited.

So, the great thing about our experience with the Frutz is that we had a midnight flight & were cruising out the next day! We were allowed to stay until boarding time. This location is directly across from Miami Beach letters & Beach access! Our room was perfect for us. The air worked great as well. Mind you all the properties are aged in this area but they took care of us at the Fritz. Also on Friday when we returned, we were lucky enough to land the suite & they allowed us to check in early because of an early check out. We were so thankful because it was sooo hot as this was in July. We slept peacefully most of the day & our room was freezing! My sister said she had to go outside to warm up..lol! I think were in #3 & #5. The staff was great! Very professional & on any trip to Miami, especially just to enjoy the beach or cruising, I would definitely stay with the Fritz! Walking distance to all attractions & night life!

Great Location, in the heart of Miami Beach right in front of the sign. Beautiful view on the ocean. Morning coffee on the balcony tasted better then ever. Room was an actual apartment with a kitchenette. The oven and a stove were missing but a coffee maker, a fridge and a microwave were all there. I would totally recommend this place.

Fantastic location and very helpful pleasant staff. Large, clean appartement. Close to everything. Walgreens around the corner. Tons of restaurants and right across from the beach.

Very minor issue but kitchen supplies in the room could be better. Bring your own bottle opener, corkscrew, sharp cutting knife

Stuff was excellent, informative and polite, Room was clean. Complimentary coffee and tea. Microwave in the room. Close to the beach and main walking street.
