Location was good. Halfway between cruise port and airport. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and facilities great.

The staff were wonderful, Linda in the breakfast room and Sue behind the front desk stood out. The shuttle both from the airport and to the cruise port was friendly and courteous.

There was nothing to dislike that I experienced.

Breakfast area was limited due to construction. The breakfast menu was not very good.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff in charge kept everything fresh, even brought food to people who needed assistance and immediately cleared the area when people were finished eating. Our cruise was delayed and then canceled. the ladies at the front desk made sure everyone was comfortable all afternoon and then when it was canceled and all rooms were booked they made calls to make sure everyone had a place to stay. . One of our group is handicapped and they even went as far as calling guests on the delayed ship to find him a room so he would not have to go to another hotel. They turned what could have been a nightmare into an actual somewhat pleasant experience. Any future cruises out of Tampa will certainly include I stay here! There are also numerous restaurants and grocery stores all within a block or two which was very helpful for an unexpected 2-day stay.

First of all the location is extremely convenient with easy access to the Tampa Int'l Airport as well as all sorts of shopping and food (some within walking distance.) Serving a in-house prepared hot breakfast (between 6:00-9:00 AM) is a great idea for early risers and business people. Rooms are equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine (with supplies) and cable TV with access to major pay channels. Technically one can shop from the Fresh Foods Market about 80 m from their rooms and dine in.

Breakfast was good, more than we expected - pastries and breads, yogurt, eggs, bacon, waffles. The room was comfortable, but dated. The shuttle to the cruise port was a good deal. Good location in walking distance of shops and restaurants. We also used the complimentary shuttle from the airport, although they never did answer us as to how to get the shuttle and someone at the airport had to inform us. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

The room seemed a little dirty, but that could be because they are in the midst of renovations. Could probably use more staff or more organization in the breakfast area on cruise days. The lone attendant was trying her best to keep up, but with so many people there it was a bit chaotic.

The lobby was recently renovated and looked beautiful. The hotel was within easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Nice pool and hot breakfast. The shuttle to the airport was clean and appeared to be a new van. Driver was very nice. Front desk staff was very nice upon check in. Shuttle to the airport was free but the shuttle to the cruise port was $10 per person, despite being previously told it was $8 per person. It was cheaper for us to take an Uber to the cruise port so that's what we did.

Minor detail but on the second floor there were a few steps right off the elevator that was difficult to carry a 50lb luggage bag up and down. No big deal for us but could be for someone else.

Hotel is located in an area that offers everything you need. Lots of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Check in was easy and fast. Breakfast was tasty with lots of selections. Staff was professional and constant to maintain cleanliness of the areas. Shuttle was great and the driver provided lots of information about the areas around Tampa during our ride to the airport. What is normally a stressful time for me (anticipating the flights) was made fun and entertaining by the shuttle driver (I wish I could remember his name as he deserves recognition). Also recognition to Sandy (I believe this was her name. She has blond hair and a beautiful smile) the front desk receptionist who organized our shuttle to the airport. Don't be 'put off' by the location as it is an older hotel because the hotel is well maintained and safe.

Only thing I didn't like was when we checked in, the hotel receptionist that checked me in stated that all we had to do was come down for the shuttle and it would take us to the airport (after 1030 am). When we double checked in the morning, we were told that the shuttles were all 'booked' and that they didn't have a ride for us. Sandy, (I believe this was her name. She has blond hair and a beautiful smile)the morning person, was fantastic. She realized that we were told incorrect information and suggested an alternative, which we accepted. We rode with the 'cruise' people and was taken to the airport after dropping them off. Worked out great as we got to see parts of Tampa that we normally wouldn't have seen. Big big thanks to Sandy.

Great location, clean and comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast and coffee available at all times in the lobby.

Our room was on the 2nd floor. There were four steps from the elevator down to the walkway in front of our room. My husband has difficulty walking and with stairs. The staff was very helpful when we left in the morning and carried our suitcases up the stairs. We should have asked for a handicap accessible room when making our reservation.

Ms. Linda was the servicer for our morning breakfast and she was outstanding. She was helpful in make sure we had what we need in the way of hot food food and coffee.

The shuttle to the hotel arrived within the allotted time. The next day, we also took it to the cruise ship. Both drivers were kind and knowledgeable about the location and restaurants in the area.
