We loved how quaint the lodges were. The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace. Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything. Location was perfect for our son at Young Harris College. Views were amazing We will definitely be returning.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like but there was a big tree outside our balcony blocking our view of the lake which would’ve been lovely to look out at.

Front desk staff was excellent! Location and lake view was excellent! Common areas were decorated for the holidays. The fireplace in the lobby was beautiful especially with Lake Chatuge in the background. The free breakfast had lots of options. Everything seemed clean and organized. The bed was really comfortable and I can usually never get comfortable in a hotel bed. The room had a nice layout. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back!

The absolute only negative was that the vent in our bathroom didn't work.

Staff was great. Room was a bit outdated but exceptionally clean. Each room had a balcony which two chairs and a small table which was nice. We chose Lake Chatuge because we wanted to be close to the Georgia Fairgrounds for a concert the night of our stay.. Come to find out there is a short trail at the back of the property that leads you to the parking lot of the Fairgrounds. The walk to the parking lot couldn't have been more than 5 minutes. So easy..

Nothing. It met our expectations for what we stayed there for.

Very friendly staff and convenient to beach at the lake, park next door and walking distance, nearby shops and places to eat. Perfect view in room 308 of lake. Wildlife everywhere. We viewed fox and other wildlife from our room.

Bit dated on blankets, decor, small tv. Missing microwave. Breakfast was bland and needs elevated to warm meals every day. Can't go to the upper deck viewing unless you have a meeting.This should be open to guests. Little smelly in hallways.

OH MY GOSH! We were there for the Blackberry Smoke concert (Christmas gift for my boyfriend). He loved he was within walking distance of the venue. I was sick so I stayed at the Lodge. I fell in love the second I walked in the lobby and then when I got to room 314 I literally gasped when I saw the view! Mountains had a tad of snow on top. View was postcard worthy! We will be back when we can stay longer. Breakfast was ok. Pretty much standard but very much appreciated. Would like to have had a sr discount but not available on weekends . Folks were so incredibly nice.

Location. Right next to Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds with a beautiful view of mountains and lake. The common area was nicely furnished and decorated. The continental breakfast had some healthy choices available, including gluten-free. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a back door exit/ entry to the parking lot from our room.

The room was fine for overnight but needs to be updated. It needs some more electrical outlets. The bathroom had a slight odor of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The bathroom needs some more lighting in the toilet area, and some renovation needs to be completed on the ceiling and wallpaper.

The view was incredible!!!! We could see mountains and the lake from our room. The staff here, especially the lady who checked us in late Friday night, was so sweet! Never seen friendlier staff at a hotel. Will definitely come back here with my kids!

The walls in room were pretty gross looking, marks all over them. There was some mold in the bathroom on wall. Stink bugs were everywhere but i think that’s bc of the back porch door being left open by someone. I could feel the springs in our mattresses and they were not comfortable at all.

The staff were welcoming and efficient. The property is an excellent value. Reasonably priced with comfortable beds and clean rooms. Down home feel without pretense or attitude. The den and patio was magnificent and the view of the lake and mountains a welcomed treat. The continental breakfast was appreciated with a wide variety of foods and excellent coffee! My fellow guest also expressed their appreciation of the property. The location couldn’t be better to town and sporting activities. Excellent value and a welcoming environment.

I’m an old fashioned traveler and somewhat disabled. A bellman or someone to help the handicap would be nice but it’s a different world today !

The staff was amazing! My thirteen year old niece left her Nintendo switch at the lodge. We did not realize it until we return back home, I immediately reached out to the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Bob who was the front desk attendant on duty at the time, stated that housekeeper would be there in the morning but was happy to take my name and number. The next morning I reached out again and I spoke to Stacie. She informed me that housekeeping did not come in until 9. Stacie stated to me give me one second and I’ll give you a call back. She left the front desk and went to the room to look for the Nintendo switch. She immediately called me back and told me she found it. Of course, my niece was super ecstatic! I cannot praise the staff at LCL enough!! Thank you so much for going over and beyond!! My family and I will definitely be back!!

Great service! I booked a king size bed which was on the 3rd floor looking out over the roadway to the lake. They let me switch rooms to a ground floor 2 Queen bedroom which was on the ground floor overlooking the lake. We were able to sit on the porch and view the lake with no noise from the road.

Breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage patties and biscuits.....sausage gravy would have been great to have over the biscuits. Scrambled eggs and the coffee were very good.
