Our AC was not working in our room. I called the front office and maintenance came within minutes. They determined there was a problem and we were moved to another room immediately. Staff was so helpful and pleasant. Loved the facility and location…so close to the beach, beautiful grounds, relaxing fire at night and a delicious restaurant on site.

It would have been nice to have had a complimentary breakfast or at least coffee offered. The Kuerig in the room didn’t work. Nice to have the restaurant so close, but it would have been better to have complimentary coffee.

The coffee shoppe was closed entire time we were there. Your bikes were in unsafe/ poor working conditions causing me to have to try to put chain back on bike making difficult to pedal for all my group. You NEED NEW BIKES. Staff reported that they have been requested for last few years but you indicated not in budget. One of the highlights for me was able to enjoy the island on the bike but it was made difficult. The staff were nice enough to refund our money.

The location is perfect! Nestled right in the center of the island! The grounds are well maintained and beautiful! The rooms are huge and have great views.

The front desk staff are non-respnsive. I called the front desk several times where I was put on hold for 5+ minutes and disconnected every single time. I had to walk to the front desk to get questions answered. I also had no working phone in my room. I had to use my cell phone. The maintenance guy Christian was very kind, punctual, and a great help. Unfortunately, the line coming into the room needed to be replaced.

The location of the hotel was fantastic - beautiful grounds between the hotel and the ocean, with lots of green space and paths for our dog to walk safely. There are comfortable chairs outside, the pool and bar/restaurant are perfectly located, and the views from our 2nd floor room and balcony were awesome. I normally have trouble sleeping on hotel beds and pillows, but those in our room were outstanding. The front desk staff was very helpful.

While overall the hotel and room were very clean, there was a small ball of fluffy hair in the shower. It was an Accessible room, with no tub, so it was probably easy for the housekeeping staff to miss it under the shower bench. Otherwise everything was clean and in good shape. The pool was closed the last couple of days we were there, and the restaurant by the pool closed earlier than the hours listed in the lobby.

I loved the pet policy and the open grass areas near the room. One issue it the spikes that hide in the grass. Need to figure out how you make sure the grass if clean of them...

I would have enjoyed it if the Bar near the pool stayed open in the evening hours. After our.kids.went to sleep, it could have been. A great place to socialize with other people. Not sure why it closed so early...also. it would be great to have a coffee option in the bar menu.

The room we had was right near the walkway to the Beach. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are nice. The landscaping was done. They must be finished with renovations because it looks very nice there despite the bad reviews I read about it being run down.

The air conditioner didn’t seem to work as well at night but was very cold during the hot day which was unusually backwards, but the AC did work ! The toilet had a problem flushing once or twice.

We loved the location, and the fact that my kids could swim, go to the beach, playground, or play in the yard all in the same place. Loved the outdoor couches and all the places to hang out. Loved that there was a restaurant attached to the property too.

It was a little difficult getting our wagon full of stuff down the stairs to the beach, and the only ramp was on the complete other side of the property from our room. The room had worn and stained furniture that just really should’ve been thrown out long ago.

The property was right on the beach. Convenient to great restaurants. Pool bar/grill was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was definitely a bonus.

The hotel could use some upkeeping. Plants blocking walkways, Adirondack chairs dirty, not enough beach towels, outdoor showers from beach are all broken and rooms are clean but need updating.

The location of this property can't be beat. It was beautiful!! We loved Jonesy, who checked us in & served us coffee on our second day. He was so friendly & warm, and had great suggestions for restaurants on & off the island. The beds were very comfortable & our room was very clean. We did not hear any noise from any of the rooms around us - the overall vibe was very low key & quiet. The grounds were nicely kept & the saltwater pool was great. There were multiple beach access points and it was very uncrowded! This is a very pet-friendly hotel, and all the doggies were very well-behaved and had responsible owners..if ya know what I mean!

Overall, we loved this property & would go back. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not open, and the restaurant by the pool was closed - but we were there before Memorial Day - what we assume is 'off-season'. We are big coffee drinkers, and coffee was only available for limited hours in the morning. (We travel often, and always appreciate complimentary coffee bars in the lobby!) There were some gnats & biting flies on the beach, but this is no fault of the hotel.

spacious queen room in second floor amazing views and private balcony. clean inside, it’s an older property but beds were firm and pillows you would fall into it. outside the property was beautiful. just the scenery, we saw deer one morning looking at sun rise. steps from the beach, plenty of rinsing off stations outside and bathrooms. beach house restaurant next door is amazing. we ate lunch and dinner there. there pizza kids loved!

outside furniture with cushions just was dirty and wet. think they need something that is wipe off proof. you couldn’t use it unless you put a bunch of towels on it and that is a waste to use towels like that. need to make an edit due to food at pool is not kid friendly. hamburgers and hotdogs are not all kids favorites. out of my 3 they would eat it but that isn’t their choice. think just adding fries, Mac and cheese, pb&j/ham/turkey sandwich or wrap and chicken nuggets would be nice.
