Excellent location for value, short easy walk to beach and bus, amazing water cooler , ice machine and DVD machine in lobby, great service for beach towels, awesome having waikiki market around corner(deli like supermarket), staff super friendly and helpful at front desk. Well done., fridge wasn't noisy, great aircon, fan abit loud even on low however wasn't annoying to sleep like other places I've stayed, serviced every 3 days but can ask for more towels snd staff quick and helpful below things are very minor, would happily stay again. For the price exceeded our expectation.

Louvre windows with wind, on lower floors not too bad 😉 maybe let customers know about room servicing, we were very happy though. Also some info on services ie laundry, and about supermarket round corner would be a great addition, and a small brush and shovel in the room to sweep up sand

I checked in hours before the regular check in time and was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready and that I've been upgraded! My room was very well cleaned and away from the noisy street side which I had experienced in my previous stay before the pandemic. The hotel's location is excellent and is within minutes to Waikiki Beach, the International Market, the Royal Hawaiian Shops, and to the Waikiki Shopping Plaza where the Trollies are based. I must add that the desk staff and the cleaning crew were always courteous and helpful. All in all a great eight nights stay and I will definitely call again come next year during March...Ken Ng

The most AMAZING staff ever! I cannot express the extraordinary service that I got from this hotel. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this staff is the BEST I have ever encountered. I have brain fog from radiation and ALL of these employees bent over backward to help me. They drew maps over and over for me ( a new one every time I left so that I wouldn’t get confused). They made calls on my behalf. They explained the bus system so many times that it had to be excruciating for them, but no….just met me with smiles and kept telling me exactly what to expect, the bus numbers, where to get on and off. They made transportation arrangements and always made sure I had a card with the hotel name and phone number. Nicole set the bar SO high when I arrived that I couldn’t imagine anyone else being so competent and precious, but EVERY SINGLE employee treated me like a loved guest in their home. As a female solo traveler, I know they kept an eye on me upon return each day. They also answered many questions over the phone—pleasant and kind! I would never consider staying anywhere else in Honolulu. I stayed in the cheapest room, but it was great. It had a microwave, fridge, safe, ironing board, good quality toiletries and a very comfy bed, beach towels to check out, free movies to check out and basically they will try to make happen anything you need. I have never been treated like this in any hotel anywhere! They need a raise! I would say I made friends, but they are now my family and I can’t wait to see them again.

I stayed here for a month for work and it was a great location right in the middle of the island with lots of restaurants close by. The staff cleaned every couple of days and it was really nice to have a patio. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. The mini fridge is small though. Overall I had a great stay.

Bathroom was a bit small I think if there were two people it would have been tight.

My room was small, but it served my needs since I was the only one in the room. It's actually pretty awesome that this hotel has a Playstation within the room and you can rent games and movies for the night. I never used it personally, but I still think it's pretty cool. And the location of the hotel makes it easy to walk over to the avenue of stores, restaurants and beaches. Overall, I think it's a great bargain to stay at this hotel and will stay here again when I come back.

The only issue I had was that sometimes you can hear your neighbors talking and watching TV.

This hotel is good value for money option. The balconies doesn't give a great view but the location is convenient and close to Waikiki beach. The room was clean and spacious. We used the on-site laundry facilities which was convenient.

The room and facilities seems a bit outdated. The parking is expensive as it's usual in Oahu island. The basement parking lot is a bit too tight for certain vehicles in my opinion and I observed it being almost full at around 7pm during the dates I have stayed here.

The room service was a bit off. If room service came by our room and we were still there, they wouldn't come back to clean later that day and we needed to wait a few days for our room to be cleaned.

I loved the location. I also loved that it was close to local Bus lines, and very convenient to shopping. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the balcony. The staff was very helpful with getting me familiar with local transportation.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I booked a bargain Hotel and I got more than I thought I would . I read the reviews after I had Booked and became a little apprehensive after reading some that were not favorable. I had absolutely no problem with this Hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting a decent Hotel at a bargain price . I would definitely book the Aqua Aloha Surf again.
