The stuff was super friendly, the rooms were big and clean, the hotel itself is very close to the beach, markets, and city center. It also has a pool with a bar for adults only. Very fun. Recommended

Excellent location, with an easy access by bus to HNL airport and other Honolulu landmarks. Waikiki beach is just a few minutes' walk away. There are also many bars and stores around.

No utensils in the room, such as a spoon, a fork or a bottle opener. It's also the first time in my life that a hotel charged me extra for wi-fi.

Hotel was recently renovated, the lobby and room had nice look and feel. The hotel staff and valets were super nice and friendly. The hotel provided complementary, refillable water bottles and the filtered water dispenser had an option for sparkling water. There was easy access in and out of the hotel by car. The location was great; across the street from the back side of the Inrternational Market Place with easy access to the main strip by walking through the international market place.

The parking was pricy at $51+ tax per day.

The location is great, the stuff is very friendly and helpful. Always helped me with everything. The pool downstairs is fantastic. Izakaya’s manager is a sweetheart. They made my birthday dinner very special.

Considering the fact that the property is located very close to the beach, some rooms (including mine) have no balcony… which is okay as you can see it during the booking process while choosing the suite. However it was very hard for me to dry my towels as there was no place for it at all. The shower looks beautiful but uncomfortable enough, the water pours right on the floor each time you take it. I had an issue with cleaning and was asking myself for the maid to come each time during the week of my stay which is strange. It’s their full responsibility to change the towels that are on the floor every day, get the trash out and do the bed. Unfortunately I was coming back to no changes often enough and had to report it to reception all the time.

Amazing vibes, awesome welcome and they were so wonderful to let us check in very early after a long flight overseas! The renovations done to this hotel are very cool - nice decor, amazing bar/restaurant downstairs and the pool was nice at night. The rooms are SO well valued considering the amazing location and the staff were amazing!! We loved our stay & would come back for sure!

Be mindful that it is a hot pool (like a spa temperature), so it’s way too hot during the day if you want to cool off because there was no cold outdoor shower (that we could find). The rooms were noisy (thin windows) but that was fine for us who were out late most evenings, however if you were there to relax it may be an issue.

Staff keen and responsive dealing with teething issues in this newly refurbished newly opened hotel . Location is very central for beach and shops and restaurants. Rooms are good size, nice furnishings, walk in showers and balcony with chairs and coffee table. Excellent Japanese focus restaurant. Pool deck with bar, water warm and plenty of in pool seating and pool was scrupulously cleaned each day. Modern ambience and adults only so popular with 25s to 35s but older people very welcome.

Avoid rooms ending 19 on the corner of the building. Breakfast at the bar has a limited offering.

It exceeded expectations. Directly across from the International Marketplace. Very short walk to Waikiki Beach. Close to shops, bus stop. Room was very comfortable with a bathroom larger than most. Loved the little square cut into the glass shower screen that allowed you to turn on the tap without getting wet (it's the little things, people!) Very clean, fabulous staff. Bar and restaurant on first floor but no noise heard in room. Extremely good value for money. Would stay again and have already recommended to people.

Could not find any fault!

Super comfy beds, excellent location, close to everything, quiet as well. Friendly staff and listened to any questions or booking issues. Rectified my payment as I had booked through booking.com who had already taken out my payment and then the hotel charged me again when we arrived but refunded me when I bought it to their attention later, just not sure why the hotel charged me again after they saw that booking.com already had. Maybe new staff...Only had one night there and didn't get to use the pool unfortunately but looked very nice, would definately come back it was lovely.

We loved our stay at Romer - it is as simple as that<3 We felt really welcomed, the room was new, fresh & clean and it smelt so nicely. Style & interior design of the hotel is absolutely outstanding. Staff took good care of us, we also had a few delicious dinners at the restaurant. It is a must! Curry yakisoba was our favorite. All in all, our stay at Romer Waikiki house will become a nice memory from honeymoon in Hawaii.

The same that others mentioned- shower needs a glass door, as the glass wall is not enough to avoid flooding the bathroom.

Loved the central location - it's literally across the road from the International Marketplace shopping mall. There's valet parking and valet staff are super helpful and proactive. The hotel is new - they opened in June 2024 so the facilities are great and new. Bathroom is of a modern design. The beds are super comfy - we had one of our best sleeps here. Staff are friendly and they provide free refillable water bottles plus the ambience and interior design is quite fresh and modern.

The hotel is a few streets away from the beach so don't expect great views out of the window. There are balconies but the balconies are hot with the aircon fans on it so super noisy. But if you're looking for a short stay - this is the perfect place for you. It probably wouldn't tick your box if you're looking for a resort style stay.
