Great location, and excellent placement of the pools to face fantastic sunsets. Great accomodations for families as well as couples / adults with the adults only pool and the family pools. Good facilities on site in terms of restaurants, parking (self and valet), Starbucks, a general store and proximity to the shops at Wailea. Also bonuses are free fitness and yoga classes for guests right in front of the ocean. Couldn't get better. The staff is friendly and a special shout-out out to housekeeping for keeping the rooms in great shape. Other bonuses for families are kids club, game room, water slides. Hot tip: the whale's tale is a bar/coffee shop/cafe that is conveniently situated close to Wailea beach so you can run over to get drinks and food. The Starbucks line is always quite long.

The hotel does not have its own beach and the adjacent beaches are shared between the hotels on the strip. To add to that, it definitely appeared that Wailea beach resort had a smaller space and lesser chairs assigned to their section. If you don't get there by 9 am and get a spot then highly likely you will have to wait for someone else to vacate their beach chairs. Also, the bathroom is quite small for a hotel of this caliber. No tub, only a shower. It's tiny and the layout with the door opening almost into the shower is so bizarre, you've to play Tetris with yourself to go in and out. Overall a bit expensive. I know it's post covid surge and it's Maui but I've stayed in better hotels at Kauai for lesser.

Beautiful property in prime location on Maui. We were two minutes from the Shops at Wailea, nearly on the waterfront with easy access to beach. The serenity pool was awesome with incredible view of ocean. The staff at this resort were all amazing. Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and very professional. The Luau was absolutely amazing!! I’ve decided I will only stay at this resort when I travel to Maui.

Not the resort’s fault, but very expensive. A Mai Tai at this resort is double what it would cost at a local bar. Same with pretty much all good and drink ordered at this resort.

Our room, which was a king sundeck room, was absolutely amazing. The deck had a table, cough and full-size outdoor daybed, including an umbrella. We had a stunning view of the infinity pool with the beach right behind it. There was easy access to the pool from our deck. A lot of people come early to reserve poolside chairs, but we didn't have to since it seemed like we had our own private cabana with our sundeck. We were able to watch the sunset every night from our room. All the staff were amazingly kind and friendly. We received leis and local POG (passionfruit/orange/guava) juice as a nice welcome after checking in. The location of this resort is right in the middle of everything. It's 30 min from the airport, 25 min to the start of Road to Hana, and only 10 min away from Kihei which is a cute town with lots of local cuisine. The resort is located right next to The Shops, which made it super convenient when needing to grab last minute items. I recommend the Wailea Beach Resort to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay on their honeymoon!

The room service food was less than ideal. We ordered a Cesar salad and poke nachos. The Cesar salad was not chopped up. The sriracha mayo on the poke nachos was not well-spread and the poke chunks were huge. I felt that these 2 items were not worth the $80 that we paid.

Amazing pools overlooking the ocean. Having to poolside bar was great as well. Good atmosphere.

The partial ocean view isn’t much of a view so either upgrade to full ocean view and spend the money or if you traveling on a bit more of a budget forget the partial ocean view. Main restaurant is ok for dinner but better options on the island. That being said the breakfast buffet is entirely worth it.

Room, Pool and View are all great. It'll be even better if the room is bigger.

The room doesn't have a kitchen and a bigger sofa. Also, the wall is not quite soundproof so you can hear whenever the person next door is using shower.

A massive mahalo to the entire team at the Wailea Beach Resort for their kokua and attention to safety of their guests. Can’t say much for some of the behaviors of guests that could really use some work, but for every staff member I encountered, they went out of their way to provide us with the best experience possible. Absolutely over-the-top fantastic service and I am extremely grateful. Sam was our absolute favorite! My mom can’t walk without a cane and she can’t travel far on foot. Sam made it easy for her to get around! He’s awesome! And our room was AMAZING! Dinner at Roy’s was the absolute best! Top notch service too!

Nothing! Maybe some of the guests were jerks, but hey, nobody can control that. 😂

When we booked our reservation we got a breakfast included deal, but it turned out there that this referred to the continental breakfast. Everything is very expensive (hotel restaurants, parking) and it felt like everyone on the staff was trying to upsell us on something. On a 4 days stay we got 2 messages from the hotel's marketing manager (on one of the times she called our room).

Ocean View Room (Partial) was well situated, clean & comfortable. Adult only infinity pool was perfect!

We had an ocean front room which was amazing. The view was totally worth the price, watching the whales and the sunset each day. The pool also had great views of the ocean and the pool bar was close by. We arrived early in the morning which was 6 hours before check in time, but we were able to use the hotel facilities including their 'arrival lounge' which meant we could shower and safely lock our belongings away. There is a shopping centre which is a 5 minute walk away, including a supermarket which was handy to have that served simple meals if you didn't feel like hotel restaurant food the whole time. I will definitely be coming back!

On some days it was difficult to get a a lounge chair by the pool so you had to plan to arrive at certain times to get one.
