Bar/lobby was fun at night. Having board games and a DJ was perfect for my eight year old son. He also had a lot of fun in the pool.

The pool water was freezing! Needs a heater. And my father left his coat in the lobby the previous night and the staff didn’t seem to want to help. I feel like something could have been done beyond a quick look into lost and found. Any cameras in the lobby?

Beautiful place, very clean, comfortable beds, super nice and helpful staff. We had a change in our booking dates and the staff were very accommodating. The place has a great vibe and even the guests were super friendly. The pool was lovely and had comfy poolside seating. Mini fridge for drinks and leftovers. No microwave but there was one downstairs in the snack area. Amazing nearby restaurants. You'll need to scan your own room card in the elevator for your floor (except the pool floor which doesn't have rooms). This helps with security and overall we felt very safe. We parked ourselves in their designated parking garage and were able to access our car. We didn't take it out until checkout because the garage charges you every time you drive in there, but technically we could have taken the car. They also have valet where you can drive your car 3x per day without being charged. Valet is definitely worth it if you need to use your car. The parking mess seems typical for the area but it was relatively easy and the garage was really close.

If I could move this place closer to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium I would. We took lots of busses and Ubers to that area. The location was still amazing though and there were so many great food places within easy walking distance. So it's a tradeoff. The bathroom door was a sliding door which could be an issue for some people but we didn't care.

This hotel is amazing. It was clean, modern, cozy and beautiful. What made our stay even more wonderful was Janai, she works at the front desk amd is one of the most beautifully hearted people that I have ever met. She was so kind with me, my children and wife. Always wanting to greet and ask if we need anything. I am a 15 year hotelier and I can spot when someone has true talent for working hotels and Janai is a true hotelier. She made our trip to chicago more wonderful and we will forever be associated with our best experiene. I wish Janai all the best with her future career. Hopefully the next time we are in chicago we find her to be a top level senior manager. Thank you Aloft, thank you Janai ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed me stay, staff were very friendly. Hotel is literally walking distance from all tourist attractions. My husband and i walked no more than 15 min to places. Your also around so much food places. Mag mile is also like a 5min walk. Staff also recommends places to go.

We paid for valet which was $65 a day and a joke To me. No one was ever at valet stand so we always had To wait 10-15 min to get our rental. Id say if you plan to use this make sure you give your self at least 30 min to get car if you have booked plans.

The hotel has a modern, fun vibe. We liked the loud, party-like atmosphere in the lobby (our stay was on a Friday night and there was a dj). The room was small but comfortable. It was very quiet and the black out shade worked great. The property is close to Michigan Avenue so it is in a great location to shop and get to museums.

We were a family of 4 (2 teen kids) and the room with 2 Queen beds was good for a short stay but had we stayed longer we would have felt cramped. There is a sliding door to the bathroom that was tricky to close completely and on several occasions one of the kids got stuck in there. There was a nice mini fridge but no microwave in the room.

The location was perfect, close to the Mag Mile and in the middle of the downtown. The room and the bahthroom was spacious, there was a gym and a pool in the last floor and there was a bar in the hall with happy hour and live music everyday. There are a lot of restaurants around. Knowing how expensive is to live in Chicago, this place had a reasonable price, even during the marathon week.

We were there for 8 nights and in the whole week they didn´t clean the room not once. Breakfast wasnt´t included and didn´t seem very well but as i said we didn´t try it.

The location of the hotel is great, the hotel is very good in terms of convenience and comfort, and the opportunity to meet the activities and people of the city in its lobby, which is always lively, is also nice.

However, as stated in the room services and room cleaning system, even if a reservation is made, it sometimes happens that they do not arrive on the promised day, so you need to follow up and make sure that they are recorded in their system.

The whole vibe of the hotel was on point. When we entered, there was a live dj and cute lounge area which included plenty of seating options, a bar, and pool table. The hotel is pet friendly and they can stay with you for free❤ Staff was very friendly. The location is a couple blocks from the lake and just one block over from Michigan Ave. Our room, sheets, blankets, mattresses were clean and free of wear and tear. Decor was modern and visually appealing.

Our room was not cleaned after our first nights stay. This wasn't a huge deal since we didn't stay long and I don't like people touching my things. But a longer stay would have required at least new towels. I did notice a little staining on the little couch and rug in the room. Also, if we are being picky, the art on the wall could use a touch up and so could the mirror in the bathroom as the very bottom of it had some wear and tear. I could also kind of hear through the walls what my neighbors were doing but it wasn't extreme or to the point where I could not sleep.

Property location was nice and surrounded by lots of food choices.

One of the check in receptionists seemed to be having a bad day and wasn’t very welcoming. Also, the room was pretty bare bones so it didn’t have shelving in the shower to sit your personal items. Not much water pressure so the toilet took a few times to adequately flush. The bathroom had a sliding barn door that was extremely loud when opening and closing and would often get stuck.

Lively comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really good location. Worked well for with kids (7 & 5yo) as they found much entertainment in the very big open lobby with sculptures and city models. The slinky hotel adverts made the kids' day... although a pain for us parents to have to untangle. Very convenient: close to a 7-11, Whole Foods, and fancy (but mediocre and long wait-line) coffee shops , parking, walking distance to mag mile and other places, aaaand, healthy food options right below the hotel Sweet Greens and peri peri chicken place.

The walls are paper thin and not quite insulated. Neighboring room had TV on but one could hear conversation and music despite it not being too loud - yet, very audible.
