the receptionist called me for the confirmation of our stay since I did rebookong for 3 times. the view from our room was fantastic, so beautiful. I can see the main street and the bridge on the left side from the balcony. they have breakfast at the LL with the sceneries overview looking. they also allow doordash for food delivery.

the room conditioning didn't work well during our stay, it goes off and runs through like a fan. it is during fall season. it is pretty nice during the morning you can feel a little cold

Wow-- the breakfast was fantastic! Eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, toast, English muffins, packaged muffins, cereal, apples, yogurt, juice and coffee. Lord have mercy, that was alot! The rooms were beautiful. The view was astounding. We sat on our balcony every day. You could see the town, the river, the bridge... It was fantastic! The only drawback was that the room was warm and we couldn't adjust the thermostat. So we cracked the balcony door and that fixed the problem! Absolutely beautiful place and we never saw another hotel in town that could have given us the view this one did! We hope to come back! A perfect three days!

The balcony and view were fabulous! The bed was very comfortable, too. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were very impressive. There were plenty of hot food choices like biscuits, gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon! Plus cereal, various breads and muffins, yogurt, and fruit. The dining area offered a full panorama of historic Madison and the Ohio River. So lovely! I am coming back ASAP!

I really have no complaints. Just a couple of observations. As you drive up the hill to the hotel, it's looks like a classic mid-century hotel, just oozing retro charm. Once inside, it shows wear. I couldn't help but think what a vintage showpiece it could be if mid-century furniture, lamps, wall art, etc. were added to the public areas, at least. Adding Mid-century Modern in the rooms would be a huge plus! To be clear, I liked the hotel very much - please read my comments about the room, view, and breakfast! I just see a missed opportunity to make it really memorable, decor-wise.

I loved this hotel. This was first visit to Madison and I had no idea what a great town this was. This hotel towers over downtown and is a great place to stay! Wonderful facility and exceptional staff made my overnight time here exceptional! Hope to come back again soon! Love the area! My room was comfortable and quiet and after a nice hot shower I slept like a baby all night! Breakfast was adequate but the wonderful dining area made it special.

A bit of a trek to bring my stuff in to my room, but this is a hotel - not a motel!

The view of the city. Good to see some work has been done on the grounds and the exterior. The coziness of the room and breakfast room. We liked the flooring you put in. Keeps things cleaner!

The sliding door didn’t lock. Considering we were on first floor, it was a little uncomfortable. It of cold air was coming in around balcony doors.

The location is great and the view of the river, bridge and town are wonderful. The room was very clean.

They shut everything down at exactly 9am for breakfast. Even if you're sitting there eating, they come in and take everything away. No more coffee after 9am! I would at least wait until the customer is finished in the dining room before they come in and clean everything up.

Location was perfect! Our room overlooked the Ohio River. We could see the milton-madison bridge and down main Street. The views were awesome! Staff was super friendly and informative! Even told us a story that reflects the history of Madison!

The mattress was a little too firm for my liking but the pillows and linens were great! We weren't allowed to smoke on the balcony which sucked but I understand why.

The view was fabulous, even being local, it was very enjoyable. The room was also nice-the tv cabinet should have doors that open further for viewing around the room, and the bed was kind of hard and uncomfortable; the breakfast was good and plentiful, and nice and quiet. The balcony experience was the best!

Waffles were great. The rest of the breakfast was average or less. There was no fat free milk or yogurt. Good, hot coffee.

The breakfast area in the lower level has a fabulous view with full windows overlooking the city, the bridge and the river and without the noise of the balcony. However, that area was blocked off and guests were not allowed in that area. Everyone was crowded into a windowless, smaller space and there were not enough tables for everyone!

The balcony was the best part of the room. The hot tub was the next best thing. It was also a great location. The staff was very kind!

The bed and pillows could use an upgrade. Also, not being able to adjust the room temperature was kind of a letdown. The temperature was not regulated very well.
