The hotel exceeded our expectations! It was clean, quiet and comfortable! Trenelle (sp?) at the desk was fantastic. She was very kind, welcoming and helpful. The room was stocked with everything we could need. The bed was extremely comfortable and all of the bed linens were clean and ironed!

The hide-away bed our children slept on had quite a few broken springs. However, they said they still slept great.

The hotel is in a great location, it is very pretty and comfortable, and the staff is great, with the exception of the manager. She is horrible.

Booking.com said that they would give me a refund because we stayed in a 1-bedroom suite for 3 nights for which we had paid for a 2-bedroom suite. They tried to contact the manager, I tried to contact her, and she didn't have the decency to return my phone calls or the emails that Booking.com sent her. So I'm out as much as $600.

I enjoyed the location being walking distance from everything and the staff. One particular young lady who worked swing was very nice, cordial and informative regarding food, sight seeing and all the other questions I had. She made my stay excellent! I can't remember her name, but she has curly red shoulder length hair, beautiful smile and always always appeared happy when passing through the office.

My husband and I were amazed at how big the room was with a spacious living room and small kitchenette (which you can even cook in if you so wish), a comfortable bedroom, and a bathroom with a tub that doubles as a jacuzzi. Our room faces the courtyard which was nice. Near the elevator was a spacious balcony with tables and chairs spread out that you can enjoy a nice takeout meal and take in the fresh air. The hotel has an old world charm about it. Bonus is that right across the street from the hotel is the streetcar stop, the Jazz Museum, and the French Market. The French Quarter is right around there too. A very convenient location indeed and along a quiet street. The staff are friendly and helpful as well.

The only thing we didn't like was that the guest in the next room sat outside his room and smoked. We can't stand smelling smoke in our vicinity due to respiratory problems. Wish smoking was not allowed just outside the rooms as it affects other guests as well.

Absolutely LOVED the atmosphere of this Hotel! The location is absolutely perfect and within reasonable walking distance to everything and LITERALLY around the corner from the French market. And the pool with the fleur de lis fountain in the middle was also great! Also. The lovely manager of the front desk allowed us to check in early which was amazing due to we got there earlier than expected and it was over 95 degrees outside . Shout out to her!

That the balcony access in the room was cut off from the inside. Looks as if they had been painted shut for some reason. There was a beautiful terrace to walk out onto though on the front of the hotel overlooking Esplanade St

Very neat hotel located at the east end of the French Quarter with so much in walking distance. It isn't super old but does look as though it is. The hotel has furniture that is period specific and lots of old wood. Lots of character in the hotel. The staff were all super nice. We would definitely stay there again.

There are not a lot of parking spots available. No breakfast at the hotel but plenty of places within walking distance. The mattress was not super comfortable but was ok. The rooms each have a 30 gallon water heater. We had a jacuzzi tub in our room and ran out of hot water before we could get the water level above the jets.

The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. There was a little kitchen with the basic and essential things available. The bathroom was also spacious. The location couldn't have been better. Right on the edge of the French quarter and close to the French Market, and a block away from Frenchmen street. I would definitely return there. There is a great lounge on Frenchman street, 3 Muses (worth finding, great jazz)

Parking is hit or miss as there are limited spots. We were lucky that one spot was available the moment we arrived. Apart from that, we didn't have any issues at all.

Great location ! The best in NOLA by our standards (we stayed for 8 days): walking distance to market, French district (Royal street and Bourbon street 5-15minutes), Frenchmen street (2 minutes). NOLA jazz museum is nust accross the street! AND it gets very silent and calm at night, thus you can sleep like a baby. Easily accessible by car and has parking option, even though parking igets full on weekends, thus it is best to arrive on Thursday and not to move your car for your whole stay. Has a fun tiny pool with fountain thats great for small kids! Great antique style, loved it. If you are there go and visit Spotted Cat Bar for some real authentic New Orleans jazz. The stafff is nice and helpful.

Upon arrival was exceptionally professionally greeted by the attendant with not only a warm welcome but upon completion or check-in was wished an absolutely delightful stay and to please let the staff know if I needed anything additional. The custodial and engineering staff were always extremely helpful and always very courteous and friendly above and beyond personal expectations. Regarding the room decor, the facility is truly dedicated to ensuring the New Orleans cultural and historical look along with all personal amenities available. I truly felt completely comfortable my entire stay. Everything desired was within walking distance. If anything outside of the distance I so desired required transportation, I utilized Uber and Lyft which were extremely easy to attain. The only challenge is the limited amount of parking available. Other than the parking issue, staying at this facility was the best choice I could have ever made. One additional personal note, personally observed that the staff was always extremely open-minded and consistent when performing customer service to their clients. Highly recommend the owners consider expanding operations to include personal dining within the hotel and facilitate the possibility of using the balcony to open a small evening outdoor bar when weather permitting.. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay. Last note, customer utilized booking.com to make reservation for this hotel.

Owners need to reevaluate parking situation and consider options for expanding parking for hotel guests.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. They have an intreresting pool. On the street there are 3 nearby bars, but there was no noise in the room. The parking lot is perfect, it’s am interior parking that they close during the night. I saw the parking behind the hotel, that’s autdoor but also closed up by a fance. The hotel is in the historical part of the town, very close to the Burbon street. Every attraction is walking distance. The staff was natural friendly.

I liked everything There were some homeless people nearby but nevere intrusive or so and the police patrolled the area every night. I felt safe as a walker at 2 am. For a brief moment, the shower water was very hot from both faucets, but the problem quickly resolved itself.
