such a cute hotel with a great pool, right on Frenchman but tucked away just at the end of the street so still quiet and feels private. love that it’s connected to a bar w-s and there’s a lovely roof to hang out on! I stay here every time I’m in Nola!
the first night our overhead light would not turn off (confirmed by the staff), so we had to move rooms. they moved us to a significantly smaller room, and we assumed they’d have someone fix the situation so we could move back to the significantly better room re: spaciousness. the attitude on that was definitely lax, and if was pretty clear from our communication that it was not a priority. it never got fixed during our four night stay. also, I’ve been here three times before, and early check in was no big deal if the room was ready. this time, due to some policy change, there was a $50 (around this, can’t remember exactly) fee for early check in. so while I LOVE the hotel, vibes from management could be better.

Very cute, partially renovated hotel in a great location on Frenchman! The pool is exceptional and open late. Love the tiki bar too. The staff is super friendly and helpful!! People who say it’s loud, it’s ON Frenchman where all the best live music in Nola is, it’s not going to be quiet there, but we hardly heard anything inside our room. They do supply complementary ear plugs, which I thought was sweet.
Zero counter space in the bathroom (which was tiny) to get ready and bad lighting to see your face. My friend found a cockroach in her room, but it’s NOLA (they are everywhere) and she was on the ground floor.

I loved the look of the hotel. Very French Quarter style establishment and I loved the colors. The pool was a great look as well! Perfect for picture taking. The location was great with many many things in walking distance or a short Lyft/Uber drive. Night life was great to walk around and hit up different bars and listen to live music. The staff were very friendly! I just overall loved the esthetic of the hotel. The lobby area was painted so cool! They also have bigger rooms with balconies that face the street that I definitely would love to stay there next time I go! The room I stayed in was a basic room complete with small fridges, flat screen tv, air conditioning and ceiling fan. Real soft comfortable bed if you like that. Great water pressure and hot water in the shower. I’d definitely stay at The Frenchmen again!
The pool steps were slippery! I was recording myself stepping into the pool and slipped on the very first step! I hurt my knee and foot and definitely felt embarrassed because people were at the pool with me. I told the concierge at the front desk and I hope they look into it so no on else gets hurt. Also I am a pretty tall woman standing at 6’2” and others may not see this as a problem but the mirrors in the restroom were really low for me. I had to bend to down to do makeup and check my clothes.

Hotel located near a lot of bars/restaurants that showcase great local bands at night. The price was reasonable for the long weekend. Rooms are clean and the bed was comfy. Staff were friendly
The room we had was very small, especially the bathroom. Would not recommend this hotel for families with young children or solo single women, had a few individuals on opioids hanging out across from the hotel, no fault of the hotel. One of the night front desk person didn't know too much about the area, wasn't too helpful.

There are many things to love about the property. The hotel is well situated to the French Quarter and Frenchmen area. We were within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, French Market, the river and more. The design of the common spaces and hotel rooms were nearly works of art. We loved the color palette and unique design elements. It has a pool and a very fun adjacent tiki bar. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom tile was unexpected and beautiful. It was nice to have a refrigerator. Everyone in our group said the same about their rooms. The staff is very personable and accommodating.
The hotel rooms don’t offer much storage space for unpacking. There’s a tiny desk, a tiny closet and a tiny shelf over the sink in the bathroom.

The hotel is super cute and looks just like the photos. The lobby is adorable and the pool is amazing for cooling off in New Orleans. Located right on Frenchman Street, it's right in the mix of things but is tucked away enough so that it's not too loud. It's just a quick walk to Bourbon street and not nearly as touristy feeling. We had a room upstairs and it was spacious and perfect for our needs.
Check in experience could be a little smoother. We were unable to get into the hotel and had to wait at the front door for a little bit before we got the attention of the front desk. Also, the Tiki Tock bar next door is cool in theory but the employees are rude and weird about trying to get a regular drink that is not a tiki drink.

This hotel is so unique and decorated to a very high standard. We loved all the little details and could feel the history of the property. The pool was perfect after a long day walking In the heat. The bed was also comfy.
The room was quite small and dark and there was noise from Frenchmen street, however we knew this and wanted to stay close to the street. It didn’t affect our sleep but can imagine if we were there on a busy weekend it may have been louder.

We greatly enjoyed how conveniently the hotel was located. We also appreciated the design touches, though it was clear from the construction happening on the bathroom below our room that work is still on going. The plunge pool and hot tub were a great feature during the hot weather. The staff were also very helpful, providing us a steamer upon request and storing our bags after checkout while we explored the city before our evening flight.
It was VERY loud in our room. Not only was the street we faced loud - which being on Frenchmen was to be expected, however the property did not provide any notice of this - but there was also music happening inside the hotel itself with bass so loud that ear plugs were no help. The room (a suite which we were upgraded to in hopes the hotel could sell some of smaller rooms during jazz fest) was very large, and felt oddly empty. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge!

Friendly staff. Especially, Cullen was very helpful and shared a google doc with places to eat, visit, things to do etc. Location of Hotel is in walking distance to Frenchmen street and the French Quarter. Even though it was mentioned on the site that it was close to the "partying noise" -- I wasn't bothered by this at all. Found it was mostly on the quieter side of Frenchmen street... with the occasional cars/buses passing by blasting loud music. Room was cozy and sweet. Comfortable bed. Especially enjoyed the wash cloth textures.
Airconditioning to close to the bed, not ideal as a personal preference.

Location was great, had to pay for most of breakfast. Only coffee and fruit were free. Pool and hot tub area were so fun and the best part of the trip. Made friends there.
There is no place to unpack, and the tiny nightstand only held a glass of water. You need to put some dressers in the room. The room was so dark, closet was huge, but there was little light and again, no dresser to put clothes.
