Staff and location

The restaurant apart of hotel is Indian food (so no variety), although subway is next to that restaurant (there is other eating place across road & close by). Pillows were uncomfortable, they are due for either new ones or to change the type they are. This is just a personal preference but I like being able to look out window in morning to see what weather is like, having a room with window facing into hotel is not my thing after staying in it. Emergency alarm went off at nearly midnight 2 nights in a row, didn't need to in evacuate in the end and not sure if this is a common thing (not good for anyone having to get up early).

Loved the location, the hotel itself is quite grand and luxurious. Rooms were large and great, elevators worked well. Bathroom did have a strange smell, but almost everything worked perfectly.

Surprisingly, virtually all staff members I encountered were not welcoming or pleasant at all (and I never really complain about this sort of thing). Kind of surprised me for a nice hotel like this in a touristy area. Cleaning staff were nice though. The shower curtain bar/shower curtains were positioned poorly so you usually ended up with lots of water outside the tub, which was super annoying.

The room \ bed was very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a dresser to unpack our clothes into, instead of living out of a suitcase for a week. Other than that it was great.

It would have been nice to have a complimentary coffee or cold water in the lobby area. My husband is an early riser and would come down to the lobby to read his book in the early am and have to go in search of coffee, so as not to disturb me.

The hotel was in a great location. Just 2 blocks from Burbon Street in French Quarter, 1 block from Canal Street and the downtown area! Easy access to busses and streetcars. The beds were very comfy and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating......Some updating could be done to the rooms, but all things considered, I rate it an 8 out of10! I would stay there again!

There was no airport shuttle service. Also, no microwave in the rooms.

The room was clean and the water pressure was good in the showers. We had a great room that looked over the internal part of the hotel which was just beautiful. Love the atmosphere and happy this was our first impression of New Orleans. Also, shout out to the manager of the Hotel because she was able to let us decorate my brother and sister in-laws room for their combined bachelor/bachelorette party!

The check in could have been a little easier, like maybe advance parking option or something so we could have parked first then checked in but we made it work. Also should maybe add more mirrors in the parking garage so people can see others entering and exiting a little easier.

Room was a nice size, comfortable beds, the room safe, television, fridge

No dresser for clothes, no luggage valet, not enough hangers, not enough places to hang towels,etc in the bathroom, no fan in the bathroom, a strange smell coming from the bathroom (no one had gone to the bathroom), we had to pick up our own towels, no restaurant/bar.

The staff was amazing, talk about southern hospitality! Desk staff (the graveyard and the morning check out staff) and security (day shift) we're all super nice and made my stay the best it could be - they were knowledgeable, patient and accommodating to my family needs.The staff was amazing, talk about southern hospitality! I know Mardi Gras is chaotic so i truly appreciate the level of care they put towards all guests - very well trained and raised. Everything was great, only complaint is the smell of the water.

Location was close proximity to Superdome,Bourbon Street, Canal Street and French Quarters and all restaurants. Was able to walk everywhere including Walgreens, CVS, shopping stores. Trolley stop is one block away.

No restaurant in the hotel was a killer, wanted to get up and just come down to eat and go back upstairs to my room. Luckily, there is Daisy Dukes and other restaurants 2 blocks away. Oh,please upgrade the TV's.

Did not appreciate having to pay for parking that was very tight and small spaces i wld Not been able to bring my SUV. i kept feeling like i was going to bang my car coming in and out of parking entrance

This hotel was the best for everything! Close to everything but the hotel was quiet (loved it!) The young lady at front desk everyday was so helpful.( I forgot her name but she worked the day shift 10/30 to 11/6/22.)She even scheduled our taxi back to airport 24 hours prior. Room was roomy, bed so comfortable! Bathrooms were up to date modern. Loved we had a small fridge but most importantly a COFFEE maker! This is an old hotel but the lobby area is lovely and most importantly... everything was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. The floors, the elevators, the hallways. This was our first trip to New Orleans. I expect we'll make a return trip and no hesitation of staying here again. It's walkable to all the tourist attractions and to gathering for the tours.

Pillows were hard but the bed was so comfortable I still slept like a baby!
