The suite was very nice. The staff was very responsive. Room service was did not take long even for the delicious freshly baked cookies. I especially appreciated the separation of the bedroom from the sitting room. It allowed me to take a meeting without disturbing my spouse. I also liked the bathroom, especially the deep soaking tub.

The view was less than desirable as it looked onto the garbage area and the train to and from the casino was right outside our window. Valet parking was mostly impossible to reach by phone from the room but once we went downstairs the car was brought out within 5 minutes or so.

The location is great. The casino, good restaurants, a bakery and ice cream parlor all within walking distance. I was able to walk to many venues as well. The size of the suite was a pleasant surprise and the room service food was good the only thing missing was a microwave to heat up the leftovers since the portion size was very large.

My pet peeve is the same with all hotels I have stayed at lately and that is the ice bucket and drinking glasses are in the bathroom! I don't understand this latest trend because it is clearly a violation of infection control. In the age in which we live there should not be glass ware at all. Everything should be single use.

We arrived before checkin time and they were able to give us a room early. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and recommended a pizza place across the street that was amazing! We walked to Comerica Field and walked to the river front. This hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was good and service was fabulous. The bell men were friendly and always greeted and opened the door. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The suit was nice. Very noisy because of the Train running underneath my window. The Hum very loud plus the hum from the room beside their air conditioner . Noisy. I call to see if there was a quieter room on other side. No answer at front desk. By the time I got back to my room 1:10pm room was fairly quiet

The valet staff were exceptional — helpful, friendly, fast, and efficient.

The room service menu indicated that service was available until 11 pm. After a Tigers game we passed up restaurants to go back for room service, but by 10:20 the staff was gone. The night clerk casually suggested Door Dash as an alternative. That was not a satisfactory response.

Andre was so nice. The service helpers with the suits (3) was amazing in there customer service approach. The valet men were exceptionally pleasant, well groom and provided excellent service. I came out of town for a concert and the location was great, the shuttle service was outstanding. I love that FISHBONES was a restaurant of enjoyment as it brought back loving memories of when I took my mom there for Mothers Day when the restaurant had Al la cart available. My trip to Detroit was amazing and THANK YOU for being apart of that.

The rooms are amazing. But the shower area was the best.

Beautiful hotel! The staff is exceptional! Friendly and helpful. It is a true full service hotel. My only rub was that our event ended late and there was no food available anywhere nearby. An area to buy snacks at any time would be a great addition!

No food available anywhere later at night. Room service ends at 11 on weekdays and no area to buy snacks/drinks other than the water available in our room fridge.

Great space (lots of it) and perfect location for our purposes. Excellent restaurant next door to property with extensive menu and suprisingly good sushi. Good room service menu at reasonable prices. Walking distance to River Walk and Ren Cen, nearby people mover tram line.

The property is becoming a little frayed at the edges. The size of our suite was impressive as well as the glass block walls on the bathroom. However, there were areas of the floor (covered by carpetting) that had holes/depressions and a bit of a musty smell to the room. The power outlets were somewhat limited (USB inputs lacking) and often wouldn't "hold" a plug.

The layout of the room was great. I appreciated the living room space separate from the sleeping area. The beds were comfortable as well. Having a shuttle there was very helpful during our stay

We were initially assigned a room that was already occupied. Luckily the key that we were given wouldn't open the door to that room but the guest did answer the door. We checked the room number again, which was correct on the key envelope. We returned to the front desk and they assigned us to a different room and were apologetic. I also did not receive my validated valet ticket back upon checkin, but I was not charged for the parking which was nice. It was a bit of a mess for the valet attendant to locate our vehicle key with no number, but eventually it was found and we were on our way.

This is our second stay in 11 months. Great location! Your are within walking distance a plenty of restaurants and sports venues. Staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms are 5 star. Great views of the city.

Same as my last visit. Little cosmetic things that go unnoticed, but I noticed. Cracked bathroom floor tile. Toilet wasn't straight. Broken elevator glass. They may seem minor, but kinda bothers you when you see that they do an excellent to keep the whole hotel spotless but didn't take the time to fix such minor things.
