The vibe, decor, functionality, and design of the hotel was amazing. Really beautiful , interesting and comfortable

Lack of access to water. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room or when asked for, no drinking fountain or bottle filling station and the ice machine was in the basement. It would have been $5 to buy a bottle of water in the hotel lobby. With the ice machine in the basement, it made it inaccessible to get water and ice for the room which to me is a very basic and important necessity when staying overnight anywhere.

The Siren Hotel offers a unique and stylish stay in the heart of Detroit. The extravagant decor adds a touch of personality to the clean and comfortable rooms. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, the rooms provide a cozy retreat. The friendly and helpful staff enhance the overall experience. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Detroit, I highly recommend the Siren Hotel.

While the Siren Hotel offers a unique and stylish stay in the heart of Detroit, I would have appreciated a complimentary breakfast option. Unfortunately, this wasn't included in my reservation, so I missed the opportunity to try their food offerings. Despite this, the friendly staff and the hotel's central location made for a pleasant stay.

The staff was amazing! Especially the woman who works nights at the front desk. She helped us quickly resolve an issue that caused us to have to switch rooms, she took me back to the old room when I thought I’d left something there but actually I had not, and when my husband was looking for a drink late at night and we didn’t have any close options she went to and got him a soda from a machine in an employee only area in the hotel. She went above and beyond customer service expectations!

The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and I personally didn’t like the smell of the body wash.

We were transported back in time! The Siren has done an amazing job honoring the 1920's. From its color palette, its plush and luxurious fabrics, period furnishings, and mood lighting we felt transported back in time. The helpful and knowledgeable staff, valet service, and the speakeasy themed 'Candy Bar' topped off a wonderful weekend stay.

Through no fault of its own, the Detroit Tigers won a hard fought game in 11 innings the night we were there, so the revelry from the fans and downtown atmosphere carried on past midnight. As guests of The Siren, we weren't quite expecting that much excitement that late. But again, it wasn't the hotels fault.

Location was convenient to walking to many bars restaurants and stores Even the stadium for the Tigers opening game Friday April 5 Hotel itself was clean and ancient cozy type of setting which was cool Outstanding staff with great hospitality 🤩 I will return my next visit in Detroit!!

😀 Well the lobby ceiling of the Siren definitely needed some repair work with a hugh opening as you walk in I had a twin bunk bed room which was cool however the space was way too small not enough room to sit anywhere but my bed Bathroom was cool except the the black toilet and over head shower Recommend this room if you have children's

Awesome location. Ambiance. Staff. Art deco decor. Views. Lobby music.Thoughtfully restored property. Great city walking in all directions especially south through downtown, stunning architecture/buildings and to the river. Plus a People Mover station is across the street from hotel.

Even for a studio, the room was small. One of the two elevators was often not working, but no real wait times. Wifi not the best. Maybe a tad overpriced. Dark lighting which is both cool yet annoying at the same time! You need a flashlight to get ice in the basement level.

Location was fantastic! Though we were told otherwise, it was awesome that we arrived, and valet was quick and efficient, and very polite as well. To our surprise, the room was also ready nice and early, so we were able to unload before hitting the town. Very unique room! We loved it, and even took some fun pictures of the little touches that made it special.

We were on an end room, and though it’s nothing that can be the fault of the property, from the fourth floor, the people outside and on the ground below are very loud, very late at night… Very late. Didn’t get much sleep, but I’m sure if you’re in an inside room that’s not an issue. And, no USB port of any kind in the room.

Beautiful furniture and decor, everything is actual antique and absolutely gorgeous. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We ate at the bar and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.

It was a little bit loud because of the concert happening at a nearby stadium and what sounded like drag racing on the street below, but it wasn’t any worse than being in NYC. The TV didn’t have streaming services available on it while plugged into the Ethernet but when I unplugged it I could use my phone as a hotspot and watch YouTube.

This is a lovely boutique hotel right next to the Detroit Opera House and all the sports venues. It is steps from the FREE Q Line and Detroit People Mover Transit systems. The hotel is in a restored old building (Wurlitzer organ factory) and is full of tasteful nods to the past. Don't miss the fabulous 1500 pound retro glass chandelier in the Candy Bar - and don't miss the chance to try one of their cocktails, mixed by friendly and informative bartenders. Our room had all the charm of an old hotel with a high ceiling and mid-century vibe. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a nice view of the city. It's an interesting building with history and super services, but none of that would matter if the staff weren't so wonderful. We were checked in by Ivory, who somehow managed to make our check-in unusually welcoming and informative. I've been checked into hundreds of hotels before and honestly can't remember any names except Ivory! Even if the hotel weren't in a super location and didn't have a wonderful retro ambience, it would still be an unusually excellent hotel because of the team that works there. With the great atmosphere, surrounding cultural attractions, and thoughtfully planned retro decor, this is a perfect hotel for a romantic getaway.

It is a great hotel and exactly as advertised.

Loved the location, the architecture & unique design, the bed and the shower. Great spot for a one night stay. Others mentioned the rooms are small with not a lot of storage which is true, but if you’re only here for a night or two, it’s ideal. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and a hairdryer so you’re set. And there was a wall mounted TV, small armoire and window bench in our Queen Studio suite. You need your key card to use the elevator and I love that added security.

For the price I wish there was a small coffee pot in the room or complimentary drip coffee in the lobby for guests. Thankful for free wifi, but the overall stay was more expensive than we prefer, especially for parking. That being said, we always felt safe, our car was well cared for and our room was great.
