The room price was good on the budget.

The room was not very clean. The air vent in the bathroom was covered in a thick layer of dust. When requesting clean towels and sheets we were told we had to ask that the night before. This was not told to us on check-in. Having the room serviced for trash pick up, clean sheets, and towels should have been explained at check-in. The guests loitering outside was a bit intimidating and not inviting. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was broken and the vending machines were out of service. You could also smell cigarette smoke in the elevator.

Exceptional cleanliness. Staff made us feel like family, from front desk to staff who cleaned the rooms. It was evident that the staff enjoyed each other & enjoyed working there. Rooms were restfully, tastefully designed, decorated, appointed. Enjoyed the window-seat type top for the room AC unit. Space was so thoughtfully used throughout.

I would have to think long & hard to come up with something I didn’t like about the property. OK ,finally thought of something: would love to have real scrambled eggs, crisp bacon as a choice for breakfast (On a low carb diet). Our Howard Johnson stopover served the BEST I’ve ever had, fresh baked Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, in case you’d like to top that!

We visit family often in the Rochester area and this hotel is perfect for us in terms of location, choice of restaurants and shopping opportunities. Mostly this hotel is always clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly!

The parking lines in the parking lot are not very defined. We almost parked in a handicap parking spot not knowing where exactly we were at. There was a time when the trash out front always seemed full, that problem seemingly been corrected.

The room was clean, the staff were super helpful, the WiFi worked for all of my Zoom calls. Bed was soft, and room was perfect for just me. If I was traveling with another, I'd wouldn't get the basic room. Shuttle schedule for Mayo was easy. I liked being close to a neighborhood to go on walks. Also, Target was right up the street with several restaurants nearby.

Breakfast was a bit lacking, more protein options would fix that. Smokers station is set right by entrance - that could fixed by putting an awning out a different door.

3rd floor - quiet hallway electronic key cards (per the norm) breakfast had DIY waffles, 3 different yogurt choices, apple & orange juices as well as coffee 4 different dry cereals and single serve oatmeal assorted pastries as well as toast/english muffins and bagels a nice unexpected choice was the ability to have biscuits with sausage gravey

Location was excellent - lots of eating choices nearby & close to Mayo Clinic. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Would stay again.

Room was a little too warm - could only turn heat on or off, but it was cozy and clean and had everything I needed. Shower wasn’t hot but it worked, and at this price I cannot complain too much.

Good location, clean, comfortable.

The Mayo shuttle bus driver was constantly late and one day went MIA for hours causing me to start using Uber instead. The shuttle isn't owned by the hotel but it is contracted. This could definitely deter people from staying there again. Nobody wants to miss or be late for their appointment or procedures after traveling to come to Mayo.

The room was large, and neat and clean. It was perfect really, for the price I was not expecting something so updated and nice. Everything was so clean and neat. The set up was great and we had a great amount of room.

They needed to put a new toilet seat on the toilet, there was alot of wear on it and it just didn't seem like it could properly be sanitized

Bed was great; shower had lots of water pressure; staff was friendly and helpful; love the location near restaurants and highways; quiet at night. We've stayed there before and will stay again.

It would be nice to have a larger sitting area for family/friends to drop by. Rooms are small, so when we had a group of seven, we needed a bigger space & the lobby area was tight.

Easy to get to, working air, friendly and helpful staff.

The bath/shower had no waterpressure, the tub was discolored, and the water smelled like chlorine. There was another strange smell in the room. I couldn't put a name to... maybe just a cleaner or air freshener I wasn't a fan of...
