We stayed here to extend our stay in Branson, and I wanted to reduce the nightly hotel cost from where we were staying. I used Booking.com to screen different available hotels, and I chose this one based on high reviews. The cost was not the lowest, but they were under $100 per night including taxes and the high reviews hooked me. To start with, they are not on the crowded 76 strip, but are close to it. If you know the back roads around Branson, this is a great location for coming and going. Check in was quick and easy and we found our king room to be large and very clean. The HVAC was easy to operate, and worked well including the availability of a constant fan-on mode that I love because you get constant circulation and a little background noise for sleeping. The king bed was excellent and I slept soundly on it, only using one of the five pillows provided (my wife used two unless sitting up watching TV). The sheets fit properly and stayed snug on the mattress, which didn't happen at my previous hotel. The room had a table and chairs, and well as a large residential recliner that I made great use of. The refrigerator and microwave worked well too. The sink and toilet/bathtub area was also very clean and was all arranged in a welcoming manner, as if I was staying at a lot more exclusive hotel, plus everything worked well. The shower head is tall, and had three nozzle positions which made me and my wife both happy. This hotel uses LARGE bath towels, and we had three of them ready in the room so my wife had an extra for her hair without having to ask for it (happy wife - happy life). I was so happy with how we found the room, that we left a nice tip for the cleaning staff, not just for doing their job, but for doing their job in an excellent manner. From 9PM - 11PM, the hotel offers desserts for an evening snack and had HOT apple or cherry cobbler, ice cream, and cookies. In the morning, a great hot or cold breakfast is available until 10AM.
I was on the third floor, and there is no elevator here. However, because of the hilly landscape, entering on the back of the hotel meant the third floor only had one flight of stairs. I was not a big fan of the provided shampoo and conditioner, although I used it and it did the job.

Leigh the lady at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. Loved the cobbler and cookies in the evening.
Housekeeping came late in the afternoon when we were resting. So we could not get our room cleaned

Staff was friendly and helpful, house keeping was also excellent. location was good for us, breakfast was quite good, with lots of selection (both hot and cold) and an ice cream, cobbler and cookie bar was furnished from 9PM to 11PM.
The breakfast bar though very complete was not handicap accessible, being 17 steps above the main floor with no elevator (or ramp).. There was a sign informing you to use the handrail (though the handrail was only present on one side of the stairway)

The location and check in time of the hotel were important due to a 4 pm event. When I reserved the room, I asked to check in at 2:30 pm (usual time 3 pm) and was approved for earlier time. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed being on the 3rd floor. A bonus value of this hotel includes the apple and cherry cobblers with small cup of ice cream for a late evening snack plus hot and cold items for breakfast.
The smoke detector made a chirping noise. I spoke with the front desk about a new battery. Maintenance arrived 5 minutes later and changed the battery - problem solved. Two of the five lights over the sink appeared to be burned out. I was told there is a wiring issue in the base of those 2 lights and that is why they don't work.

The room was really clean as well as the entire property. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty good and the cobbler was delicious. Our kids really enjoyed the nightly dessert. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
My only complaint is that the pool needs to be re-labeled, it said 5 foot and was at least 6 foot. For us it wasn't a problem because we always check the depth 1st before letting our kids go in, however I can see this being potentially unsafe for other guest.

Clean spacious rooms. But the best selling point is the food included in the price. Breakfast was great with a lot of options (both hot and cold) and each night there are cookies or cobblers as well as ice cream.
Small quibble, but the shower turns in a unique way. My wife had not planned to get her hair wet but was drenched when having to pull the lever under the faucet. There are notes posted on tub wall about how the shower works, so others must have had issues in the past. But only a minor issue. Also, would have liked there to be a microwave I'm the room.
