The common areas of the hotel were gorgeous and I was very impressed! The room was very disappointing!

The room was very disappointing! If the room i got was the picture I saw on line I would have never of booked at the hotel. I would have stayed nearby and visited the hotel. I felt like I was in the servants room! The furniture was old chipped and ugly!

Celebrating another anniversary at the Omni Mount Washington Hotel! I've been coming here since 2016, and each visit is a pleasure. After last year, I made sure to book our table at Stickney's well in advance, and dinner was fantastic! We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails, and the staff and waiters were wonderfully courteous throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back next year to celebrate, and I highly recommend the Omni Mount Washington for a memorable stay.

My room was upgraded, which seemed great at first, but the new room was actually one floor down (3rd instead of 4th), directly under a very noisy family. It sounded like they were stomping around until 2:00 a.m., though things eventually quieted down so we could sleep. The bigger surprise, however, was the new $20 self-parking fee for overnight guests, which wasn't charged last year and caught me off guard during checkout. I learned this is part of Omni's updated parking policy: "Overnight Guests: Valet Parking $35 / Self-Parking $20; Day Guests: Valet Parking $25 / Self-Parking $10." This charge is in addition to their existing $45 resort fee, which I was already aware of.

It was definitely a grand resort. High ceilings and a tremendous room overall. Loved the views all around, and enjoyed the historical tour that really made it feel special. It was great that there were shuttles to bring us between buildings/inns. Loved the gondola ride. Good restaurants, too!

Having to pay for parking per night when it's already a pricey resort was disappointing. The room was beautiful, but -as others pointed out- you can see the age in some of the spaces and it wasn't as clean as I'd hope (a hair was left on shower wall and a used floss was on the carpet upon arrival).

Oddly for such a beautiful hotel and an Omni brand, the one thing that should come easy to them was kind of a disaster - the mattress and pillows. My hip joints ached from the old, settled and bottomed out mattress. The pillows were 3/4” thick if you lay them just right. I am 47, so maybe it’s just me, but I think I will start traveling with my own pillows, just in case facility pillows are not up to snuff. If I could bring a mattress though, I would do that too.

The Mt Washington is a wonderful old historic hotel and the location can't be beat. Public spaces are elegant and sumptuous, and there are endless verandas with comfy chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Rooms tend to be on the small side since the hotel was built around 1900, but everything was updated and comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a slightly larger room with a mountain view which was lovely. The bathroom was large, with marble floors, and there was an enormous closet for your things (or your hatboxes if you still travel with those). The location is perfect for access to the Cog Railway up Mt Washington, or for the many hiking trails in the White Mountains. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Since the hotel is rather isolated, dining and shopping is limited to the hotel unless you want to drive. There are a couple of decent down-home restaurants within 15-20 minutes if you don't want to eat at the hotel. My main complaint is the price. While it's obviously a high end resort, the mediocre breakfast buffet (not included in the price) was over $80 for two people which is pretty ridiculous. On another day we drove 15 min to a place in Twin Mountain that was a wonderful local diner with amazing breakfasts for less than half that price. Dinner in the two hotel restaurants was similarly overpriced. Very good food, and excellent service, but quite expensive. All in all, a wonderful place to treat yourself for a couple of days, and enjoy the luxurious surroundings, but expect to pay.

The historical building with astonishing overall design everywhere, starting from the hall and rooms, plenty of space to get alone and enjoy the atmosphere, there history of the place is so exciting. It is like traveling in time. Don't skip the hotel tour available for free for all guests. The hotel is amazing, the spa is okay, we have been only in outdoor pool, and we loved that experience. The coffee shop downstairs with plenty chose of fresh pastries is really good.

Restaurant is overpriced for that variety of food, breakfast and dinner is probably okay, I didn't say that the food was bad, but it could be better I guess.

The location is perfect. The staff, from front desk to wait staff to housekeeping, were friendly and attentive. The views from the veranda lovely.

I’m disappointed that visitors who are not guests at the hotel are charged a fee to park. I have fond memories of walking around the property as a child, and returning with my own children as an adult. We were never charged a fee. The Mt Washington is a resort, and I appreciate the expense of maintaining the property, but I think it should be open to everyone.

Loved sitting by the fire, and in the observatory reading and having a drink. The cave is amazing. We came for our 40th and were upgraded to a wonderful room, it was a dream of ours to stay in this magnificent hotel. The 2 day stay was everything we hoped. Breakfast was yummy (didnt have dinner in the 1902, just a bit too expensive) , Stickiness was comfortable and cozy. The hotel is gorgeous..and the staff amazing. Thank you!!!!!

I loved my stay. My wife also enjoyed the hotel greatly. My one concern was that I was under the impression that we were given a complimentary room upgrade due to it being the first night staying with you. Unfortunately I incurred an extra 210.00 dollar charge. We were disappointed that this occurred because complimentary means free to us. I would have passed on the upgrade if I knew it wasn't free. Other than that our stay was exceptional.

The complimentary upgrade was not free as we thought. I could the 210 charge on my email receipt after getting home. I would have not paid the 210 if I known. Otherwise exceptional stay.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience during checkout at the Omni Hotel. I was incorrectly charged twice for dinner at The 1902 Main Dining Room. Despite paying the waiter directly with my credit card, the same amount was billed to my hotel account. Resolving this error at checkout was a frustrating ordeal due to the staff's apparent disbelief and mistrust, which made the process unnecessarily prolonged and unpleasant.
