Breakfast was excellent. Kitchen staff was pleasant and had smiles on their face. I am dealing with joint/muscle issues, kitchen staff noticed and offered to retrieve my tray (extremely helpful). Customer service was excellent, front desk personnel was pleasant and helpful. I originally asked for a King size bed when making my reservation with Booking.com. When I arrive to Embassy Suites, I was assigned a room with 2 queen size beds, that is what Booking.com requested (error). Front desk accommodated my request and had me moved to a room with a King size bed (great customer service).

Housekeeping only came once to bring clean towels. I really didn't inquire about when housekeeping comes around, I had to request for our room to be cleaned. There was renovation being done at the front entrance (where ramp is located). We had to detour to an area that required going up/down steps. I had a full right knee replacement, the steps were difficult going up and down, especially having to haul (3) luggages, my husband was able to lug our baggage's down steps. It would have helped to have a ramp in this area.

The room was huge which for a 4 night trip was really nice. The fridge had a small freezer section that worked wonderfully and the bar had a sperate little sink. The blinds were great and kept the room nice and dark. The bathroom is massive with a tub you could swim in. Lots of walkable restaurants nearby but the hotel breakfast looked amazing if you just wanted to stay in. The pool is short but a simple rectangle that never had kids in it so we were able to swim "laps". The gym was large and had sufficient weights and machines to get in a solid workout. You can easily do your cardio outside the hotel as out back is a lovely neighborhood where I felt totally safe running solo.

The bar and restaurant is completely sperate from the hotel so you don't have the ease of ordering and billing to your room. Not a big deal at all but I've never run into that before.

The gym was good, although some the machines were not working. The rooms were spacious and modern. The restaurant and free wine and snack were awesome. The "snack" was an expensive cheese board. Wow I didn't expect that. Especially these days. The hotel staff was freindly and knowledgeable. The restaurant staff as well. You could overhear orher patrons as well praising the wait staff. And the restaurant supervisor was very complimentary of the staff. Great team in place there.

The valet was a little overwhelmed, but it was the weekend of the eclipse, so I'm sure he was not ready for that level of business. But I understand you can't bump up staff just for one weekend.

Hotel was clean and a wonderful location. Staff was wonderful and helpful Rooms were very large and easily accommodated out family of 5.

There was no binder in the room with the hotel details - which would have been nice. I had to call the front desk to ask a couple of questions. Staff was always very helpful. No towels in the pool, but we found a few in the men's washroom We arrived around 930 to breakfast and it was incredibly busy (we were warned and should have been there earlier) staff were wonderful andvworking to fill trays as quickly as possible however coffee and food trays were often empty

Corner suite room with an amazing view of both the city as well as the water. Staff was phenomenal. Especially the bar manager and bartenders. Very nice patio area right outside with fire pits. Location is central to several bars and restaurants.

We requested additional towels twice during our stay was told both times that the hotel didn't have any clean towels on hand. 2 pool towels were eventually brought up to our room on the day of check out.

The typical Embassy Suites never disappoints with its suite room layout. Ours was spacious. We were situated right in the heart of town. The staff was attentive and professional. The on site bar was in a more private area feeling more like a bar/restaurant. Breakfast was good and area was well run.

Not a criticism but more of a comment - for the size of the hotel, the breakfast area got very congested by 9 am due to its space restrictions. Just a heads up, it’s Valet Only at $25 a day

The breakfast was good. There was a chef there incase someone wanted a omelet or something special. I just wish there wasn't only pork sausages. I love the fact that the staff was helpful and pleasurable. Me and my kids enjoyed ourselves. The front desk staff and breakfast crew for the two days we was there was nice.

The only things I didn't like was the rugs had dust around the edges near the window and close to the wall where I slept. My daughter loved to play on the rug until she started to sneeze.

The hotel is beautiful! The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. The next thing I noticed when we got off the elevator onto the 5th floor, was how wonderful it smelled! You normally don’t get that from many hotels. The room was lovely and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and such a huge variety of items to choose from. We will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future!

The room was very spacious and clean. Liked the location on the hotel.

Bed was uncomfortable. No pool at hotel. What bothered us the most was the hotel bar closing down so early on a night when there was a NHL game in town. There were a bunch of us that came back from the game with the intention of having a few cocktails at the hotel bar when we got back from the hockey game and the bar was already closed down for the night. With the amount of hockey fans staying in their hotel you would have thought they would have tried to accommodate us.

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. The property was also very clean and well maintained.

The hotel offered free breakfast. It was clearly too busy for the two staff members to keep up with. Tables went uncleared forcing people to wait. The food was good but not great. Standard breakfast fare for the most part. Scrambled eggs were overcooked and not seasoned. The milk pitcher was empty and took the staff a long while to refill.
