The Edward is a wonderful hotel - I stayed there during a recent business trip and was delighted with every aspect of my stay. The hotel is stylish and beautifully designed; the rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable; the location is ideal; and the atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and cozy. The hotel has a self check-in system that is secure, safe, and easy to navigate. And, the owner - Erin - was so helpful and accommodating during my stay. I recommend The Edward unreservedly - it is a lovely place to stay!

very funky and fun place. All communication is done via text. Check in with code for front door and room. NO staff present. Room lovely and warm and comfortable. Bath is great. They could use a few more extras. Better bedside lighting and a few more things like lotion in the bathroom. There is no elevator so getting even small luggage up to the 2nd floor was a so so. We are seniors but in good shape but next time we will ask for 1st. Free parking is a plus as well. This is a wonderful hotel and the text person or AI is super responsive.
told you all that above. Very good housekeeper! They ask every day via text when you would like the service.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, charming and clean. I loved looking at the details and appreciate the thoughtfulness and put into making it cozy for it's guests. The fireplace, tub, and bed were definitely highlights for our romantic evening. It was also really nice to have tea and snacks available in the sitting area.
The room was very well appointed. I would suggest leaving a few feminine products in the bathroom. I unexpectedly started my cycle and would have loved to find supplies in a drawer to get me by until I could run out to a store. Obviously not the owners responsibility, but I know every woman would appreciate the assist.

Had a late appointment in Buffalo one evening followed by an early appointment the next day so my wife and I decided to stay in the city and make a night out of it. We booked sort of last minute and even though we'd never heard of this place before we were pleasantly surprised. The property is pretty unimposing from the outside, but we loved the ease of parking and self check-in. It was great to use the codes and not have to wait in line or fill out paperwork to check-in. We could go right to our room which was the Kennedy suite. Very spacious and comfortable, with a bed and ample sitting area. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. The huge tub was the show stopper though. I took a long bubble bath and could've stayed in there all night! I hardly wanted to go out for dinner, the place was so cozy. The room was also much quieter than expected even though it's in a relatively well traveled part of town. If we stay up in Buffalo again we will certainly check availability here first.

The location was good, quite neighbourhood. I booked into this hotel because of the ratings as to how clean it was, that was an important criteria. Was there for one night. Erin from the hotel was in touch with me via text, provided all the information I needed to enter the Hotel as I did not know what time I would check in. The room also had information of restaurants within walking distance and that was helpful as we checked in late.
There was nothing to dislike. Only issue I had was locating the Hotel as I did not see any sign with the Hotel name on the building, but it could be my oversight if there was one, since I checked in late and it was raining.

Lovely Boutique Hotel with a warm and clean atmosphere...I felt right at home in Room! I would love my adult children to join us there next time.
A little In Person help would have been nice. No matter what you say...a charming concierge is always helpful in person. There's no service for food and you can just warm up in the microwave. A lovely Breakfast would have been a plus as the charm of the hotel can add more to that experience.

We needed a place just for one night, driving through. Glad we stayed here! It was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the place is really unique. So many cool and ornate touches!
They mention a lot with first-com-first-serve, free parking, but that "lot" appeared to only have four spaces available. They did clearly describe the other options - free street parking if available and I think a paid lot across the street. Luckily we found free street parking right outside. We arrived late at night, so i'm not sure if it would be more difficult earlier in the day.

The Edward is a beautiful old building with gorgeous, newly restored rooms. We had a huge king bed and a beautiful bathroom, all tastefully decorated with quality finishes. There were snacks in the atrium area and we nabbed one of the open parking spaces in their lot. It was near a lively street of restaurants, shops, and coffee bars and we loved walking to get coffee in the morning and looking at the funky houses in the historic neighborhood.
This contactless, personless hotel is just a bit of a strange genre. We got clear instructions for how to get in and had few problems once we understood how to activate the electronic keypad. There's just something a little eerie about staying in a place where you never see or talk to anyone. It felt like an old-school, high-end B&B but with no conversation and no breakfast. I understand that's what's being pitched here, just not sure how I feel about it.

My husband and I visited The Edward hotel for the first time and we will most definitely be back again soon. the Chelsea suite was emasculate , sparking clean , the most comfortable bed , simple cute and cozy. the digital door code made for a very convenient and easy no contact check in and no need for a room key. the price is adorable for those on a tight budget. Our new favorite spot for sure !

The property has such a vintage flare on the corridors and the rooms itself. The Check in process was so easy and convenient for no one being on the property. Everything is sent to you for easy access. The Kensington Suite was amazing, I haven’t slept that great in awhile beds were so plush and the LED lighting and fire place really helped with setting the mood in the room. The bathroom was very large and the shower and bath tub were so accommodating in regards to size.
The parking lot has a total of maybe 6 parking spots, so you have to chance maybe not having a parking spot. Thankfully we were able to have a parking spot upon arrival.
