Room was great. Great friendly staff

As a swimmer, I was annoyed that the pool was closed. Brought popcorn to use in the microwave that is mentioned on the website. Couldn't find one? I saw an ala carte item on the breakfast menu. Poached egg in a Hollandaise sauce on a bun. I was looking forward to having one professionally cooked for me. I spoke to my wife about this before we began our trip. A team member informed me that they were no longer on the menu and that the website needed to be updated? Did not offer to have one prepared? Always a line up for the elevators. We were informed that one of them was not working? Why not?

Large rooms, especially the suites, was lucky to get both joining rooms. Starbucks in the lobby. Lovely bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy, huge beds. Good air-con. Stayed at part of our national hockey team they weee so accommodating.

.the book I g said breakfast included however no one seemed to know about it. There’s a breakfast menu but couldn’t get an answer if I could chose an item and it was free so ended up going to a few local places instead with more options.

The staff members were very courteous and helpful but obviously over worked. The beds were very comfortable. The furniture appeared to need some updating but was clean and maintained

I found the lack of wash cloths to be disturbing. Although the staff was very helpful and courteous, there simply were not enough of them. I noted only one housekeeper on my floor. I was informed at check in that room cleaning was done after 4 days, We had to contact the front desk for coffee each morning. I also did not like that I had to pay to park $20.00 per day. I stayed 8 days, and was informed of this at check in.

Location, amenities, ambiance

This property should carry spare smartphone chargers, either for guests to borrow or to purchase at the small shop near the check in desk area. I forgot to pack my iphone charger and my phone was nearly dead. I asked guest services and they denied having any on the premises. Fortunately, one of the staff members let me borrow theirs. Please consider setting up/building a charging station, such as those you see in airports.

The lobby was absolutely beautiful

The pool was closed The maids entered our bedrooms at 9:30 am to “clean”. We were all still in bed. The tub did not drain so after each family member showered, the water in the tub was ankle deep. However, when we mentioned the issues to the front desk at check out they were more than helpful and comped our parking for the trouble which was appreciated.

Location was excellent. Close to the arena and the free trolley car. Good restaurants around the hotel as well.

The lobby bar was not open late enough considering most people were at a concert that ended at 10:30 it was disappointing that the hotel had no offerings for drinks or food when we all got back.

Not good. They wanted $21 per person for breakfast buffet

Pool wasn't working

The staff was exceptional at all levels. What a welcoming atmosphere. Efficient, friendly, and excited about pleasing. Love the new decor and the lobby was so warm and relaxing. Loved the room, a bit small but the bed was very comfortable and the decor very warm. Loved the historical pictures of Buffalo throughout. Liked that you needed your room pass to enter the hotel after 11 pm. Very safe. Great location too.

I was just disappointed that the pool was closed. Noone to blame, it was under renovation.

Email confirmation said check-in at 3:00. We arrived at 3:45 and they wouldn’t let us check in. We sat in the lobby with all our luggage on a cart for about 20 mins. waiting for them to reach housekeeping to see if it was clean.
