Location was excellent. Room was pleasant and comfortable. It had everything I needed. Staff were very good from the doormen, to reception to bar staff. Good work!

There should have been some sort of buffet breakfast as part of price. Even if it was just coffee and pastries. Having to buy these on top was a little annoying. Also, the Patio bar was barely open while I was there and shut at 10pm with a full hotel in summer?? This seemed missed opportunity. The main bar was pleasant but again, closed very early.

It was beautiful. I should have been told about the extra for incidentals when I booked through Booking.com, because I thought everything was included. This experience helped me understand my Kingdom position in society. Love the guys in valet parking so accommodating because I was in and out several times and I didn’t tip them until just before I departed. The bellhops (?) were very helpful to me when I arrived, I forgot cash so I didn’t have any tip money to tip the young man who brought my luggage up (Daniel?) and didn’t think to ask about his CashApp.

No dislikes on my part.

You can take the long island railroad with luggage and walk to the hotel it is that close and it's a lovely walk across the street. They have absolutely everything you could want or need at the hotel and it is absolutely gorgeous. Definitely book your spa appointments ahead of time that is no pop in service :-). Anthony, Luis, Jillian, Connie SO SO good at what they do, thank you! There are so many little outdoor spaces, the patio bar is a little garden bar with live music & cocktails, there are Adirondack chairs and picnic tables in the grass all by themselves. Dinner at the King Bar was sublime and I didn't get to experience the Speakeasy Whiskey Bar but if you go in the winter I would say go, it sounds like so much fun!

This is such a minor odd thing but the shower is narrow, I'm not huge and I bumped my elbow on the shampoo bottles, my butt or hip on the soap dish/ grab rail and the shower curtain won't stay open, it keeps sliding to the center of the rail. There is zero sound proofing on the door leading to the hallway so if you have a noisy neighbor and you are a light sleeper you will hear it!

A beautiful hotel with every amenity you could need, or that you didn't think you needed but did! The staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable, and always attentive. The hotel grounds and surrounding town were absolutely stunning, each showing off it's summer splendor. Garden City is aptly named!

Regrettably, we were there for only 2 days but plan to come back to enjoy all that the hotel, town, and Long Island have to offer!

It was clean, well kept, staff is attentive, and it’s very close to the Long Island RR train station for a trip to New York City.

We had booked with them two months in advance. At the time of booking, the policy did say it was nonrefundable. Despite my asking several different times for consideration of our extenuating circumstances, they did not change their mind. Be aware that you probably won’t be able to either if the same situation arises.

The breakfast was superb. Tremendous variety and all the food was delicious. Service for breakfast was very good! Dinner was excellent food. But service was slow at times fulfilling simple requests such as water and initial coffee request.

Although the food was superb and room's ambience was lovely, the $41 tab for the bkfast buffet was a bit steep!

Location terrific. For the price, breakfast could have been included. Found it impossible from the booking website to tell whether breakfast was included in the room rate or not.

The staff was outstanding. With all the craziness of the wedding each member addressed our needs and helped in facilitating them. The Spa worked with us to the fullest to get us ready. The next day brunch was also absolutely wonderful. Thank you for making our day and stay so memorable ❤️

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was wonderful, it’s a great location across the street from a long island railroad train station. very quiet and nice area.

They charge a $200 deposit at check in which is not included in the total cost on booking.com so it was an unexpected.
