the room was really nice and clean and the staff was nice

they have a pool day party from 12pm to 8pm every day that is not really advertised through booking.com or on the hotel website, so if you get a balcony room you may hear the music from that. the pool is not for use outside of the 21+ day party. it really wasn’t an issue for me, but wasn’t something expected. also if you are staying on the 6th floor there is a penthouse that can be rented out for events, so you can hear the music/noise from that until 11:30. you can also hear everything going on in the hallways, doors slamming, etc.

It's close to the city at half the cost. The E train brings you from Penn Station to two subway stations near the hotel (15-20 minute walk) in under 20 minutes. There are a few breweries and restaurants within walking distance and a park across the street. I was there on a week day and was not bothered by noise from the hotel, outside traffic or club near by. Secure parking is available and affordable. My room had a balcony, safe, bathtub, separate shower and mini fridge. It was spacious and comfortable. Furnishing showed some wear but it was clean and comfortable. Nice people at check in.

the man at the desk told me they don't except pre-paid cards when my card wasn't even pre- paid. if there was a issue it should have been handled prior to me paying and arriving

Quieter location than Manhattan. Easy to walk to subway. Has the Summer Club attached. Water and coffee station in reception which I was grateful for. Most staff were nice. Towels replaced daily and my bed sheets were changed after I got a mess on them from liquids in my case leaking. Beds comfortable. Fridge and coffee maker in room.

We had a ground floor room so obviously don’t want the curtains open when getting ready but there is no good vanity lighting in the room (112). Could have done with a mirror at the desk where there is a lamp.

i like that we had a balcony in our room I thought it was absolutely wonderful. i like they had a place for us to park at.

The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to pay for parking but overall this is a great hotel.

The room was amazing, very big, clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom, the balcony with Manhattan view (even if partial) is a nice plus. 10 minute walk to three different subway stations which take you to Manhattan in 20 minutes or less. Very good value and definitely a great option if you don’t want to stay in Manhattan.

Maybe would be nice to have a few more food options inside the hotel (there are none beside some vending machines) since there is nothing within immediate proximity. Everything is about 10 minute walking distance where the subway station is.

Very nice hotel, seems reasonably newly constructed. Bathroom toiletries all provided, including hair dryer. Good size room, with balcony & outdoor furniture. Comfortable bed. Excellent and helpful staff.

Hotel is located in a semi-industrial area, at least 5 blocks walk to shops, restaurants & the riverfront park spaces, so difficult to use as a 'base of operations' to explore Queens. The room design is oddly unique. There is only a half wall between the bed and bathroom. Privacy (if room has more than 1 occupant) is provided by opaque glass doors for the toilet & shower, but otherwise you can see (& smell!) everything going on in the bathroom if you are on the bed or sitting on the sofa/couch.

Size of the room was great. The bathroom was cool. The overall aesthetic was nice. The guy who checked me in was very friendly and funny.

The view was of a city power plant or something like that. I thought I'd have a room higher up. Thr bedding was not clean it looked like the pillows hadn't been washed in a long time. It took me 20 minutes to turn the TV on bc you can't turn it on with the remote. I had to push buttons on the TV.

The view from our balcony was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Coffee station for free morning coffee and tea. Spacious room. Late checkout if asked.

The hotel is a bit far from subway, 10-15 minutes walk. Also, all the facilities (shops, restaurants) are 10 minutes walk. With luggage it was a bit uncomfortable, but otherwise fine to start and end the day with 10-15 minutes walk. The water pressure in shower was weak.
