Room was very neat and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom included a nice roomy shower with soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Towels were good. Toilet paper was super thin. Front desk and kitchen staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not as good as typical Hampton Inn or equivalent. Scrambled eggs were too dry and the sausage was totally overcooked and salty. Other options were available, including apples, bananas, oatmeal, bagels, breads, etc. Coffee was good.

Outstanding room cleanliness, friendly housekeeping staff who mop daily, and leave the room sparkling. Filling buffet breakfast with choice of fruit, bakery, eggs, bacon, sausage. Tea and coffee available 24 hours in reception. Fantastic roof view. Bedroom basic but functional, mini fridge useful. Very close to a metro station

I disliked the hundred dollar deposit as this is not usual in U.K. Breakfast room has limited tables, and we had to share on one morning, but we did get a table each morning.

Good value compared to hotels in Manhattan and only two stops on subway Line E to 5th Avenue. Breakfast was simple, but plentiful and included in the price, unlike many hotels in NY which cost a lot more and don't even give you a bagel and coffee without extra charge. It's also really easy to get to JFK airport on Line E for a $3 single fare. Just take the subway out to Jamaica and then get the JFK air train.

The view from the rooftop was a beaut! The location was great - very close walk to a few subway stations. There's also a grocery store plus a brewery nearby. The room was pretty basic but it had the necessary amenities. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was more than what we expected. Long Island City was really nice and we will definitely stay at LIC hotel again. If you're driving, they have their own parking lot with an extra fee as well.

The wifi was spotty, we ended up just using our own data while at the hotel. The fitness center had sparse equipment.

At arrival, I was a bit disappointed as the building looks more like a motel than a NYC hotel. However, the room was actually pretty nice: good size, comfy bed, fridge, and I had requested a quiet room so it was top floor and end of the corridor. The hotel is just one block from Court Sq metro station with exellent connections to Manhattan. There are restaurants and shops nearby (as well as two microbreweries and a MoMA side show). Breakfast was included.

The gym had only two exercise bikes and three walkers in a tiny space. No bar or restaurant

Super clean hotel! Perfect if you’re looking for an affordable place near all the touristic attractions, close to the Subway. The terrace is so beautiful and the rooms were comfortable, I would recommend! Ps: Try the restaurant Lupo Rosso one street from the hotel, they have the best wings we have ever eaten!

The neighborhood looks very lonely at night, wouldn’t recommend if you’re going by yourself, not that nothing happened but I’m a scary cat 😂

This hotel is a real bargain in NYC. I booked it because it is a short walk from my daughter's apartment and it has parking. I didn't use the subway this trip but there are two train stations close-by and it's just one or two stops into Midtown Manhattan. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and adequate and they have a decent breakfast. I will definitely consider staying here again the next time I go to New York.

I would recommend ear plugs for sleeping, but this is true of all hotels in the city. The ice in the ice machine was a little weird and hard to break up to put in a glass or water bottle. Be aware that parking lot is small and only available on a first-come first-serve basis.

This hotel has a great values on many aspects. First, the breakfast was excellent, the crews were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast itself were delicious and well prepared. All that were served tasted really good. Even my children very happy with the breakfast., they did not just throw some ingredients and cook it, instead they made it out of scratch and it tasted good and fresh! Second, the cleaning service staff are super excellent! They cleaned our room very neatly and they gave a bottle of water everyday. Third, the customer service ladies and gentleman were great. they were very helpful. We were trying to see how it feels to use a subway, the front girl even printed the directions (unbelievably nice service)! Last but not least, when we first got there our hot shower did not work, we called the front desk - they responded right away and changed the room and we were able to enjoy our hot shower in the middle of winter season. If I knew this hotel was that great I would stay in LIC for all 2 weeks of our vacation. The most important thing in this business is a friendly, nice, knowledgeable and down to earth staff, and I can attest that LIC hotel has it all. CONGRATULATIONS on being a very good hotel, If I can give it 11 out of 10, I would. My children said the same thing. Thank you for having us as your guests.

I like everything about this hotel. I cannot find anything that I did not like. They are very friendly to children which makes it even very enjoyable to stay in.

Hotel is very close to metro (around 5 min walking) and you can get in 15 minutes to Times Square or Central park. This is ideal spot to explore NY city. Very good breakfast served on real plates (no plastic) with real cutlery (no plastic). Comfortable room with everything you need. Fantastic roof terrace with seating and view of Manhattan, ideal for evening chillout with wine in hand.

Booking says parking is available and does not need to be booked beforehand. In reality, only 15 spots are available and once they are taken, there is no more parking left. Luckily, receptionist was really trying to help us and in the end we were able to find a good solution. The wording on Booking should be updated though as the parking space is not a given.

Everything was absolutely great during our week long stay at the hotel. Very clean with daily change in towels and housekeeping. The best value for money one can find. The location is accessible with various metro lines and it is a short walk to the river for great views. We also loved the breakfast, freshly prepared and warm. It is a big thing to have a good morning meal as it saved us a lot of extra costs. Rooftop view is also a highlight and accessible throughout the day. Will definitely stay there again when we are back in the city.

Our view from the room was on the parking and street which was not something special, but still quiet.
