I had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric in Charlotte. The valet service is excellent. The front desk staff is attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The property is well kept and maintained with a cool vibe and ambiance. It's centrally located to some great restaurants. The beds are comfortable, and there are USB ports and smart TVs that are compatible with Google chrome cast. I stayed in a studio and it was quite spacious.

I wish there was a bit more equipment in the gym like barbells, leg machines and a stair master. However, the gym is spacious, and the equipment is good enough to get in a decent workout.

My wife was pleased so I was pleased.

The staff were great!!!! The energy from the moment we pulled up was awesome! I highly respected seeing the vallet open the door for my wife every time we pulled up and always offered to help with luggage. Vallet was quick and always made sure the car was secure and locked if they had to walk away from our vehicle. The front desk staff was awesome and full of energy! The room was elegant, spacious & super clean!!! This is a 100% a hotel I will come back to for sure!

The hotel was in a good location. Close to several food places and a Walgreens. Staff was friendly.

Only issue was a sensor light on the side of the bed. It is supposed to come on at night when you walk around so you can see. However, on one side of the bed, the sensor was malfunctioning and coming on all through the night and waking us up at times. We finally just put a towel over the light so we could sleep. Other than that, the room was nice. Did see one small roach.

The pillows on the bed were flat as a pancake. That really took away from my experience with the hotel. I was in disbelief that such a beautiful space had such flat pillows. And they only put “Two” on each bed. Even with two smushed together they were flat.The worst hotel pillows ever.

Hotel is located in upscale beautiful neighbourhood. Free parking very nearby. Recep staff and valet team are all friendly and informative. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The shower and toilet doors are somewhat translucent especially when the lights are on. We booked a twin bed and a queen room. Only the twin bed room comes with a sliding door to block out view of the bath area. No daily house-keeping.

The staff was great and seemed to want to be there. The place was newer than other places. The room smelled and looked clean when entering. Dining inside you could have delivered if you wanted to. They kept up with the cleaning daily if requested. Had great assistance and positive experience with staff.

I wish it was a bit cheaper, but worth it compared to other places.

My husband didn’t like the shower being open once you step out of the shower. We stayed in the King studio style room. Also the young lady cleaning didn’t speak English so we couldn't communicate with her. That was a challenge . She was a sweet you lady she just didn’t understand us asking if she could clean our room. I would suggest maybe English classes because she appeared to be frustrated because she didn’t understand us. We called our daughter to interpret for us. She speaks Spanish fluently . My husband and J speak a little. However our stay was great ! Staff was friendly . Room was clean and the restaurant food and outside view was amazing!

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The hotel itself is a beautiful property and feels new. The location is in the heart of SouthPark, and there are many dining and shopping options within walking distance.

I didn't particularly appreciate that the self-parking was next to the hotel in a lot covered in rocks. There were not a lot of spots which made parking challenging. Also, the checkout time on the door in the room is noon but the real checkout time is 11 AM, which led to confusion. The checkout time on the room door should be updated.

Loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were plush with large showers, nice storage, and great black-out shades. I especially loved the motion-activated night lights under the bed. The gym exceeded expectations; very spacious with numerous spin bikes, free weights, treadmills, etc. I also enjoyed two meals at the 2nd floor bar. Ivey was very personable and gave great service. The food was also excellent! Oh, and the easy walk to the mall and shopping center was great!

Nothing could have been better!
