The room was very large with 2 comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. The location was fairly close to the airport and the Arrowood train station was just a short drive away to get into the city. This was a good alternative to avoid the traffic and looking for a parking spot in the city.

Like most hotels/motels, the breakfast was served on paper plates with plastic fork, knife and spoon. I think hotels in this category should do more for the environment. I think we as hotel guests should make it clear to the hotels that this is not acceptable.

Very pleasant stay. When we checked everyone in the front desk was very nice and attentive which was a green flag and good first impression of the hotel. When we arrived at our room it was clean and presentable. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The name of the hotel sums it up perfectly, it’s an EXPRESS hotel. I would say this is an overall great hotel to spend the night as it is 20 min away to Uptown Charlotte, 8 minutes away from the Premium Outlets and 10 minutes away from Southwest mall. I would recommend if you’re looking for a decent nearby hotel at a reasonable price!

The only reason it’s not a 10/10 is because the breakfast was not good. I’ve stayed at a bunch of other hotels with different prices and they’ve all served decent breakfasts. The food here was eatable but not tasty. I think this hotel is mainly meant to just stay the night!

This was one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in..from the pretty building's front entrance it even got better inside... greetings,smiles,clean room (bed/pillows felt so cozy;us short people could use a bed ladder lol)no traffic noise, breakfast hot,well prepared & more important is the sweet lady who did it all(she deserves a raise-- she even mopped with a smile on her face!)the hotel is closed to #77 interstate, restaurants,etc .we went to Atrium health care and even with traffic made it there within 20-25 mins.. would recommend this hotel highly.we would rather be in a clean,friendly place like this than a no-smile high-rise

I've always stayed at this hotel due to how close it is to the Operation Christmas Child facility, restaurants, and it's not too far from a large shopping mall. This trip my stay was to attend a conference with my area team. Everything was great, as always. Staff were friendly and helpful as always. The room is clean, comfortable, and quiet, as always. Breakfast is good. Highly recommend staying at this location.

The elevator! This hotel could benefit by adding another elevator. The elevator could be upgraded to be faster and more room. It's too slow compared to other elevators I've experienced at other hotels. If this location does this one upgrade, it would make a huge difference for guests. I wish they would accept small pets. I like to travel with my chihuahuas. But this location doesn't accept pets.

The ladies on staff were great. They made sure all questions were answered and were very polite. The breakfast was good and there were some good options.

The things that I didn't like were out of the control of the staff, but some of the other guest should be considerate of those around them. There was a group that was in the hall at around 3:30-4 am talking loudly. They were loud enough for me to wake up out my sleep and say some choice words. The other thing was the group of boys that were being rough in the pool without consideration for my girls that were in the pool. My girls just decided that they would leave and go back to the room.

Location was great. I definitely enjoyed the variety of the food offered that was great. I just wasn’t a fan of the eggs kind of watery and I also thought that the biscuits could’ve been fresher.

So I stayed in a room And the window was cloudy and I really couldn’t see out of it. Also I was in a room with a washcloth that was stained with something red on it so it made me question the overall cleanliness of the entire room if they would leave a stained wash cloth in there.

Property very well kept and clean. However, our room could use some updating in the room such as Cosmetic, hardware stuff. New shower heads. Scraping, taping & painted around doors panels, walls ect. We enjoyed our one night stay. If your not looking for it you won’t notice it. Property is very kept well!! No issues! Oh and the breakfast was good too!!

Excellent temperature climate control in room!! Comfortable beds. Clean pillows and pillow cases, sheets ect. Cleaning staff very professional and kind. My twenty year old daughters enjoyed the gym

My wife was very impressed with the cranberry juice at breakfast, and said it is delicious. My children liked the automated pancake machine.

Booking.com only sent over the reservation for one of the two rooms I had reserved. Zack at the late night desk did a great job booking us the second room, next to the first, and was careful to only charge us for two, not three rooms. Give Zack a gold star and a raise, lol. Booking.com gets an F for that one - if there had not been a room available... my vacation would have been ruined.That was a very long drive to get there, and that is rotten surprise. I'm sort of getting mad again right now, thinking about it.

The hotel staff we encountered during our stay were all professional and kind. The room was clean and tidy. We asked for extra bathroom linens and they were provided.

A bottle filler with filtered water would be a bonus. The chlorine smell in the pool area was powerful. Better ventilation might make it more tolerable for some guests.

We had booked to rooms for two guests - but the booking algorithms delivered a “suite” for up to six people in one room. So we had to book a second room on the spot. But that’s Booking.com fault - not the hotel’s.
