I was there last minute due to my mother being across the the street at the hospital. It was an excellent experience with staff. There was one wonderful employee that stood out in my experience. All though the four different desk employees I dealt with were excellent, and exactly who you'd want to be speaking and dealing with even with rough travel and stress goin on. I'd like to point out that Brittany was above and beyond exceptional. She is an amazing employee and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Great job Best Western Plus in Winston Salem!! Thank you. PS: great toilet paper.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the room was nice. Overall I enjoyed my stay, and the breakfast was better than most. The only thing I would say is that they should get an indoor pool to makeup for the hot tub experience the provide. Other than that everything was great and I was very comfortable. The breakfast area was really nice, they had a nice variety, and they have a touch free pancake maker which I thought was really cool and unique.

Ive been to several luxury/high-end hoetels, that have spa baths/jaccuzi/hot tubs or whichever you prefer to call it, and none of them had the actual bath tub as the spa bath so that was a little weird to me. In used to hotels having a separate shower/bath in the room in addition to the hot tub. Also the hot tub wasn't working properly, the tub wouldn't fill up unless I were to adjust it myself which I absolutely was not about to do when I spent my money for quality.

I love that there was free breakfast offered with lots of different options including healthy options and I loved that the mall was right next to the hotel! I was able to do some shopping on my last day in Winston Salem. If I am ever in the area, I would love to stay here again.

I didn't like that most of the cardio machines in the fitness center were broken. The elliptical was also wobbly and unstable.

The room was good, only complaint was the blackout curtain wouldn’t stay closed together so I had a bright construction flood light shining in my face all night. Bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable.

Clerk that checked us in was awful. He was very rude. We were locked out as it was after hours and it took us over 10 minutes to get him in the lobby and for us to get inside. He never told us the room number or anything. Just set the envelope with the keys on the desk. I had to ask if we were finished and then find our room. There were 6 people ( three different client groups) in the lobby that night and the clerk we equally as rude to each one he interacted with.

Front desk staff were kind and professional . The food was good. The cleaning staff were exceptional. Always a smile and professional.

Handicap room at the end of the hallway is to far from the elevator. TV cable wall connection hanging out of the wall. The bathtub slanted toward drain not good for balance for handicap. The shower head leaked and was loose from the wall . The bathtub is too small for the shower chair provided which wobbled.

The lady behind the desk I met upon arrival was the best. Very helpful, friendly & courteous. She even printed out for me where I could find the nearest Verizon hdqtrs. I had cell phone issues. Loved being on the 2nd floor. Parking was just fine. The room was very nice. Coffee was excellent.

I had a hard time figuring out how to make the tub go from bath to shower. Then in figuring out how to cut it off. I was so close to calling the front desk & asking but I happened to stumble on it. The construction going on next door had the brightest lights & my curtains couldn't close all the way which was a headache thru-out the night (I like it dark). The waffle station was out of order & I had my heart set on hotel waffles. I'm more of a bacon man than a turkey sausage man, but that's how it is sometimes. I was bummed about no free local newspaper for guests. Have hotels stopped doing that or just BW Plus? Having once lived in the area, it would've been nice to catch up that way.

Location was decent. Near gas stations and the mall. There is a very large gaming place as well.

It was the wrong type of coffee for the coffee maker. It at k cup coffee for a percolator type coffee maker. The bed was hard and lumpy, and the bathroom was extreamly small.

I liked the convenience of the location from the Benton Convention Center. The hotel always has a good breakfast selection. I love the new coffee/ hot chocolate machine!

I was in room 104. I did not like the shower head! There was no adjusting the way the water came out. The water came out so forcefully that you could feel wind blowing from it! I felt like I was in a monsoon!

We absolutely loved it here! The breakfast was really good, the rooms were comfortable and definitely suited our needs. It was only five minutes away from the Benton convention center which is where we were going to be. It was honestly perfect and the price was great compared to the surrounding hotels in the area.

The breakfast was very limited. We chose to go out to eat because there really wasn’t a choice of food. The gentleman who checked us in was not very welcoming.
