Love the beautiful castle! Our king suite with personal iron wrought gate and flight of stairs was so fancy. It came with a balcony that was pretty to look out of but it was snowing heavily so we didn't use. Room itself had a separate living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchenette and foyer! It was luxurious and facilities like the pool were great as well.

It got really hot at night with no temperature controls. I couldn't see vents so not sure where all the stifling hot air was blasting out of. There was a unit that could cool or heat right next to the bed but we turned it off because it was loud, disruptive and unenjoyable to have on. The rooms need to come with one time use slippers because there were lots of dried salt and dirt from people wearing their boots inside. I had to wipe down these marks on my hands and knees before walking around in socks or bare feet.

We absolutely loved the heart-felt handwritten note the house keeping team left us in the room on the nightstand right next to the king-sized bed. We also appreciated the text Joe, the general manager, sent us detailing us exactly where to find our hotel room key and how to access it. Unfortunately, we were running late to check in. The directions that were provided along with the map was a perfect touch, thank you. The room was absolutely gorgeous and immaculate!! It was quite literally the size of a small studio apartment!! The bed was perfect!! We loved how there was a balcony attached to it and the view from the balcony was awesome!! We loved the heated floor boards in the bathroom and how they didn't get too hot but hot enough to keep it the perfect temperature in the bathroom while using it. The fireplace was super cute as well, especially when we turned it on. That again gave off the perfect amount of heat. We were very thankful for the table that is in the room so that we could eat some late night pizza that we had to order at the last minute due to some unforeseen circumstances that had occurred earlier in the day delaying our trip to Loudenville. The king bed was super comfortable and it was a struggle to stay awake with how great it felt!! The cheese and snack tray along with the bottle of wine that we had ordered extra to be in the room was nice. We devoured the cheese and snack tray since all of it was mouth-watering delicious! The bottle of chardonnay that the hotel staff picked out was on point and was perfect!! My wife loved smelling the wine after she opened it. It smelled so wonderful and it tasted even better!! She had a hard time putting it in the wine glasses that were included in the room!! She wanted to drink straight from the bottle with how delectable the wine was!! We appreciated the included plates and silverware as well since we ended using those to eat our pizza!!

We did not like how we could not figure out how to operate the television but since we had arrived so late we ended up not needing to use it. We also were not too fond of how luke-warm the water from the shower head was. I love the water to almost be scalding hot and to both my wife and I it was only moderately warm. Outside of those two small items everything was perfect!! We can't wait to be back as this was our second time here with the first time occurring during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I loved all the different outside seating areas and the gas fireplaces. The pool, hot tub and sauna were in excellent condition with pool towels readily available. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and nice blankets. The bathrooms were oversized and included bathrobes. The doors, lighted pathways, castle tower climb and balconies were all a delight.

The restaurant had beautiful outdoor and indoor seating but the food was just ok. No complimentary breakfast as it is only offered in the restaurant. Next time I would just pack breakfast foods and eat in the room or at one of the many outside table and chairs.

There’s only about 20 rooms on the property so it’s low traffic. They are kind of spread out across the property. Has beautiful gardens and it’s peaceful. I will definitely be back. The pool and hot tube didn’t have anyone in it. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. The spa bath was also a plus you guys are making me rethink I need to remodel my bathroom.

There’s a lot of walking but that’s kinda what makes the property what it is . Also I didn’t like the limited menu of the restaurant but that’s okay they still had good choices/food .

The area was very secluded and beautiful. Everything in the room worked loved the heated bathroom floors and balconies. Pool house was nice but needs maintenance. Cooper Mug Restaurant was awesome. Staff nice and helpful. Very unique getaway.

Buildings and pool house need maintenance. Hot tub jets didn't work and mold on the ceiling. Not a luxury hotel so... very expensive for what you get. But still worth a one time stay. Winding gravel roads so make sure you have a vehicle that will make it. No elevator to our suite so lots of stairs to carry bags up. First level suites have windows but people walking by.

Comedian - Bobcat Goldthwait was very funny. Food was good. Especially breakfast. Jacuzzi was nice in room. Enjoyed the game room and taking a walk outside on grounds

Robes were warm, but rough on the skin. Tables and chairs in room were small and not comfortable. As big as the rooms are could have a better quality and bigger table and a bigger / comfortable chairs. Room had 2 queen beds, but only 2 chairs to sit - 2 queens could sleep 4 so 4 would be nice.

The castle is lovely and is enclosed on a very nice spot in a hill. All the facilities look very well maintained and our room was quite nice and had good amenities. The restaurant on site was a kind of pricey but the food was good.

The noise. At least in the stables you could hear everything from the room next to us. I was woken up by our neighbors early morning activity. For the price and being out of the castle, I would have expected better.

Love the location and food

When a wedding is taking place only the wedding and wedding guests should be allowed to stay. Staff was stressed and rude do to a wedding taking place when I wanted to check in. (I wasn’t a wedding party guest)

Location is just beautiful, grounds/gardens are exceptional!!

Our mattress was old and very uncomfortable, our room (suite 1) was musty and had no air flow, they had a dehumidifier in room and I emptied it, but room was still too musty to stay in another night, we had to ask to be moved . Our second room was much better!

Exceptional accommodations! The room and property felt straight out of a fairy tale story book! Staff was all friendly!

Overnight parking was a bit of a walk, but not horrible. Something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues.
