The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were quite comfortable. I liked the location; it’s good to have a nice hotel that isn’t downtown or at the airport. Since the Jupiter is situated on the edge between residential and commercial space, it wasn’t hard to find a local coffee shop or pizzeria nearby.

Being in a busier neighborhood amid bars and night clubs, and having its own small-event venue right downstairs, it could get noisy on weekend nights. The toilet & shower area isn’t very closed off from the rest of the room. Guests sharing a room will hear what the other one is doing.

Location was perfect for us, close to downtown and walking distance to great restaurants. We had no issues finding free street parking within a couple of blocks of the hotel every day. The room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. Liked the option of having housekeeping come in every day or not. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy.

Would have preferred to be able to make coffee in the room instead of going down to the lobby in the morning.

The room was large, clean, and comfy. There were lots of clean towels, and you get to choose if you want your room to be cleaned or not, as an action to be more environment friendly. The bar at the lobby is nice and serves good options for cocktails.

I was on a lower floor, and even when the windows were closed, curtains down, you could hear the party across the street.

I absolutely loved this property. The staff was helpful, room was clean and the property itself is so beautiful, the stairwell and little rooftop zone was deignned very well. Hey Love (the attached bar/restaurant) was such a VIBE. Like a tropical oasis in the middle of the city. Top notch cocktails, service and met some cool people there. Highly recommend this property!

The staff are super friendly and the hotel has a super cool vibe. I liked the free brewed coffee that was available in the lobby each morning. Our room had an enormous window with a great view of downtown. The check in was excellent as we were able to check in very early by paying a small fee.

Love the location (portland nightlife) and the decor. Beds were comfy. Mini bar had awesome options.

No unloading zone or designated parking. Parking was sold out when we arrived and it was hard to find nearby parking and carry everything 3 blocks to the hotel. We shared a room with friends and the bathroom did not provide very much privacy because of the sliding glass door with a gap when closed.

Well-designed room with very large window looking out over the city felt spacious despite being quite small. Everything was clean and comfortable, bed was firm with nice linens, shower was hot with good pressure. Staff were cheerful and responsive to simple requests via text.

No luggage racks in room. Otherwise, all was well.

The tidy-up service on our second day was done far later than expected, but this seemed to have been both due to a large number of check-outs and perhaps some miscommunication on our part.

I was so happy to have Greek yogurt available, protein drinks, small smoothie bottles , and the free delicious coffee first thing was perfect every morning !

Better beds? Maybe a warmer blanket available . The heater cooling system in room Squeaked and was a abit noisy

Location was perfect for proximity to our daughter who lives in SE Portland. Room was spectacular - modern, spare, full glass window. Our floor had two outdoor gathering spaces. Lobby served coffee in the morning. The bar is a happening place and appears to be a separate establishment so communications about getting a drink, a table, brunch on Sunday was always a bit confusing. We were given recommendations for two breakfast restaurants, both great, but not directed to the hotel's coffee shop (?) next door?. Confusing. It is an edgy and arty location as are many Portland neighborhoods. Could not reach front desk (newer hotels don't have house phones) and so called police when there was an altercation on our floor between a man and a woman. Could happen in any hotel and police said they would come. FYI I would stay here again - decor, convenience, nearby restaurants and nice desk staff. Very quiet too!
