The staff was great upon my check in. Warm and friendly. She also informed me of the things close to being sure to check out. The aquarium was right next door and I could feed the sea lions all day! The location on the breach was great. The rooms were clean and the property was well kept.

I was a little set back that it didn't have ac but it turns out the fan kept us cool. Also there is a hill of sand that obstructed my view of the ocean but that isn't the case for most of the rooms and as it turned out wasn't a deal breaker either.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, right on the Prom. You get an excellent ocean view from your window, though if your room is on the bottom floor, there's a 50% change the view will be blocked by a dune. The shower stall was large and had a great anti-slip flooring.

The sound insulation wasn't great between rooms. The bed was rather firm and high up. This was perfect for me, but some might not like it. The rooms are right on the Prom, so you'll have people walking by your window late into the evening.

We loved this hotel! The room was perfect for our family (we stayed in a 1 bedroom). It was very spacious with plenty of room for a rollaway. The room was clean and very comfortable with a beautiful picture view of the Prom and ocean. I have never seen such a hard working, friendly, and caring staff. They really take good care of this older property. I can't quite give it a stellar because the railings on the upper floor and stairs are not child safe and I hope the property owner addresses this. Saying that, we would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is in a prime location!! Steps to the beach, less than a block to the Main Street. Easy to find and access other amenities/shops, etc. and walking distance to most everything you need. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We even received a call on the way making sure our drive was going well and reminding us of when sunset was so that we didn’t miss the beautiful view!!!

It is an older hotel which is not a problem as it is updated and very clean, however all access is from outside with no elevators. This is not a problem at all…but just a note for some travelers who may have accessibility issues…just be sure to request the first floor to avoid stairs.

The front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I loved that our room faced the ocean. Please note. There's not air conditioning at this place. They do have a large box fan to help circulate the air. You can open a part of the window to get a nice ocean breeze in. But you need to keep your Curtains closed, as there are very bright lights right outside the window. They had Good toiletries with a fresh scent. The king size bed was a little hard, but it did not Deter from our enjoyment of the place. It is walking distance to the beach and to almost every other store restaurant et cetera that you would want. Super nice and clean, and our room was decorated with mid century modern. Would for sure recommend to stay here.

I texted the hotel because we were running a little late and the person who was responding was amazing. I asked about places to eat and they gave me several delicious places with different pay prices. My son was like, “they are texting you all of that?” He was impressed. Loved that it was on the ocean and was super clean. The little aquarium next door is super cute for young children.

My only suggestion is to update the sign. I wouldn’t have stayed here if I pulled up because the sign makes the building look super old….. but our room was updated and super nice.

The staff was friendly and went the extra mile for us. We enjoyed using real cups and glasses outfitted in the room and real plates, utensils and napkins were even provided at our request. Jeff helped us decide on the right room for us and we enjoyed a view right on the beach. Gorgeous. The hotel was clean and seemed recently renovated. The beds were comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a sink in the kitchenette.

The stay

We got ripped off. I purchased through booking.com and the hotel didn't recognize my name. The money was accepted by the hotel. But still no reservation. My wife booked and was charged so that left me with a refund. We called booking.com and and finally settled for a refund and they promised it within 5 business days. From 11 July promised refund and today the 20th nothing. I will see a lawyer about this. I don't care if the hotel or booking.com refunds us but if we don't get this 200 dollar problem resolved, I will see a lawyer.
