Nancy, Asia and Casie were so accommodating. All the special touches in the rooms were on spot and so thoughtful! Such as ice water in their water bottles in the little fridge, snacks and kurig coffee maker ready to go. Yoga mat, plush signature robes, slippers, yummy shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion..which I had to buy to take home! The air conditioning was wonderful and the plush rugs by the bed and in our bathroom... Breakfast was so delish and we really felt special! When we visit our son again and his house is full, we will definitely be back! Also, the beautiful plant life throughout and the decor were enchanting! Can't say enough!! We will be back!!

Ha...nothing!

It was wonderful. I felt like I was experiencing a different era. The furniture was very comfortable and cozy. I enjoyed looking at pictures and trinkets from the past. Nancy my host was able to tell me about the history of the house, and of surrounding areas. Nancy showed me the room I was to have, she showed me the family’s vintage wedding gowns. I’m a seamstress so this was a real treat. I had an upgrade in my room. I was on the top floor which had been renovated with a shower. Great water pressure and grateful for the hot water. I had only the one night stay, but I’ll definitely go back if I travel that way. I had a great breakfast of baked apple with oatmeal, An herb egg soufflé with buttered French bread. It was a great way to start my journey home.

Just be ready for stairs. Good exercise.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, as was the whole house. Everything was exceptionally clean and Nancy was a lovely host. The breakfast was delicious and we found The Queen to be overall a great value for the experience. There is plenty to do in walking distance and even more in a short drive. We would definitely return in the future

Nancy greeted us upon arrival and was not only gracious but entertaining in her stories of some of the memorabilia as well. The B&B is beautifully decorated and maintained with inviting quaint public rooms and touchable antiquities. We stayed in Nanny's Attic which had its own bathroom with shower, a sitting area near the electric "wood" stove, and a beautiful extremely comfortable brass bed. We had everything we could possibly need including Fire TV, fridge, microwave, wine glasses, corkscrew, popcorn, snacks, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and plush bathrobe to use during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and check-in & check-out were a breeze. We will be back.

The place was very pleasant and friendly. The house is like a museum. Its lovely and cute. We made many photos. The breakfast was good too, though not much choice.

We stayed in the attic. It was not easy to drag the suitcase to the top floor. I left my suitcase in a car. The breakfast included one meal cooked by our hostess. It was delicious but my husband ate cereal with milk. The hostess was very hospitable and nice lady.

Conversation with Nancy, the Innkeeper, was a special bonus. She is a most interesting woman and inspirational .

It should be noted that a cat lives on the premise out of consideration for people with allergies. I started to have allergic symptoms and attributed them to the approach of autumn when I spotted the cat. There are people who have severe cat allergies like myself.

Our host was friendly and fascinating. She introduced us to some of the incredible antiques in the house, like the Victorian viewfinders, and gave us excellent advice about where to go for food and drink. We were impressed by the room, the breakfast, the house, and the grounds. Any stay at The Queen is sure to be magical.

Quaint home with old time novelties and what appears to be original construction and fixtures. Quiet neighborhood. An easy drive to nearby amenities and PSU. The bed was super comfortable. The governor’s room had a separate sitting area with a gas fireplace - super cozy. The black cat in the porch - very cuddly.

Although it was an easy drive, still 15-20 to PSU. Included breakfast at 9am - that’s a little late when visiting children at PSU. Prefer earlier time. Very freaky floors - glad we were on the top floor.

Breakfast was fabulous. Crème brûlée french toast was to die for. That is Nancy's signature dish. The egg souffle was delicious too. After coming back on Monday I have been wondering what Nancy has been serving :) She really knows how to present food beautifully. The homemade bread was delicious too (her husband makes them every day). The location is wonderful, minutes from downtown Bellefonte, the Tralleyrand Park is only 10 minutes away. State College is only about 9.5 miles from there. The Bald Eagle State Park, Penn's Caves are also within 12-15 miles of Bellefonte. I booked a room there only because I couldn't find a hotel close to Penn State University and read all the raving reviews of The Queen and we were so glad we found this beautiful place in a quaint little town. We would have liked to stay for a couple more days and explore, maybe next time. We stayed at the Nanny's Attic but did get a chance to peek into the Governer's Suite and we have already decided to rent that suite for our next visit. The Nanny's attic is cozy but the Governor's Suite is gorgeous and spacious. Nancy has a great sense of style, has decorated the place with beautiful and unique collectibles. Her succulent collection is incredible, the arrangements of different kinds of succulents with little figures are adorable. I have never stayed in a B&B before; maybe there is a reason it is hugely popular, it feels like home and the hospitality is very personal. Nancy also gave me two kinds of succulents before we left. The decor at The Queen has given me many ideas for home decor.

We liked everything about The Queen. The only drawback (not specific to The Queen) is the lack of varied restaurants. A lot of them are closed on Sundays which leaves one with minimal choice when it comes to dining out. But State College is so close, I don't see it as an issue at all.

Can't think of anything-maybe a more comfy futon.
