The hotel is beautiful. It's obviously old, and there were a few quarks (our room for would stick sometimes), but that's too be expected. When we checked in, the front desk person upgraded our room to poolside, so we had direct access to the pool from our room. The room itself wasn't overly large, but there was plenty of room for the three of us. We paid for a roll away bed, and even with that, we had enough room. The hotel has a cute little game room, which was enough to kill about an hour of time. The pool was heated and was closer to bath water temperature wise.

The only thing I would say is that we had to go to the connecting hotel (Aspire) to check in or check out. It's not a big deal, though, and it was understandable since the hotels weren't very crowded.

Pretty nice stay while touring Gettysburg! My friend and I wanted a place with a pool so we chose to stay here instead of a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was okay, pretty much what you would expect from a complimentary breakfast. The room was pretty clean, no smell in it and it was kept cool throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable enough. The pool was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! It’s a pretty large pool, there was a kids birthday party going on and my friend and I still had enough room to swim comfortably. The water temperature was like a bath. I hate cold water so I was extremely happy when I was able to jump right in. Will definitely be coming back here when I go to Gettysburg just for the pool!

The only thing that bothered me was that there was a little dead gnat on one of the beds. It could’ve happened after they cleaned the rooms so I didn’t complain about it or anything, and there were no other bugs that I saw

Everyone was nice. I really enjoyed the bar/lounge/restaurant. The food was great and our bartender/server, she was amazing! The lady that ran the gift shop was adorable, very funny! It looks like they are doing upgrades so that was a plus! I would definitely stay again. My concerns were addressed ASAP by the gentleman running the front desk and that's what mattered most!

There were soap stains and goo in the soap dish. The soap dish was built into the shower. There was also long strands of hair in the tub and on the wall. I cleaned both with a towel. The doors should have door sweeps. I've never stayed at a hotel where you could see under the doors (front door & the ajoining room door).

I was there for Remembrance Parade Weekend. I attended the Civil War Remembrance Ball I liked how spacious the room was as I had to dress in period clothes, with a large hoop. I had space to move around the room. It was clean, and after I was able to get the heater working it was a toasty warm room.

The only thing I didn’t like is the room did not have enough light fixtures, and the ones that were there were somewhat dim.

The pool was very nice. Breakfast had a good variety. The bed was comfy. The AC in the room was definitely working overtime with the excessive heat but kept the room cool and comfy.

The rate seemed excessive when we found that other hotels had more competitive rates closer to town. I feel like we spent double the money and could have had the same amenities at a different hotel closer to restaurants and activities.

We enjoyed our stay, The breakfast was good. The pool was nice, we had a balcony looking over it. The balcony could use some freshening up, paint chipping. The room was nice and clean. It was also nice and quiet here . The facility could definitely use some cosmetic updates We would stay there again.

The grounds at the entrance could use some curb appeal. First impressions, were that we made a poor choice but once inside it was nice .

The pool was nice and warm.

I paid extra for a late check out which made it 4:00p.m for my check out time, the front desk person knew this. He knocked on my hotel door at 2:45p.m (which woke my sleeping toddler up from her nap) telling me that I needed to start getting ready to leave so the maid could clean the room. I than told him I would be out at 4:00p.m which was an hour and 15 mins later. If I paid extra money to stay longer than I'm not leaving until it was time. He was very rude and unprofessional!

The pool was really warm and I liked that it was right outside the sliding doors to our room. Staff was friendly and full of helpful info for first-time visitors. The bedding smelled clean and was much warmer than it looked.

I tripped over the hallway carpet a few times due to it being matted up in many places. The tub has no pull plug to keep water in to bathe.

Not much of anything .

Food wasn’t very good in the morning or at the bar . Gift shop isn’t open everyday. Fitness center was nonexistent. Courtyard in the center of the hotel was in disrepair an unusable . Parking lot is in need of repair as is most everything. Everything is to spread out. It’s 2 hotels under one roof. I’m sure it was spectacular at one time , years ago. Could be nice again with the right owner and staff.

We go to this hotel often. There has been some improvement lately. We stayed in one of the updated rooms. Raj at the front desk is awesome. He was very helpful. Breakfast is always good and the rooms are always clean and the beds are comfortable.

I think that checkout should be at noon. Stalls in mens bathroom should be bigger. Hallways to the rooms could be cleaner and updated. The crazy 80's outdated carpet in the hallways need to go!
