The staff was very attentive and polite. We stay in hotels about 30 days during the year and we had NEVER encountered such friendliness and professionalism from every employee. This is how a hotel should be run. The hotel was clean, the elevators worked properly and the breakfast was good. The gym was clean and spacious. Plenty of places to eat and see within walking distance. We initially chose this hotel based on the fact that they do not allow pets.

It tends to get noisy outside during weekends but it's the big city.

The location is close to the SEPTA Walnut and Locust station and twenty minute walk to the historic sites of Philadelphia. The hotel still offers a breakfast that is oatmeal, eggs, sausage, pastries, bread, and pancakes. I stayed in the room with two queen beds. The bed had comfortable mattress and pillow. The front desk provides big map and sheet with local restaurants nearby. The restaurants have variety of cuisines and range from sit in to small takeout.

The bathroom in the room was cramped. The towels were kept on rack inside the the shower. I moved the towels so they wouldn't get wet when I showered. The sink is just outside the bathroom. Fitness center only has dumbbells. The area does get a little noisey from 6-10p.m. because of the night life.

The breakfast room was huge compared to many other properties. Our housekeeper Mykia (sorry, I don't think I have the name quite right) was very friendly and accommodating. All the frontline staff that we saw said hello and chatted a bit. The room was roomy, beds and pillows were comfortable. The gym was a good size and clean. The majority of staff were helpful, patient with our questions, and friendly, Super location.

Great to have a Keurig but it didn't work. We were disappointed in a staff (wearing a jacket so presumably management) who muscled his way on the elevator ahead of guests - guests that were waiting before him. This was particularly bad because.the three elevators never worked at the same time for all three nights we were there. Due to scheduled fire drills, no one could use the stairs on that one day. This meant packed elevators and 15-minute waits. We had to go up for room on the elevator to make our way down. On the last day, another staff tried to jam herself and two other staff on to the elevator. We told her that there wasn't room, the other two staff said that it was okay that they'd wait and she persisted. We repeated that there wasn't room and she backed down.

The location was ideal, good value, it had an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness room. Good choice of selection of breakfast juice, breads, fruit, porridge, hot drinks and milks..

A variety of choice in the cereals, instead of the 2 sets of cereals being the same have 6 different. Bacon would have been nice as an option. On our 2nd night, some guests were very noisy and inconsiderate from 9pm-3am going from room to room, doors slamming shut and talking loudly outside in the hallways..Then at 7am, their friend was trying to waken them up with constant banging on their bedroom door.

I felt very safe within the building. The attendant was very nice while my boys swam. The breakfast was amazing!

The parking situation was crowded. I'm not used to valet parking and didn't like the thought of a stranger driving my car nor keeping my key. I was charged $50 to keep my key. I would have liked it if there was a little more description about the parking. I chose to opt for public transportation and left my car in the garage the entire time but regretted this after an unsavory trip on the subway. If I had more info from the beginning I might have been able to make a more informed decision prior to arrival.

Breakfast was excellent Room and hotel were clean (but a bit outdated) Awesome location

Parking was a bit rough. It is a self parking facility but you still need to give car keys to a valet and ask for those keys every time you need to get something from your car. A day later I found my car parked in a different spot, bumper to bumper with another car. I am glad the other car didn't have the front plate so no marks/scratches left on mine. But still this was unpleasant. The parking lot is small and they park cars really tight.

Loved the location of this hotel. Traveled to Philly for the weekend with my 17 yr old son. The hotel was maybe a 2 minute walk to the subway line which ran a straight run to the Wells Fargo Center. We were within 1 to 2 miles of everything we needed for the 3 days and walked everywhere. Never took the car out of the parking garage which was conveniently attached to the hotel. The neighborhood had plenty of businesses and was busy even late on a Saturday evening with many eateries still open when we got back after a sporting event. The size of the room was nice, bigger than I expected. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room temperature was easy to maintain. Other hotels I've been in recently don't let you adjust the temp above or below a certain point but here it was no problem Breakfast had decent choices and was pretty well stocked considering their was a large group of people in there in the morning. The front desk employees were helpful and friendly as well as any other staff we encountered.

The bathroom was on the small side. On occasion I could hear the people in the adjacent room talking and it sounded like they were in the room.

The staff is excellent. I’m in a wheelchair, and often need little fixes in a room. The staff are incredible. Prompt, eager, and sincerely kind. It doesn’t feel fake either. It actually feels sincere. The room is excellent for the disabled. Plenty of space. Roll under sink. Perfect shower set up: the shower head goes up and down and becomes a hand held, the bars are sturdy, and the hotel has a shower bench that was brought up for me. So many details to make us wheelchair users comfortable. beyond happy.

I like more light in a hotel room, but it was per standard.

Very friendly staff that greeted you at all times, always asking if we needed anything. Breakfast was delicious and had many options, beds get done daily and pool area was pleasant

One of the elevators was out of service making us wait for 15-20 minutes during breakfast hours. Parking staff was rude one day when we came back after a long day and told us not to park because it was hourly parking only after we had parked at the same spot the previous night

The price for the location is great. Breakfast was decent and didn't ran out of food. Great location from all the attractions. My family and I like to walk to everywhere when we visit cities like this....we walked everywhere. Restaurant options everywhere and close. Night life for adults is literally at every corner. A block from the city hall and everything in that area. If we're in the area, we will definitely stay in this hotel again....oh and kids friendly as any HI I've been to.

The parking is not the best in this city, but expected in any major cities
