The location was outstanding. The apartment was very clean and it was very well stocked with everything we needed. The air conditioning was great! The staff/security were friendly and helpful.
What I didn’t like was the noise in the street. But, we were provided with ear plugs so that took care of the problem. I also did not like the cost of overnight parking. Thirty-eight dollars is a lot of money!!

- Great location close to restaurants and metro station - Wonderful studio (full equipped kitchen, washing/drying machine) - Comfortable bed - Very clean room - Good wifi connection - Next to the ground floor elevators, a small cabinet allowed us to easily get more toilet paper, coffee, and other essentials whenever needed. - Some reviews complain about the noise, but we didn't have any problems with it because our room was on the 8th floor and faced an internal area. We were lucky because the streets around the building can be really noisy.
- The fire alarm usually goes off for any reason. On the first day, we made 4 toasts in the toaster, and the alarm went off. After that, we started opening the windows or turning on the air conditioning before making toast. We heard the alarm go off in other apartments several times. - There was no view from the room. As our room faced an internal patio, it was imperative to keep the curtains closed all day long because we could see other rooms and be seen too. - Pillows were too soft. - Shower could be better.

It met what we needed to a T. We were within waking distance of the building we needed to be at the next morning. The room was exceptionally clean with a microwave stove dishwasher coffee, anything really you would need for food. The price was more then accommodating
The bed was for sure very firm.. surely more firm then I prefer. And the shower drain wouldn't stay open so I had to use a spoon to hold it open while we showered so the water didn't puddle up in the tub. And the furnace was in the main bedroom making it merely impossible to sleep but atleast they do provide ear plugs so that's a plus lol. And i had to pay an extra 30 to park for the night at a near by parking garage

Great slightly lower-budget 4 night stay while attending a conference at the Downtown Marriott. Modern, recently renovated interior with full kitchen, dishwasher and washer-dryer (detergent pods included). Bed was very comfortable, no windows in the bedroom so slept great for May. No noise issues at all but was on the 8th floor. Locker luggage storage was convenient. Small lounge/game room with table tennis table and workspace. Front desk was helpful. Can park in garages in neighborhood using SpotHero for $30-40/night.
Keyless entry into building was a bit clunky at first; I could only get the mobile key to work on my room and had to keypad in each time. One of the elevators was out of service so wait times could be a bit long. Building itself is rather old.

The room was spacious, very well equipped, and situated in a very nice and vivid area.
The bathroom was full of water after shower, and there was not a mop in the room to clean it up.

August 2024
Check in process was easy, place was clean and spacious, facilities worked well. Kitchen was very well equipped. Appreciated the dishwashing tabs and tide pods that came with the facilities. Location was good, just a short walk from Chestnut St and Walnut St where most good food is.
Limited lockers to secure bags, so it's first come first served. Some facilities didn't work as well (bedroom light was out, shower rubber seals were loose so water would leak onto the bathroom floor) but nothing huge. Self run nature of the building means you're subject to other guests and their behaviours (like if they clog up the garbage chute).

Friendly staff and easy access to property. There was always a member of staff present when we entered or exited the accommodation. They were always courteous and helpful if we spoke to them. The common room on the 2nd floor was clean. We used the luggage lockers on the last day and then spent the last hour in the common room waiting for our taxi to the airport. It was all very convenient. Having read a few negative reviews we were concerned about the homeless around the hotel. We never felt threatened by their presence. Our room was good. There were a few stains on the bedroom carpet but nothing to get upset about.
The electronic key didn’t work so we just used our key code. The staff did say it was temperamental. Slightly strange lighting in the bedroom…. No ceiling light, just lamps. Air con was a bit loud but nothing to stop us sleeping.

The room was on the 11th floor and quite large, with a good view of the city. It had a lot of appliances, like an apartment room. Oven, washing machine, toaster, etc. There is actually no classic check-in, everything is done online. It's a good thing there's a security guard in the lobby at all times, as the neighborhood is a bit challenging.
The room was not prepared for 4 people, so we had to put the extra bed together ourselves. We stayed for two nights, the maid didn't come after the first night.

This place is truly great! A perfect location, about 5 minutes from Jefferson station that takes you to and from the airport. The apartments are located in center city, walking distance from everything. The building is a beautiful, historical landmark and the apartments are newly renovated. I had a studio apartment with a gigantic bed, a fully functional kitchen with a dishwasher. A private laundry closet, ample closet space and a spacious bathroom with a bath tub. Everything was very clean and new. I was on the 10th floor and could not hear any noise from the street. This is a busy neighborhood so they leave earplugs for you, in case you're on the lower floors.
The pillows were too soft for me, just a minor flaw

Very clean, large kitchen with all the dishes, pots and pans you'll need. Excellent location in Center City near transit. The staff was helpful but everything is so well prepared you may never need to speak to them. No problem storing bags in a locker before checking in, There is also a lounge with table tennis you can wait in if you come before check-in time.
As others have mentioned it gets noisy at night especially on the weekend, but that is due to the location and I'm sure any other hotels in the area would be the same, To help with this they provide ear plugs and a white noise machine.
