Location was great, and parking lot across the street convenient and affordable (not connected to the hotel). Concierge staff were all great, room was spacious and clean, bed comfy.

No coat hooks or hangers/rod in the closet by the door, so nowhere to hang jackets, except closet in the bedroom. Wall between bedroom and kitchen/living room didn’t go all the way up to the ceiling, which looked cool - but defeated the purpose of having 2 rooms, where one person could be in the living room without being heard by person in the bedroom. Key-card stopped working day we checked out (well before 11am).

Very friendly desk attendants 24/7. Nice full kitchen and layout. Very nice upscale and comfortable elevator lobby. Nice bed, pillows, and towels. Double paned windows attenuated outdoor sound, but retained look of classic building. Coffee equipment in room.

closet was way too small for two people, and had zero lighting. Very difficult to see in closet even in daytime. No dressers. No space for suitcases in bedroom. No night lighting in bathroom. No table or desk to work at, other than barstools. No plugs at or around bar counter.

The studio was clean, bright and had many perks including a Bluetooth speaker, a full-sized fridge, washer and dryer, dishwasher, multiple coffee-making devices and full array of kitchen utensils. Once I figured out how to work the window shades, they did a pretty good job of blocking light out early in the morning. It wasn't a large place, but it had everything needed for one or two people and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The building is close to tons of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. and only a few minute walk to access all subway lines.

A couple of things could've used some more explanation - the aforementioned blackout shades, the Bluetooth speaker, etc. There were no towel racks or soap dish in the bathroom, so I had to get creative. I'm sure this varies depending on room, but my view was mainly of the top of a parking garage and an alley filled with trash and pigeons. The gym - well, if you're hoping to get a full resistance workout, temper those expectations. There were a few odd hydraulic machines, one 15 lb. dumbbell and one 15 lb. kettle bell. No other free weights.

Roost is my go to spot in Philly. We always stayed at Rittenhouse location before but this time it was only available starting from a three night booking. We got two bedroom instead of a one bedroom. I love the design of the Roost and all the amenities. There were two gallons of filtered water in the fridge and there was a water/sparkling water station on the floor. I wish every town had Roost!

Midtown Roost is definitely a nosier neighborhood than Rittenhouse. There were people shouting outside the hotel till most likely 2am. Roost is located on 5th and 6th floors of an apartment building and you can clearly hear people screaming at night during Fridays/Saturdays. It's center location and i guess this is something you have to deal with . Luckily with the two bedroom, we went into the second bedroom which had no windows and had a queen bed vs king. Not ideal but we had to do it to get more sleep.

The room was a good size and the location was close to all the things we wanted in Philadelphia; close walking distance to the public transport, restaurants and tourist sites.

City noise (construction and sirens etc.) is a drawback of a CBD location but the convenience was better than the noise was a nuisance - we would go back again.

Really liked the room size and the feeling of living in an apartment vice a hotel for our stay.

The coffee beans should be given in a larger amount. Maybe double the size Mason jar that they are currently using because when asking for refills it took FOREVER to get the staff to refill, but the rest of the stay was so good that we can certainly overlook this very tiny detail as im sure we drink more coffee than most.

What a great location! It’s in the center of all the biggest happenings in Philly. The staff was incredibly attentive to our every need! The apartment was very cute and perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances and furniture were very renovated.

The drawers in the apartment were a bit difficult to open, and the trash can was a bit small for our needs.

Massive room size. Washer and dryer in the apartment. Classy decorations with quality toiletries. Good central location. Extremely helpful concierge.

The recommended carpark is relatively far from the apartment, nevertheless, this is the best accomodation for our road trip in the cities of eastern United States.

We loved the feel of the room, felt like a city apartment ready to live in. Great nightly rate, easy to get to and check in. Parking can be tough at night so plan ahead a few minutes or use spothero. The kitchen, living room bedrooms and bathrooms all felt homey and ready to be filled with our own items. It was walking distance to the convention center and christmas village which were our goals.

Street sounds and jazz club next door can occasionally be audible at night. With the right fan conditions we were able to mitigate and have nice sleeps.

Centrally located just a few blocks away from the Philadelphia Convention Center where we saw the Philly Flower Show. Helpful staff and a spacious bathroom and full kitchen.

Just a few minor suggestions: like maybe a towel bar in the bathroom. And maybe milk or cream in the fridge and perhaps sugar to go with the lovely coffee beans.
