The location was great, the apartment was really nice & up to date

We didn’t get the exact apartment we paid for, Sonder changed our room via email confirmation the day of for some unknown reason & told us it was no way to exchange apartments because they were all sold out. The wifi would jump in & out. The apartment didn't come with a Bluetooth speaker. All the pictures we saw online the apartment had 1 so we didn’t pack 1

It was very clean.

It is not a short walking distance to downtown like described. Walk 30 mins one way to the museum or take an Uber. Also, the unit is described as a one bedroom, but it is actually a studio with a curtin that divides the bed space from the living space.

difficult to get hold of customer service when we had issues with heating, took hours of sending messages in an online chat to get it sorted. not very soundproof, we could constantly hear our neighbours.

Mattress, couch are firm and good quality. A rare in condo hotel. Good size of bedside table (I have a lot of things) Space Decor

En suite Bathroom shower is leaking. Poor insulation makes it too cold to shower in winter. Can't shower at the same time between the 2 bathrooms.

I stayed in a 1bed/1bath apartment, and it was incredible, close to food, restaurants, and other conveniences. The food at the Fresh Market is great and you can find nice varieties. You can easily walk (aprox 10 min) from the apartment to the historical neighborhood, which is great if you want to visit the Liberty Bell and the the museums. It is also close to the Convention Center, City Hall and the Love Park. My room was clean and organized. They provide you with clean bed sheets, towels, bar soap and shampoo. It also had a TV with Netflix and Amazon, although I had to use my own account, then I signed off.

This is not a comment for the room, instead it's for the city. The neighborhood, although it is very safe (I was alone), it has a lot of homeless that stay around the Convention Center. Be careful.

I very much like the system they had. I like having kitchen and washer machines accessible in the room. I love the self-serve part of it. If you lack something you can go to the lobby and get it. The staff doesn't come and clean your place every day only when you check out. I think all hotels should be like that. When I got there the place was very clean. The staff was also friendly and attentive.

The location. Even though the location a walking distance of all attractions, I didn't feel safe at night. The neiborhood looked sketchy. There were also homeless sleeping near the hotel. Also a couple of times we had other guests ticking marijuana smell get into the elevator. People who smoke marijuana smell like a skunk. They were not smoking it, but they probably just had a smoke before they got into the property. I am not sure how the hotel can fix this.

the room looks gorgeous just like in the photos. it has that loft look with great big windows, stylish kitchen counter very modern fittings. the water pressure in the shower was great. I had great experience in a Sonder accomodation in Detroit, so I was looking forward to stay in a Sonder apartment again.

the walls are paper thin. I could hear neighbours laughing and their tv on. but I got lucky as they weren't noisy past 10PM. I have to say I was a bit scared after reading a few google reviews of Sonder The Heid, but i can't blame the hotel alone for its location. Philadelphia is rough and the area behind the convention centre is a bit of a no man's land area since there's a massive highway and old warehouses. But it's 10 mins walk from the busy chinatown with great food or the city hall and high street stores. Sonder has another building in a livelier area a couple blocks down. I confess I was attracted by the loft look and I am not disappointed with my time there.

We loved our room at Sonder the Heid. It was spacious and contained all the essentials, including a good iron and ironing board. Perhaps most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The shower was also excellent. The rooftop area was beautiful, but as we were very busy during our short stay, we did not spend much time there.

The hotel did not appear to be in a great neighbourhood. A lot of homelessness was visible in the area, and there were often people hanging around the streets near the hotel, sometimes begging. On several occasions, this was quite intimidating.

I really liked the room as it felt like a home away from home. Spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

I didn't like that I was told there was a fitness facility and roof top space, but the roof top was closed due to construction and apparently the fitness center was only for staff. However, i never saw any staff other than the security guard. That was very very disappointing.

I loved how inconspicuous the property was. If I was walking by, I’d have no idea it was a hotel. No groups of people cheering through the lobby on the way to the city for a night on the town and front desk asking for weird incidental fees with credit card holds. Just you, your thoughts and almost a quiet room…almost.

The walls are THIN. I’m sure my neighbors heard me sneeze because I DEFINITELY heard their…activities during my evening meditation time. Also, They email or text randomly. “It’s check out time! Log in to the app…”…but I don’t leave until tomorrow…and when you provide an approximate time, the internet service is limited and housekeeping was knocking on my door at two minutes after the top of the hour! I’m all for efficiency, but WHEW!
