Traveled as a solo woman. Needed a place to stop for the night off I-20. It was located in a nice neighborhood with other hotels also available on booking.com. There was a large selection of restaurants, big box stores, grocery, etc nearby. the hotel had a hot breakfast available, matching the pre-Covid choices and the coffee was strong. The sodas and snacks in the little shop were priced fairly. However, it was $20 more than the other hotel listed on booking for the same night that was essentially across the street. Had I known, I likely would have booked the other hotel as I was just sleeping and driving on.

This hotel was further off the freeway than the map seemed to indicate.

Breakfast was good. Everything was super clean. Staff was willing to help in every way they could to make you comfortable. I “loved staying here.” It was one of the best places we stayed in, in a long time….if you’re looking for a new place to go and you enjoy horses and history, then visit Aiken S.C. It was a really nice place to vacation. Visit The Willcox Hotel*Restaurant*Spa for lunch or dinner you won’t be disappointed. Staff and food were great!!!

Sometimes street noise being right off the main road. But, would not prevent me from coming again.

Fit the bill for what I needed on a road trip down the coast. Good bed, friendly staff, and a breakfast that was lacking but still fit the bill for what was needed. Overall could be $20 less a night and would be 9/10

Shower was really bad, almost no pressure and the shower head seemed very clogged in the room. A/C wasn't on prior to entering the room, so it was stuffy for a few minutes. I was a last minute booking, so perhaps they normally would turn it on prior.

We loved the location. All of the staff from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the morning food service workers were all wonderful; very friendly and professional. Our room was clean, the toiletries offered were phenomenal (J.R. Watkins), and the breakfast was delicious. The nightly room rate was also very reasonable. We will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in town.

The only suggestion I have is it might be nice to change up the selection at breakfast. We were there for 5 days and it was the same thing every day; but it all tasted really good.

Benjamin was fantastic, so personable and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfy, and we were given extra bedding and towels without any hesitation. The pillows are marked firm or soft, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was pleasant. Multiple hot and cold options, the cinnamon rolls were mouth wateringly good.

There was no bathtub in our executive suite. We marked that we were traveling with an almost 2 year old, so I am unsure why we weren't placed in a room with a tub. There aren't any true blackout curtains, only a thicker panel that doesn't offer complete blackout. There are no dishes or cutlery of any kind in the kitchenette, though there was dish soap?

The refrigerator was actually cold, the room looked exactly like the pictures advertised, the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean.

The AC unit was really loud. And the breakfast culd of been better. They could of offered more options such as fruit and bacon.

The hotel did an excellent job of offering a full breakfast which is really not heard of admidst the COVID. Masks were required to enter the food line. Extra attention was taken to individually wrap breads, bagels, etc. The staff hovered in a GOOD way always attentive to needs and cleaning and wiping in between guests going through. I was very surprised as I have traveled and stayed in other chains and the breakfast option was gone or they had a bag with a muffin in it. Eggs, omelet, bacon, pancakes, cereals, juices, muffins, fruit and yogurts were abundant and fresh.

I have absolutely no negative comment.

The staff was great. I wasn’t expecting to have our room cleaned during our stay but when we returned from our days event…. our room was cleaned by Shannon. She left us a little note and she did and an amazing job. Her attention to detail was above anything I could’ve ever expected. It was a nice surprise to come back from a funeral to a nice clean room.

The breakfast attendant was using her bare hands to put each biscuit into the biscuit tray. There were gloves available for the guests to use, but I guess the staff isn’t required to use gloves when preparing the food. The executive suite is a little misleading on the website. It appears that the sleeping area and the living room area are divided by a half wall. They are not. The wall is about 2ft.

The area was quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. slept like a baby. the staff was really nice because we had to check out early the guy at the front desk offered us cold stuff for breakfast which he didn't have to but the hospitality was really good.

if we could stay longer

Probably the most clean hotel I have been in. I'm picky and usually give my room a cleaning upon arrival. I did my little inspection and didn't feel I needed to do anything more, it was that clean! The remote was even wrapped. Microwave, fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea in room, AC was quiet and worked! The beds were very comfortable, hot shower, covid protocols were in place. Breakfast was great! Eggs, sausage, pancakes, sausage biscuits gravy, bagels, cinnamon rolls, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee, milks. My kids were happy and so were we. This place was a life saver after 10 hours on the rd from OH to FL, had a hard time finding a place with availability and didn't cost a ton. Finally find this one.

Everything was great, only reason I didn't give a 10 was that it was a bit out of our way, but the cleanliness, the hot breakfast, and price made it well worth it.
