This was the first time to visit Nashville and we walked most of the time because transportation was very expensive. No one at the hotel could tell us where to go or how to get there. No grocery stores were near the hotel and we didn't have a microwave to heat up any take outs that we had left. The food at the restaurants were not what I had expected. The next time that I book a hotel will have a shuttle service. We had no assistance about how to get around the town. No one knows about anything nor how to get there. I was shocked to see that every restaurant was pushing alcoholic drinks and everyone had their hand out looking for a tip. We paid $35.00 for a ride to the mall for just one way. We all felt like a fish out of water. The bed was okay, but it made me sweat at night. The hotel view from the window at night was beautiful. If we rented a car, the hotel charges you $50.00 a night just to park in their garage which is outrageous. No one wants to take cash, so you'd better have a charge card with you if you want to survive. I've seen enough of Nashville to last me a lifetime. In other words, it's a money pit that will suck you dry.

The food and all the jacked up prices. Every restaurant had mostly the same menu and we found nothing interesting to eat. We were at the mercy of the rip offs trying to find something to eat. There was nothing to do without a heavy price tag to go with it. People are all over the streets on Broadway begging for money. This vacation was a bust and we discovered that Nashville is not for everyone.

we loved the location. A quick three block walk down to Broadway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Great views of the city. We particularly liked having live music in the bar/restaurant every night. It was a great place to come back to unwind after a busy day in Nashville. There is a restaurant bar right next-door to the hotel that also offered live music at night. It had absolutely terrific food, breakfast lunch, and dinner. I highly recommend staying at this property.

Location is terrific. Very central and close to all the bars and restaurants. Hotel itself is clean and homey. Very inviting. Staff is very kind and helpful. I liked the facilities as well (gym, pool, meeting area). The valet service was smooth. Room itself was comfortable with a nice shower, comfy bed, terrific views, and good TV. Overall, highly recommend it. It was exactly what we needed. A great place to stay on New Year's Eve.

There was one counter that hadn't been fully wiped down. We also would have preferred a 4th towel (we had 3). Otherwise, the place was great.

The location, the bed, the pool and the staff were excellent. The view from our room on the 10th floor was phenomenal, and the bonus was the bluetooth mirror to listen to music! :) Another bonus: lots of scooters around to snag to zip around town. Highly recommend doing that if you are able!

Oddly, the AC in the room would turn on and off mysteriously - and the front desk advised that was normal. So, it did get a bit warm and stuffy in a room without windows that could open. However, we didn't spend much time in the room, so it was only noticeable one night we stayed.

The Staff was more than accommodating! There were a few days where the bar was opened early for us and I can't tell you how awesome that was for my small group. And, we had one guest arrive very early and he got into a room! Lastly, a very kind young female bartender made the tastiest Old Fashions (super job and well trained).

Can't say anything really comes to mind other than the lighting was slightly difficult to navigate (but not a real issue). Hard to really say anything was a negative experience.

Convenient location to arena. Easy to access downtown attractions on foot. Spacious, comfortable room at a reasonable cost for the area. Very nice outdoor pool and patio bar on the 5th floor. Exercise room available. Enjoyed having a restaurant and entertainment available on both the ground and 5th floors. Pleasant, professional & acommodating staff.

Was disappointed parking was $50 per day but valet access as needed was available and comparable to offsite lots nearby.

We loved the location as it provided some peace away from the hectic pace of Broadway, but only a few blocks away from the action. The room was magnificent with it's country and western themed decor. The bar had live music and the food was excellent. The bar next door also had wonderful cocktails and food. Overall it was the best place we could have stayed in beautiful, downtown, vibrant Nashville. We were there for a show at the Ryman and the room even provided us with a view of the iconic theatre !!!

nothing it was perfect

Staff was very welcoming. Property was fantastic and the hotel bar had live music. The room was laid out with the bed in the middle of the room. This sounds weird but with the other furniture it worked really well. Actually created more room.

We enjoyed the views of the city. We enjoyed the comfort of the bed and bedding.

Lighting in the bathroom could be a LOT better - very dim and hard to see. Also the restaurant downstairs - Spoon and Saloon was OK - ate there 3 times. Once for dinner and twice for breakfast. Dinner was just OK - service was poor. Breakfast the very good, however upon our second time eating there, a roach was floating in my coffee. Greeted by a very friendly person upon check in. Once settled in came down to lobby to see our surroundings and were told by a not so friendly person that the area we were in was closed off and would have to leave - we were in a hallway, looking out a window.

We had spent our first night in town at another hotel. That hotel was a large chain, and it was nice, but the staff wasn't very eager to help us. The Cambridge had a great staff, and a great unique decor. And it is part of Choice Hotels, so there's reward points. The Bluetooth mirrors were fun. I also liked that we got a couple free bottles of water and were told where we could refill it as often as we liked. We loved seeing all the purple martins at sunset. It would be great to have some sort of write-up about them in the room. I looked them up online, plus all the things the city is doing to accommodate the birds instead of getting rid of them, and it's a great story. I liked that the new talent was able to play original songs there.

We would have liked somewhere to eat besides just a bar. Maybe just a place to get a little breakfast sandwich. We ate most of our meals at NashHouse, which was great but is a totally separate entity from the hotel. When we attached to the Wi-Fi in the room, we got all sorts of "virus" warnings, so we had to attach to our secure hotspot. Maybe something more secure would be good.
