I have never stayed at a Renaissance before, I didn't know what to expect and we paid a lot of money to stay over New Years. The first thing and this is probably minor to many people, but they had TWO luggage racks in the room - love this! Secondly, AVEDA bathroom amenities - finally a brand I know and trust! Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. The lobby and conference area had some very unique interesting designs, love this! The room size was seemed big, the front desk staff was helpful and pleasant to work with, housekeeping was limited but they were willing to grab trash & bring fresh towels when we needed them. The 24/7 grab and go was perfect for when we would come in late and be hungry, lots of variety to choose from. Even the concierge guys outside were overly helpful. Location of this property was KEY for anyone spending time on Broadway and just a short 20 minute walk to The Gulch area, adjacent to Food Hall and a bunch of cute shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

We were in room 1105 and the view was dismal overlooking an alley and rooftops. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't that important to us, but I would have rather overlooked Broadway and Bridgestone Stadium like the room our friends were in.

We had a room on the 5th floor, well furnished and quiet. The Renaissance was a block away from entertainment on Broadway. Within walking distance to The Ryman, Country Music Hall of Fame, Printer's Alley and Hop-on Hop-off bus and many other spots. Catching a bus to the Jack Daniel's Distillery was four blocks away. We did not rent a car - Taxi or Uber. We had two queen beds, 4 pillows on each and the very comfortable. Our reservation included daily breakfast buffet with many food selections.

Miniscule things like asking for water at the front desk. Cleaning service tossed a shower cap, large red plastic cups we used for more water to drink and of course making cocktails!

Conveinence of hotel, staff, complimentary cocktails in the lobby

Bartender (Zayon from Serbia) at main bar downstairs kept bringing us drinks that were never ordered by anyone in our group also brought us french fries that were never ordered, shots never ordered, expresso martini's never ordered, along with several other cocktails we were drinking, then slammed us with a $431.00 bill it was so unprofessional however we paid it but was so wrong what he did and we never returned back to him the entire trip. We would have visited more often but he lost our business by scamming us. We took our business to the Bridge bar where we were treated very good! We spoke with the manger in regards to this but never received a word back on this as of yet! Paul was amazing!!

Large beautiful corner room with lots of windows. The hotel location was great for walking everywhere, even though we drove our car there it stayed parked through our whole stay. We would definitely stay here again! The hotel is gorgeous and everyone was so friendly.

Parking was expensive, I think when you pay that much to stay at a hotel the parking should be included. Our bathroom sink and shower was very slow to drain, they did send someone up to fix it right away but the problem never got solved. The sink would take 30 minutes to drain just to start over the next time.

The young lady who checked us in was wonderful. The breakfast buffet and gentleman preparing omelets Fabulous. Selection of food was outstanding; it reminded me of my visits to European Marriott's.

Upon arrival there was a group in the lobby watching some high school game on t.v. and screaming at the top of their lungs when there team scored. This went on for almost 10 minutes. I asked that a manager address as it was overwhelming my auditory sensory processing as I tried to mitigate an issue with the booking. Apparently management did not present. I had to address this unruly crowd of white people (in Tennessee) as an African American. Eventually they left the area. Should not be allowed ever to be loud and disruptive. Parking was way too expensive for the rate being paid. Lastly, all of us had issues with the quality of the mattresses. We all complained of sore backs and shoulders.

Loved the location of the hotel in proximity to everything! Very pleasant staff and the rooms were clean enough. The bathrooms could use a little updating in the shower area and there has GOT TO BE SOME USB PORTS FOR OUR PHONES!! My husband is a brittle diabetic and he uses his phone constantly to check his readings. Idk why but the outlets wouldn’t work. All but one on the other side of the bed would work. With four people in the room sharing one outlet, it was very hard and frustrating.

The lack of ANY charging places in the room or the outlets working. We only had one (1) usable outlet. For four people.

The hotel was very centrally located to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially at the bar at Little Fib. Had a great bartender (sorry, didn't get his name, but he was from Yugoslavia, and was very nice.

We were a little disappointed that there was no shuttle to/from the airport. Most other hotels in downtown Nashville offered that service, Also, no coffee maker in the room. There was very little information given out about some of the things we discovered on our own - the indoor walkway to Assembly Hall; the 3rd floor bar (which we found on our last night there.

Everything!! my husband took me there for my birthday and it was incredible…. he mentioned when we got to the front desk that it was my birthday just letting them know why we were there .. (have to mention Cadence, she was the one that checked us in and was fantastic !!!) and a few hours later the staff brought up a ice bucket with champagne and 2 champagne glasses in it with a happy birthday sign!! It was an awesome surprise. The hotel bar was fabulous , the bartender there it was great room was fabulous everything there was so good will definitely be returning!!

Nothing!

This was our first trip to Nashville and wanted to be close to Broadway. This hotel was perfect for it. Just a short walk and we were in all the party bars. Felt very safe and it is connected to mall type area which we enjoyed shopping /eating. We did take an Uber to the Opry since they did not have a shuttle, but everything worked out great. The rooms were a little pricey but we didn't care----since we were in the perfect location.

Breakfast was not included in the cost.

The room and views were amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. (The wings were my favorite.) The hotel and decor felt very luxurious and modern.

I did not love the paid wifi. I also wish the sun deck was open. Also, although the food at the restaurant was amazing, the service took a while. It took over 15 minutes for us to get our check after asking for it.
