I brought my parents for there 37th anniversary and my dads 69th birthday this past weekend! We absolutely loved staying there, the rooms were clean- we were not in a newly renovated room, which was sad, BUT our room was very clean and the beds were SOOOO comfortable, we slept like babies! Only negative i have is that there is not enough lighting outside from the parking lot at building 5 to the sidewalk to get to the rooms. Sunday morning when we were leaving my 69 year old dad (on his birthday 10/20 ) fell at 6am when we were leaving due to not being able to see and tripped over the indention in the sidewalk! I think one or two added lights outside in the parking lot/sidewalk area, would be so beneficial for elderly people! other than that, we had a WONDERFUL stay and will definitely be back to check out the newly renovated rooms!

Tremont, is my favourite Townsend location and is a hotel I keep returning to. The serene location, the well maintained grounds and the cleanliness of the rooms is a winning combination! Tremont, also has a separate building for those who are traveling with pets, which I have stayed in as well. On my most recent trip this past week, the hair dryer in our room wasn't working. Of course, I wasn't aware of this until I needed it use it. With the humidity, my hair was beginning to look like Chewbacca. The manager went above and beyond and didn't waste time. She immediately went to work, even checking unoccupied rooms until she found one. The exceptional customer service is another bonus that will keep me coming back.

I was disappointed to read the property is expanding the grounds area to include mini-golf and a few other features. The beauty of the existing grounds on the property has been a great asset to travelers wanting to escape city living and enjoy peaceful mountain life.

The room was very clean. The beds were awesome comfortable!! It was a large room and we had a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker that was nice. Plenty of towels and they have bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in large bottles attached in the shower (love that). The people at the front desk were all extremely nice and professional, very helpful. The office was nice and clean and the breakfast area was also, They have a nice little continental breakfast. Overall, I was pleased with the property.

I would have given them a 10 but they are under new management and doing some renovations that will make it a 10 when complete I'm sure. The carpet in our room was really the only down side for me. It made the room stink and I went to buy air freshener. If the carpet is removed it should take care of the smell. The toilet was wobble and the seat was not the right size for the toilet but that was minor for me. They are working on the grounds for the property and I can see it being beautiful when they are finished.

Hotel was in a fantastic position, lovely rooms with plenty of space. Set in beautiful grounds with stunning views. Property is currently undergoing renovation and I am sure will be a 5 star experience when finished. Will definitely stay again on our next trip over from England

Pool area was a little tired but new owners are updating the whole complex and I am sure this will be updated in time

Loved the pool, and jacuzzi, it was worth the money spent!!! The room needed more attention on cleaning the tub wasn’t even touched for cleaning!!! I cleaned hair out of the drain!!! The dog spots need very much cleaned!!! You charge for dog fee, so use it to clean the carpets after every use with dogs!!!

It was a great experience and location for the trip.

Workers were very friendly and helpful. Room was big and nice. Pretty view from the balcony. Pretty walking path to take our dog on walks. Cute little playground for our daughter to use as well.

Bed left bruises on our shoulders, couch seemed broken, there was a puppy that seemed to have been left next door unattended majority of the time we were there, it would not stop whining and barking. Pillows were so worn down they didn't sleep well. Would've been nice to have easier access to some of the outlets to charge our phones and devices.

We originally wanted a room with a fireplace. When we got there, we realized all the fireplace rooms were upstairs. There is no elevator, only stairs. My husband has Parkinson's, and stairs are hard to maneuver, especially with luggage. They quickly worked it out and provided us with a ground level nice room. Much appreciated.

The landscape. Being situated on a hill, is hard to maneuver around the grounds if you have a handicap.

We love the location and all the changes they have made to improve the lodge. Love the indoor pool and the room was cozy and clean.

The indoor pool area needs to be pressure washed and cleaned. Windows had green algae forming on them. Our room 4105 needed more lighting. There wasn't a working light bulb on one of the lamps. We know it is under new ownership and can see that changes are being made. We will definitely come back. It is a hidden gem. The grounds are beautiful and new landscaping looked great.

The rooms were spacious, clean and close to parking. I loved having a larger trash can instead of a bunch of small ones. Staff had a rude check in prior to me but handled it great. The staff the next morning was very friendly also. Two outdoor pools and one indoor. We didn't use but plan on in the future!!!

We were not able for our rooms to be as close together as we would liked, but it worked out. The couch in one of the rooms needs to be replaced. The outside light facing parking at bldg 5 needs replaced, but it was still lite well from other street lights.

I was concerned that the price was half of a nearby hotel. But I was very happy with my accommodation. While a bit old and nothing fancy, the bed was clean and comfortable! The room was spacious and equipped with a coffee machine, microwave and a refrigerator. Really nice convenience! There is also a little balcony overlooking the green space, and parking lot was super easy! I didn't get to explore, but there were lit picnic areas and a gazebo where you could relax or do yoga. Because the hotel knew there was a Vacation Races event was happening, they put extra snacks and drinks inside the room. So nice! :)

The balcony was a bit dirty, but no big deal. The room wasn't fancy by any means, but the most important pieces were great, so no complaints....especially for the price. Great value!
