Very cute and cozy room with 2 queen beds, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and a living room/dining area. All appliances were clean and in perfect working order. Did I mention the quaint view from our room of farmland with goats and chickens and wildflowers? Close enough to the sights and far enough away to have peace and quiet. The owners gave us a courtesy call when our room was ready and had express check-in/checkout when we stayed.

We are more of a family that likes clean, quiet accommodations--not needing pool, hot tub, etc. One of the kitchen chairs was broken but outside of that no major issues. Room was comfortable and a great value.

I loved that it was right on main, so close to shopping and wine tastings. We didn't have to worry about parking because you had a spot right in front, it had the cutest kitchenette, place to hang clothes, extremely clean, full length mirror, and a very comfortable king size bed. I think this a hidden gem in Fredericksburg because I've been here many times and wish I had known about this close and cozy spot. I highly recommend. No amenities but who cares- you come here to rest. This is the best bang for your buck!

I liked everything

The room was very nice and clean and cozy. Hot water in the shower and private parking was very nice. Loved how you can sit out front and enjoy the outside really not walking distance to the main strip but still not far from every thing. Staff was very nice and friendly and tv was nice. For what I wanted and needed it met all my markers and needs. Would definitely stay there again. Nice and quiet too

Nothing really anything bad to say room floors need a little tlc and ac unit a bit loud but overall really decent.

1. Very central location. Meer minutes' drive away from the Marktplatz and dining locations in Fredericksburg. 2. Very helpful and painless check-in/check-out process, especially because we were late check-in guests. Even when no one was physically there, someone answered our questions quickly with the Ring. 3. So much parking! We were able to park tucked in a corner right next to our room away from potential watchful eyes. Otherwise, if there were more people, you would've been able to park in front of your room too. 4. Decent amenities and room temperature, especially when it was cold outside. Chairs/table/sofa were a plus. Bathroom was decently clean. 5. Bed was comfortable. My boyfriend is a light sleeper and had no problem with it.

Things that could've been better: 1. The kitchen area was a bit dusty and worse for wear. 2. Bathtub area could have been a bit cleaner.

Never had a bad stay...when traveling to Fredrickburg this is the only hotel I stay at.

Parking has needs to be thought out better, had a hard time parking because people wouldn't park were they were assigned. And had multiple vehicles. Got blocked in my space 2x because others didn't care to read or just didn't care what hotel asked and wanted to be right outside their door. Instead of walking 10ft. So it could be monitored a little better.

I loved the dog friendly aspect,(grassy areas for dog business) the relaxing seating area in the back, easy of check in and check out. Updated floors, and kitchenette. Location was key for us. Very low key, low stress and that’s with my dog.

Our room didn’t have but one clothes drawer but we were also there a short time it didn’t matter. Maybe a good idea to add a dog bag dispenser with a trash bin attached to dispose of doggie bags…

The motel is located just a few minutes away from the local attractions and restaurants. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice Texan style decorations were placed all over the room. We booked a room with a nicely equipped kitchenette, which had a microwave, fridge, two stove tops, a coffee machine, pots and pans, and dishes. Overall, we had a very pleasant visit, and got a great value for our money.

The A/C in our room was loud, and parking by our room was tight.

We loved our stay here. The room was clean and so well decorated. Check in was simple. We had an issue with the lock on our door and it was dealt with within minutes. The little soaps and shampoos in the bathroom were maybe the highest quality of soaps that I've seen in the past few weeks of traveling. The price of the room was so economical. I would highly recommend this to my pickiest of friends.

Someone may comment on the traffic noise. I could here traffic but it wasn't any different than any motel near a road. We never heard any other guests.

We loved the extra little touches like quality soaps, retro decor, and comfortable bed blending this historic motel with charm and modern conveniences for a good value stay in the town. We even extended our stay for a third night to enjoy the area more. It was clean and maintains the older building with care for comfort.

The Ac/heater worked fine but a bit loud. It was no problem using our ear plugs which also helped with any loud guests or road traffic. Kitchen could have used a few more utensils and working can opener.

I was a little worried that it was going to be sketchy because the price seemed too good to be a good place. When we arrived, we were very excited to see that it was clean, modern, and an easy express check-in.

The beds were a little too firm for us but that will not keep us from returning. One of the rooms did have an AC unit and it was a little loud at night.
